"my wife ordered the burritos deluxe, which should be 2 combination burritos, one with huh and be drilling and the other bark with beef. they only brought a burrito that was only bark meat, not a buzz inside. we tried to correct it and bring the right burritos to both of us. they brought 2 burritos a huh and a bark meat no borons were taken on a separate plate. we talked to two different people. neither the greatest English spoken so that I don't think they understood what we were trying to say. the right price for the right burritos deluxe was $10 and some changes listed in the menu. the burritos deluxe that was thrown on the entrance was 2 different burritos deluxe and $7 and some changes. that tells me that she doesn't know her own menu and that she's also a bit messed up in the computer. because of the language barrier, I tried to correct it. was not too happy about this visit and usually have no problems coming here."

The dine-in dinner service was excellent, with each person spending between $10 and $20. The atmosphere was top-notch, receiving a rating of 5. Highly recommended dishes include the Guacamole Dip, Guacamole Mexicano, Chips and Salsa, and Chicken Enchilada. There is plenty of parking available, with a free parking lot as one of the options."

"I am used to LA-Tijuana Mexican food, so I'm not a fan of cheese drenched Mexican food. I don't want the cheese to overpower the food underneath, which is why I was so happy when I ate at Grand Azteca, because they don't want to hide the dish! I got their chili verde and felt I was back in LA. Chili verde is ultimate comfort food and when I check out new Mexican spots I like to try their comfort food dishes first. I don't know the nuances of Mexican cuisine, but I can tell the difference between dishes made with whole ingredients vs using pre-made–that's fine at home, but I don't care for that when dining out. The pork was fork tender and the rice was so soft and fluffy like a proper pilaf! Some people are turned off by fat chunks (you can see it in my pic) but I love it. It's an indication of flavor and choice of meat cut. If I were to make this at home (I won't because I'm lazy) I would use the same cut. So I'm very happy with Grand Azteca as I live nearby it and can count this spot as my go-to place for Mexican food."

"Awesome food and impeccable, polite service. Stopped in twice with my partner while on vacation we knew after the first time we would have to be back before we left the Outer Banks. The second time we visited we requested an outdoor table, and although we were the only ones sitting in that section (it seemed as though it had been closed, chairs stacked on tables, etc. they happily sat us at our requested table and even checked if the music was too loud. Our servers were excellent both times I wish I had gotten their names so I could include them in this review. Excellent cocktails and fresh Margaritas, and I would highly recommend La Granara a pomegranate mojito!"

"An authentic restaurant where you will find good food at reasonable prices. The waiter was professional. The music was Mexican, a bit loud, but I liked it that way. The establishment looks clean. There is a room in front of the dining area which is a cocktail lounge. I had a tasty lunch there in a nice big booth. I intend to return there again. Not to be ordering a large margarita, for the medium was too much for me to finish."

"We were craving Tex-Mex food, so we decided to search for a restaurant we had not tried before. Coming from Tennessee where good Tex-Mex restaurants are hard to come by, we are on a mission to find the perfect chimichanga. I ordered the chimichanga and it was definitely one of the top 5 I've ever had. The presentation was beautiful, with sour cream, pico de gallo, and avocado on top, all sprinkled with cheddar cheese. It was a feast for the eyes. The tortilla was perfectly golden brown and crispy, just as it should be. The chicken was incredibly tender and delicious. My wife had two chicken enchiladas, which were also beautifully plated. However, the reason I did not give a 5-star rating is because the chicken was not piping hot, just warm. It was still good, but not perfect. The margaritas were fantastic and strong, definitely not skimping on the tequila. They also offer bottled margaritas for takeout. There was a self-serve salsa bar with delicious mild salsa. The restaurant had a large outdoor patio and two interior spaces: a family-friendly main dining area and a Cantina with a full bar for adults. It was clear that the restaurant gets busy in the evenings. We will definitely be back, making sure to request our entrees piping hot next time."

"After years of traveling, I recently returned to my hometown of Salisbury. On a rough day dealing with doctors, I decided to stop by a familiar spot across the street for some comfort food. I ordered my old favorite, the Burrito Azteca with ground beef instead of steak. The service was excellent and the food just as delicious as I remembered from years past. "I have eaten at this restaurant once a week for the past four weeks and in my experience any review complaining about the poor service does not adequately explain exactly how atrocious the service actually is. The good: The food is fantastic. Evenings, in particular when cooler weather is here, are a wonderful time to sit outside and enjoy the live music when it is available. I presume he is the Owner but the older gentleman who appears to do a little bit of everything is great. The bad: The service is atrocious. Of the four dining experiences so far only once did I have a server who appeared to have a basic understanding of what even an average level of service is and in all honesty he was above average. The other three dining experiences, and two of these occasions there were ten tables seated or less with at least four servers that I counted, were terrible. In each of the three referenced poor experiences each server apparently believes that once they drop off your chips, take your order and bring your food that they should never check on you again until you desperately flag them down or ask the manager or another server to find them for you after waiting twenty minutes for your check. No checking to see if you require a refill of drinks or chips or if your meal is good. You no longer exist once you receive your food. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is nice but absolutely not worth dining in until they either find or train a waitstaff that understands the bare minimum of service that should be part of a dining experience. 2/5/24 Edit: I order food out weekly but dined in for the first time in two months. I don't know where they found him from but Leandro was our server and did a fantastic job. Hope the rest of the service staff can learn to match Leandro's quality and the great food."
