"We started our meal with the mussel runners, which were fantastic—definitely one of my favorites. Then came the stone crabs, but they turned out to be quite expensive; three "jumbo" claws cost $140! Unfortunately, I found the stone crabs to be very disappointing. While they looked fresh and clean, they didn't taste or feel like I'd expected. They lacked the sweet flavor I remember enjoying at Joe's, and most of them were quite tough. With each new crab I tried, I hoped the previous one was just a fluke, but that wasn’t the case. Given the high price we paid, it was a major letdown.
Would I return to Blue Fin? Yes, I would consider trying another fish dish since they have a nice, upscale atmosphere, and I’d like to give them another chance. However, I won’t be ordering stone crabs again!"
