"hands down some of THE best Mexican food i've ever had! i ordered the Enchiladas de Mole dinner with sour cream, chips with salsa, and a bottled Mexican Coke and everything was clearly made from scratch and with love the servings were generous, the mole sauce was complex and rich, the enchiladas were perfect, the rice and beans were delicious, the chips were fresh, and the salsas (which i was pleasantly surprised when i received both a roja salsa and verde enchilada sauce, some places don't do that! were unbelievable.everything had a nice spice level, more flavor oriented than spicy but it had a nice kick i added some hot sauce i had at home for a little bit more, but that's just my preference! the price for their bottled Coke is the most affordable i've seen in town which stood out to me since it's my favorite. i kid you not, the verde sauce could be bottled and sold, it's easily without a doubt the best i've ever had.and not only is the food phenomenal, but who i presume are the owners are very kind my bus was running severely behind when i scheduled a pickup for around 8ish PM so i didn't get there until 8:45 PM, which i felt terrible about; i assume it was slow so they were closing up early, but they waited for me and were understanding and so sweet. i'm newer to the area, but i can already tell this will permanently be my favorite Mexican restaurant in Chicago.Vegetarian options: very good vegetarian options in almost every category of dish! they even have vegetarian tacos which i'm excited to tryKid friendliness: lovely small business with a warm environment, good owners, no coloring books or anything but it's a welcoming spot!"

"For starters, what does this place NOT have??? Authenticity, check. Incredible prices, check. Made fresh to order, check. A market, a bakery, a restaurant AND a dessert place including hard pack ice cream, check! Lastly the utmost kindness, energy and comfort, unmatched! This hole in the wall is not a place trying too hard to impress you. The sights, sounds and scents alone will transform this humble restaurant to encapsulate all of your senses. The staff here are so efficient, kind and although a language barrier, kindness and hospitality have none. We walked in and were seated quickly and there was even a live mariachi serenading you as you indulged in savory goodness. The food itself was beyond authentic, not overly seasoned to make up for lack of quality and not a fusion kind of food which included all those extras to make up for the poor design (we all know what I 'm talking about . The tacos were incredible, granted I did not personally enjoy the chicharron one because it was too soggy and fatty BUT all the other tacos were amazing. Wait until you see the interior though, this was the most incredibly immersive experience I have ever had in Orlando and it made the food and the energy all the better. I knew it was going to be an incredible experience when they brought out FRESH made tortilla chips (quite bold in sending the message it 's only the beginning . It may not be your popular well known establishment and may be missing some elements you are used to, but like all foodie ventures, the uniqueness is what keeps bringing us back to the table for more. If you 're looking for an incredible authentic experience with incredible food for a cheap price, I urge you to stop by and try this place once. You 'll leave wanting more."
