"This charming Italian restaurant has a nostalgic old-world feel that transports you to a different era. Despite the snowy day, the lunch crowd was light, but the food was exceptional. The fresh, delicious bread and light, fragrant homemade minestrone were a hit. The shrimp dish was excellent as well. To top it off, our waiter surprised us with a delicious dessert adorned with a chocolate message for my girlfriend's birthday. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant."

"The taste of the food was between ok and good, nothing special. I had higher expectations after seeing reviews. I ordered a pasta dish with sausage. I guess pasta, sauce and sausage are homemade, but I was disappointed when the dish arrived with 3 small bites of sausage. I ordered a cocktail that arrived weak and mostly with ice in the shape of a juice glass. When the waitress noticed that I drank it in a few sips, I asked for another one, but without ice. What I got was an 8 ounce glass of milk with a dash of Kahlua in it. No way to impress. I just wanted a good drink."

"Went for Downtown Dining Week. This restaurant was on the $35 list, however service was significantly below that level. There was a long wait between courses, but plates were not cleared off the table until the next course arrived. Our server appeared very disinterested in our table. It also took a long time for drink orders to be delivered. New silverware was not provided and I was explicitly asked to remove my fork from the plate so the server could clear the plate. The food was decent to good, but nothing special. None of these issues would be that bad had they not all occurred or had the restaurant been on the $25 list instead."

"this is my fourth time maya’s visited last year and I generally have excellent reviews. the last time it seemed to take forever for our meals to reach our table, and it seemed that other groups that came to us were served before us. our waiting person was somewhat nervous about working with us and when I asked how long they worked in the restaurant, I was told that they were there since the restaurant opened. I could return to the future, but there are some other restaurants that I could try first."

"Interesting industrial vibe, decent amount of outdoor dining, Three dining rooms two of which are upstairs. The menu had options with broad appeal. I enjoyed the little touches like putting chunks of Parmesan cheese on the table to snack on as well as spicy olive oil Infused zucchini for your bread. I had the John Dory which is a white fish topped with crab. The portion was generous and the taste excellent. A nice night out in Warwick."

"First of all, La Pergola been a go to restaurant in our town for my family. Second, my Dad had passed this passed Sunday. Anyone who has gone through a sudden passing of a loved one know your mind is going 1000 miles per hour. So I called La Pergola as I knew my Dad would want a celebration of life reception post is Funeral Mass service. Within two hours I had La Pergola booked and the owners set up the most wonderful reception for my dearly departed father and his entire family. The restaurant was perfectly located for us and the food was soooo good everybody raved. And my family has strong opinions. : From the family style served appetizers and salads, to a very nice choice of entrees', right through dessert, EVERYTHING was perfect! A perfect afternoon which allowed us to grieve, laugh and love the memories of my Dad. Thank you La Pergola for hosting this most special event in such a short time. "We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with scallion pancakes (yum) and ending with my chicken and broccoli (yum again) , the lunch deal (rice, main dish and soup) was very well priced and really delicious. The setting is wonderful--brick walls, and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommend!!"
