"Our waiter was distracted and it felt as if we weren't worth his time. He took our order and our menus, then walked away. Came back after ten minutes and asked us if we were ready to order. Our dozen oysters became a half dozen, and when we asked for the full order, they overcharged us as if we had ordered two half dozens (the manager corrected the overcharged when we brought it to his attention). They told us the Baja oysters were Briny, but they tasted as if the kitchen had added table salt. We needed every condiment provided to make them edible. My husband asked for his steak to be cooked to medium, but it arrived very rare. Our steak knives arrived 5 minutes after we had been sawing through our meals with butter knives. Also, when I made the reservation, it said only outdoor seating was available, however throughout our meal, several indoor tables remained unoccupied. Overall I would have expected better from a place that is supposed to be one of the best restaurants in San Diego and charges like it. We will not be returning, and I will recommend others steer clear as well."
