"The mashed potatoes appeared to be scooped out like ice cream and placed awkwardly on either side of the steak, and there was no sign of chives or miso. Additionally, the three large onion rings served were soggy and greasy, falling apart when we tried to eat them.
As for my meal, I chose two sushi rolls—the dragon and the bijou—as my entrée. When they reached our table, I received two large plates, each with one roll. However, the rolls were nothing special and didn’t stand out in any way.
We initially intended to enjoy the fixed-price three-course dinner but ended up spending much more than anticipated. We are fans of the Scotto Brothers restaurants; in fact, we got married at one of them. However, our experience at Bijou was extremely disappointing, and we will not be returning. This one is a miss for the Scotto team."
