"Ordered Chocolate chip cookie, chocolate marshmallow cookie. They are huge and dense and heavy!!! Delicious with quality ingredients used.Also order the Spanish cookie with caramel inside. Very buttery. And had a sort of clove or spice taste if you're into that.The cupcake of the month was pistachio cherry. Very good. Not too sweet either.Also ordered the cheesecake in a jar. Very good with a nice layer of Graham on the bottom and not too sweet.I would come again.They put care Into their food and packaging"

"Brought my kids in to pick out cupcakes for their birthday. Granted it was an hour before close, very limited selection. We still managed to find cupcakes though. I noticed they had cute little number candles and asked if she had more in the number 4. She quickly said the colors and my son picked up three of the candles already out for display. She immediately said “Can you put those back please.?” He was just holding them and I was going to trade off as soon as I got the two I planned on purchasing. This rubbed me wrong and it felt like kids were not welcome in this shop at this point. I doubt we return."

"Wanted to take my kids for a treat. When you walk in you notice the space is super clean and spacious. Workers are super welcoming and friendly and helpful they truly make you feel very valuable, so many wonderful variety to chose from, tried their ice cream my daughter ordered the Carmel Frappe and brownies. everything tasted AMAZING!!! You know it’s Delicious when your kids want their birthday cake to be made by them, my kids left with a big smile on their face!! Definitely recommend also will be trying for so many events in the future"

"I was in the Molly 's cupcakes location on Morgan Street in the West Loop on 8/9/2023 and was appalled by what I witnessed. My kids and I frequent this location as an after school treat and have had lovely interactions with the staff until today. The young woman working the counter was incredibly courteous and had exceptional customer service, she was super patient with my kids as they decided on what to get and also was cautious when giving us recommendations after I let her know one of my kiddos has a peanut allergy. The bad review is based on the person I believe to be an owner or admin in some capacity as she was walking in with product and had that owner air to her. At first she seemed rushed and then she commented on my cupcake choice in a pleasant manner. I noticed she started to speak to the young woman employee with a derogatory tone almost like she was belittling her. The space is not that big so the customers could clearly hear her especially us as we were sitting in the swinging chairs. She then turns to the young woman and says THIS IS NOT A MEXICAN RESTAURANT in reference to the music that was playing. My oldest child, 8 years old was appalled by what he heard and looked at me like he was expecting me to say something. I was in shock and looked at her and left shortly after. I will NEVER ever patronage this establishment especially since she is selling Churro flavored cupcakes and well as Flan two signature Latino dishes. It 's giving we will colonize your profitable trendy foods by erasing you cause we won 't tolerate you."

"I used to really enjoy dining at this restaurant, but I've noticed a troubling inconsistency between their advertised hours and their actual operating times. It would be helpful for them to update the hours displayed on the door to accurately reflect when they are open. It's quite frustrating for customers who make the trip based on the posted hours only to find the restaurant closed, which can be detrimental to their business. Normally, I wouldn’t bother leaving a review for a one-time oversight, but this has now happened to us three times. Their hours indicate they are open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, yet we arrived on a Monday at 5:00 PM to find the doors locked. On Sundays, they are meant to be open from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM."

"I'm such a fan of adorable luxury cupcakes! Coming from Chicago, I've had my share of them and was thrilled to discover a local cupcakery nearby. They offer a fantastic variety of flavors, a great selection, and the staff is wonderful! My friends and I ordered a baby shower cake during the Christmas holiday, and it was absolutely delicious. While I was there, I couldn't resist getting a dozen cupcakes, and I even received a free cupcake for buying 12! Although this isn't my all-time favorite spot (that title goes to another cupcake shop that's a bit farther away), I would never hesitate to stop by for a quick treat. I would definitely consider ordering custom cakes from here; they're so moist and beautifully made!"

"Exceeded expectations! I unexpectedly got results back regarding the gender of the child I’m expecting wanted to do something a little more exciting than opening the email. I knew it was last minute, so I didn’t anticipate anyone being able to help me before 5pm. Alas, I walk into Smallcakes and met Wyatt! He was so so nice and helpful. He knew exactly what to do had me in and out with icing filled cupcakes in 10 minutes. Absolute pro! I’ve had a really rough pregnancy and my experience with Wyatt brought me back a little joy. "Today was my first time visiting this business, which I advised the employee. I complimented her on the amazing smell of the shop.Pros:Availability/Variety: All of the flavors were available.Presentation: The cupcakes looked amazing and can be seen close up.Other: The cupcake was moist.Cons:Size: The regular would be considered a small at a competitor. I could have bought boxed cake mix and had more for the same price.Taste: Ordered Wedding Cake; and it had no almond taste. The frosting tastes like Crisco not butter or cream.Price: Too much for such a small cupcake. Then, I’m allergic to nuts and also got Carrot Cake. So I asked for 2 separate boxes, like I’m used to at a competitor’s business and was charged $1.00. Seriously?I won’t be back will stick with the competition."
