"This charming Italian restaurant has a nostalgic old-world feel that transports you to a different era. Despite the snowy day, the lunch crowd was light, but the food was exceptional. The fresh, delicious bread and light, fragrant homemade minestrone were a hit. The shrimp dish was excellent as well. To top it off, our waiter surprised us with a delicious dessert adorned with a chocolate message for my girlfriend's birthday. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant."

The food was very tasty. I recommend the Parmigiano veal. Our server was personable and helpful with the menu. Since it was NYE, I was nervous about the seats available, but my wife and I were in a cabin that was comfortable enough for two other guests. The prices were very reasonable, but the food didn't suffer. All around a great experience and a great, unpretentious neighborhood restaurant.

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our two children. We all ate until we were full and still had enough leftovers for two more meals. This is a great neighborhood restaurant with delicious Italian food. I highly recommend the Calamari as a starter, it rivals the best that Chicago has to offer. We will definitely be returning, this was a 10 out of 10 experience!
