"I regularly visit this location to buy bagels, and usually, everything goes smoothly. However, last week, on February 7, I went to get some bagels and lunch around 12:30, and I noticed that the bins were mostly empty with very few options available. I ordered a brisket sandwich and immediately felt that the staff member serving me was not friendly. When I inquired about the availability of everything, sesame, or plain bagels, I was told, “No, I would have to make them.” I asked if they would be ready soon, hoping to wait a little, but the response came with a flippant tone: “If you want to wait 40 minutes.”
You would think a bagel shop would recognize the importance of keeping their main product stocked during lunch hours. I declined to wait, grabbed my lunch, and left. The staff member shrugged and said, "I can't bake and wait on customers." I then drove half a mile up the street to Panera, where I found plenty of bagels, a friendly staff, and enjoyed a coffee while I waited. So, thank you, Bruegger's, for the empty bins and unhelpful attitude. I'll be choosing Panera from now on."
