"This has recently become one of my go-to spots for pho and other dishes. I highly recommend the butter chicken wings if you're a fan of wings—they're incredibly crispy and satisfying! Unfortunately, I don't have a photo because they're that good and disappear quickly whenever we order them! Haha. I also adore the crab Rangoon; they're made just how I like them, without being overly sweet like at some other places. If you enjoy appetizers, this is definitely another great choice. The pho is absolutely delicious, and the broth is among my favorites—rich in flavor. No meal is complete for me without a refreshing Thai tea with boba. The service here is always outstanding, and the staff is incredibly friendly. If you come across this place, make sure to stop in and give it a try; it’s a hidden gem!"

"I stopped by Mai 's because I was craving some imperial rolls over some vermicelli noodles. From this single experience and from ordering this single dish, I have a few thoughts. Mai 's is a quaint and unassuming restaurant it has a very old school feel inside which is common amongst restaurants along Clement. The service was good and the food was prepared in a timely manner. I had the imperial roll and bbq chicken over rice noodle plate, which came with a single fried imperial roll, pickled carrot/veg and bean sprouts all over a generous serving of chicken and noodles. The imperial roll was okay. I thought it tasted good, but the meat inside felt dense and very homogeneous. The chicken tasted great, especially with the sauce that the plate comes with. I think if the imperial roll was just a bit better quality, I would have loved it. However, I was a bit underwhelmed. It seems like other people have had better experiences with other dishes here, so I am looking forward to being back at Mai 's to try out something different."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and placed a to-go order. The parking lot is quite small and shared with a teriyaki restaurant. My food was ready when I arrived. I ordered two dishes: crispy chow mein with beef and vegetables, and a pork chop rice dish. Unfortunately, the chow mein was disappointing; the gravy was thin and not at all thick, and while the flavor was decent, it wasn’t anything special. As for the rice dish, the restaurant's name is featured, which led me to expect a unique version of it. The portion was generous, but the flavor was lacking — the fish sauce was bland, and the marinade on the meat was very subtle. I likely won’t return, as there are many other restaurants offering similar dishes that taste much better."

"Unfortunately I am a huge pho snob. I've made it over 100 times. I've tried many places. This place was just not for me. The broth didn't taste like pho broth. It was just a bowl of salt water. I even added pho beef paste I had at home. I ordered the rare round steak and brisket and it wasn't rare. It was fast but the meal itself was not good. I'm sorry. But for $15 it just was not worth it. I will not be returning."

"This place is decent. My friends and I ordered the Special Bánh Canh and the Mixed Noodles. The Mixed Noodles were tasty, but honestly, there are better options in the Bellaire area. As for the Special Bánh Canh, it didn’t quite resemble the picture from the menu, which left us a bit puzzled when it arrived, but overall, the flavors were good. One thing I wish they would do differently is the deep-fried soft crab—there was a bit too much batter. Other than that, the service was quick, and I really appreciated that they provided chopped chilies on top of the steamed bean sprouts, cilantro, and lime."

"I've tried a lot of pho in Seattle and by far this is my favorite spot. The service is great! They aren't constantly checking on you while your mouth is full lol they come when your water gets low which I prefer. The chefs, from what I've seen are all women and I love that; they're also the sweetest ladies if you get the time to just share some words with them. The vibe in the restaurant is very relaxed- this place is literally like my decompressor/safe space. Consistency is key, and this pho taste exactly the same every single time. I'm never disappointed here.ALSO FREE PARKING! Cannot beat that lol"

The portion sizes were average, but I still rated this a 5/5 because it's a great deal overall. For $12, you can enjoy a decent-sized bowl of pho, which is a value many diners will appreciate. **Food: 3/5** The food itself was quite mediocre. I wasn't impressed, but I also wasn’t disappointed—just kind of indifferent. **Service: 4/5** The service was decent. The only downside was that they brought the check while I was still eating, which felt a bit rushed. However, I understand the need for turnover, so I didn't let that affect my rating too much. "The food here is absolutely delightful! Out of curiosity, I've tried nearly everything on the menu. The staff is very friendly with my children, and they really enjoy the fish tank. There are a couple of TVs for those who like to watch something while dining, but I personally prefer to spend my time chatting with my partner. While it is a bit pricey, it's definitely worth it. This restaurant is located by McPherson and Del Mar in the HEB shopping center on the east side."

"First time coming here. I got a pork bahnmi (sandwich) and it was おいしい, masarap aka very delicious. The meat was flavorful and not dry. The bread was good outside crusty but still moist on the inside. It was a big sandwich too, I had enough to share.. but everyone gobbled it up super quick and I was happy with half. I also got fish balls which I haven't ate since I was in the Philippines. They're not the super chewy kind then we're of the soft pillowy kind but you have to ask for and pay for the sauce. I'll be coming back for more pain meds and I'm looking forward to trying their lemongrass dishes and Curry's. I'm excited that there's finally between sandwiches on my side of town"

"Absolutely delicious! The fried catfish was cooked to perfection—flaky and simply melted in my mouth. The boudin balls, fried oysters, spring rolls, and shrimp fried rice—everything we tried was amazing. We stumbled in off the beach on our first visit, aiming to give our friend from out of state an authentic Cajun and seafood experience, and this place certainly delivered. The locals in our group are planning to add this spot to our regular rotation, and we're already excited to return in a few days. If you're looking for a fantastic Cajun seafood experience, I highly recommend Viet Cajun!"

"I'm a regular at this place and my family and girlfriend love it here too! Really kind and attentive owner, plus the prices are really inexpensive for the generous portion size. It's 100% comfort-food level in my opinion, and I never tire of it. My recommendations: The #1 Pho is a great standard order, especially shared with one other family member. The broth is always piping hot and soul soothing unlike some other nearby Pho places. Be sure to ask for a side of white onions too! Also, I really like the fried egg rolls appetizer too. For rice: #25 or #29 (Charbroiled Pork, Baked Minced Meat Egg, and either #25 Shrimp Paste or #29 Meat Balls). Big taste in these orders, but the portion size for baked rice dishes is just slightly lesser compared to the other orders, but perfect for a single person. I recommend it if you're ordering for quality taste rather than quantity and/or needing to share family-style. For vermicelli: #45 or #56 (Charbroiled Pork, Fried Egg Rolls, and #45 Shrimp Paste or #56 Meat Balls). Tastes healthy and really fresh, plus resuming with generous portion sizes. The fish sauce included with this and the baked rice is no joke and tastes wonderful! Lastly, if you're not eating out with your S.O. and are a fan of durian, the Durian shake with boba is divine. I almost always order a cup at the end to take home!"

"The red bean sesame balls at this restaurant are absolutely delicious! I highly recommend trying them. They're made with sweet red bean paste, wrapped in dough, coated in sesame seeds, and fried to perfection. Not only are they tasty, but they’re also quite filling. They make a great dessert or side dish. Their unique sweetness and distinct flavor really set them apart. I searched high and low for these treats around here, and they're tough to come by. At just $4 for six, you really should give them a try. Note that the service is takeout only."

"I would advise against ordering the Tom Yum; it was far too sour for our taste. Unfortunately, my wife ended up with an upset stomach and brought it to the staff's attention. One of the waitresses insisted that the dish is supposed to taste that way, which sparked a heated argument. Eventually, she had to call her husband in to address the situation. While the service left much to be desired, the pho was quite good. Overall, I would rate this experience 2 stars."

"Normally, Pho Ha is normally really good in quality, service and even pricing. This location was garbage in all three of those areas. Tried calling to place an order and no one answered which was okay; it happens. Ordered online and realized they were overpriced. For two entrees and an appetizer it was over $50. Upon arrival to pick up the food the employees I encountered were having very a rough day and it showed. I can get past that, but they didn't have the order and kept telling me that I ordered at the wrong location and I need to go to the other one. After a bit of back and forth and me showing them the online order, the food came out from the kitchen, completed. Without going into to much more detail, the food was very poorly prepared. Spring rolls tasted good but the entrees did not, at all. One of them, which was supposed to be a vegetarian dish, had random pieces of meat. On the way out, I noticed the restaurant had a B rating and that makes perfect sense to me. Overall, the whole experience was garbage and I definitely would not recommend this place."

"The food is very tasty, no complaints in that department. I ordered take out and there is a .50 take out charge? I came in and went to the bar to order, it wasn’t welcoming at all. Finally, after sitting there waiting for a while the waitress came and act like she wanted to have an attitude but she softened up a little bit once I was pleasant with her. She took my order, slapped the bill in front of me and walked off. As I was sitting waiting for my food a waiter walks up and asked if that was my bill, as if he wanted me to pay right away. Once he noticed I wasn’t paying he went to check on my food and came out with the food. I paid and was due some change. He have me my change but was short .25 and walked off. I called him back over and told him that I was owed .25. He had the audacity to tell me they don’t have any change. I said you don’t short the customer without asking, where is my .25? He stated, “sorry we don’t have any change” I told him that wasn’t my problem and I wanted my quarter. He was irritated and went searching in his pockets. He finally came back with my change and told me that a customer had to give him the quarter to give to me like I was in the wrong. Imagine if every customer lets them get away with keeping the pocket change how much money they are making on shorting customers alone. That alone was a big turn off for me which will make not want to return. There’s a .50 cent take out charge and they want to keep your change? Doesn’t seem fair to me and it won’t happen with my coins."

"My wife and I just had our wedding at Thanh Thanh this past Saturday (12.11.21) and it was everything we ever dreamed of! Everything was a smooth process from planning our menu for our 9 course meal to the execution of everything. Thanh Thanh staff really went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was a success and the food was amazingly delicious—our guest kept complimenting how well Thanh Thanh prepared the food! They even went out of their way to made sure we got the best fruits for our dessert table and that’s what really made me love them. Usually the weddings that I attend at Thanh Thanh they usually have the typical strawberry, orange and grape for fruits but Thanh Thanh made sure we had the best of the best for everything and got us rambutan fruit!! Oh! And I cannot forget about the security that was watching over our wedding in the foyer, officer Hieu was constantly checking in on my wife and I to make sure we weren’t TOO intoxicated! Great handsome officer who is very observant of our guest and I wouldn’t be surprise if our guest tried to purposely get arrested by him . Overall it was just a GREAT experience here at Thanh Thanh!! Contemplating on where to have your wedding reception? Don’t waste your time and definitely book with Thanh Thanh! Marvin (head chef) will ensure your food is hot, fresh and delicious!
