"Today was my first time visiting this business, which I advised the employee. I complimented her on the amazing smell of the shop.Pros:Availability/Variety: All of the flavors were available.Presentation: The cupcakes looked amazing and can be seen close up.Other: The cupcake was moist.Cons:Size: The regular would be considered a small at a competitor. I could have bought boxed cake mix and had more for the same price.Taste: Ordered Wedding Cake; and it had no almond taste. The frosting tastes like Crisco not butter or cream.Price: Too much for such a small cupcake. Then, I’m allergic to nuts and also got Carrot Cake. So I asked for 2 separate boxes, like I’m used to at a competitor’s business and was charged $1.00. Seriously?I won’t be back will stick with the competition."

It's one of the best cupcakes I've ever tried! I absolutely love the red velvet with pecans.

I wasn't satisfied with the desserts. My brother and I had higher expectations, but they turned out to be quite bland. I don't plan to come back.

THEE BEST RED VELVET ever! I’m addicted. My dog loves the pupcakes as well. Everyone is so nice and patient every time I visit because I can never decide my second cupcake flavor. View menu

Small cakes came thru on the cake. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! It was beautiful and exactly what I asked for. And not to mention delicious. I got my wife's favorite flavor wedding cake (almond flavor). DELICIOUS!!!

Had a random craving for something sweet, so I came here and Yailine was so refreshing to get serviced by. Laid back, not loud, she took her time explaining the flavors and service and honestly, its just great when employees arent the typical overbearing servicing type. Thanks Yailine for the cupcakes

There was an extra charge for a box. And and extra charge for a pup cake container. They put it in a zip lock bag. $1 for a zip lock bag and $1 for a box. No other smallcakes location does this. Cashier did not want to give me a receipt which I thought was weird and I left unsure if I was scammed or not. I recommend going somewhere else. View menu

This quaint little bakery on Eldridge is a gem. The cupcakes are incredibly moist, and the churros cupcake was the standout for us—it was absolutely delicious! We also really enjoyed the key lime cupcake. The hot fudge sundae cupcake was decent, but the red velvet didn’t impress us; it was our least favorite. The icing was overly sweet and lacked flavor, making it reminiscent of the overly sugary cupcakes you find at Kroger. Despite that, we would definitely return to try more flavors and will definitely be getting the churros cupcake again!

I have always ordered my cakes from here. Spoke with them last week and placed an order. Discussed the entire cake. I was scheduled to pick up the cake today at 2. When I called to confirm that I will be picking up the cake today, they say they don't have an order for the cake. Someone placed a comment on my account that I may not want the cake and I was supposed to call back to confirm I want the cake. We never discussed that I would call back. I confirmed that I wanted the cake the day I spoke with them. I have ordered cakes from them every year for the past 5 years. Now my son has no cake for his party tomorrow. I even have emails discussing the details of the cake. Small cakes called me...

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
