"I really enjoy Dickey's food and sauces. However, I have a lot of issues with their app. I receive texts and emails multiple times a day, yet when I visit the restaurant, they often don't offer the special I came in for. This time was no different. I had to order a different special, which ended up costing a bit more. Fortunately, a young man helped me out by letting me know that some items are actually cheaper in the restaurant than through the app. The food was good, though it wasn't as warm as I would have liked, and they were out of turkey and chicken even though it was after noon. Overall, the food was enjoyable, and the staff was very friendly. I would be willing to give them another try in the future."

"I had to arrange food for 15 people on short notice, and the staff was incredibly helpful, preparing everything in under 30 minutes. "I picked up the All American spice rub at Costco on a whim. I do a lot of barbecuing with my Traeger pellet smoker and have been searching for a good, versatile commercial rub. I’m not the type who feels compelled to make my own just for the sake of it. Let me tell you, this rub is excellent! I recently used it on pork belly burnt ends and spare ribs, and they turned out amazing. The flavor profile is really impressive, and best of all, it’s not overly salty, which is a huge advantage in my opinion!"

"Do not order their roasted potatoes unless you like cold and soggy (most likely microwaved) frozen hash brown potatoes with 2 large scoops of raw, grocery-store minced garlic dumped on top. Their rice is okay, their chicken is good, their meat is very good but for the same cost you get three times as much elsewhere. I might have been okay with the portions had I not tried the $5 paper bucket of raw potatoes first. I wanted to like this place and I like to support new restaurants. I had just tried the taco place next door not too long ago and we all really liked it. These places are all hurting for customers and if you want to see a place stay open beyond COVID you gotta help them pay the rent. Anyway, thought I would give this place a shot but I won 't be going back. After the potatoes, I just don 't know how an establishment can expect to be taken seriously and develop a great customer base. The place was clean, the restroom was off limits, I ordered 2 of the combo platters and each had about three to five little pieces of meat or chicken, some grilled onions, some grilled veggies and the rest rice."

"When I got home and opened the ribs, I was really disappointed (see attached photo). It was just a bunch of dry bits with hardly any whole pieces. I felt like I might have received the leftovers from the ends of other racks. From what I saw of the diners in line, their meals looked great, which is why I was so eager to order. The brisket was slightly better, although still on the dry side. I wouldn't choose the pulled pork and sausage combo again. I wish I had taken a picture because the portion of the pulled pork was quite small, and there were maybe six thin slices of what seemed like Polish kielbasa. As for the sides, they were just average. My husband and I had high hopes for this place, and even though the takeout was disappointing, I would be willing to give it another chance by dining in. I think that would help us decide whether to continue searching for good barbecue. I really enjoy supporting local mom-and-pop restaurants over chains, so I hope the dining experience is better."

"This is definitely one of the better Dickey's locations and by far the best BBQ place in Wylie I have tried. One of the others I knew went out of business and another is beyond terrible (Linke BBQ), which should be avoided at all costs! Anyway, I've never had a bad meal about of about 20 visits to this location. It is very consistent and every employee I have interacted with has been pleasant."

"Really disappointing customer service. I met my husband here with my son. I don't normally eat here so I walked in, went to the food area and started telling the guy that I just wanted sides. He pawned me off on another employee who asked what I wanted, I told her that we wanted fries and some veggies, etc. She started the fries and then disappeared. I was waiting for someone to return and then a rush of two other huge parties came in, were given plates (I never was) and the lady that was supposed to be helping me started checking them out. I was so confused because I had been there first and no one returned to get the rest of my order and I was never offered a plate. I had to wait over 10 minutes and I finally went to the take out around and asked if I was supposed to be doing something differently. They literally giggled at me and told me that is supposed to get a plate... problem is, the staff is supposed to give you the plate and no one ever returned to help me and then ignored me to help the two other families that came in after me. I am so disappointed since I work close and had heard good things about this place but that was not my experience."

"Smells so good from across the highway. Good selection of fresh smoked texas BBQ. I recommend the chicken breast, potatoe casserole, and their coleslaw. The staff was friendly and helpful and the lobby was clean and could entertain a huge amount of people. The play the NFL games on their big tv on Sunday's, and have certain location-specific daily dine in specials. Will be back for sure!Kid-friendliness: They had highchairs and booster seats openly available for families, kids eat free on Sundays advertised roadside in front of the building, and free ice cream for dessert.Parking: Lots of spaces as it appears that the parking lot circle the entire building all the way around.Wheelchair accessibility: I didn't notice any stairs and think that the building is only one level story."

"if I could give zero stars, I would have what a terrible experience my wife and I went in and ordered two ribbed plates that $32 did not know that they had a special for almost the same, for $5 a plate that would have been $10 the workers were lazy the manager was behind the eating ribs while customers came and get out of the business and get food from the kitchen I would get on thinking he does"

"This is a lovely buffet restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and practically melted in my mouth. The staff was attentive and polite, with a special shoutout to Kellie for being both knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere was beautiful, and the prices were very reasonable. I enjoyed a meal that included three different dishes for under $20. I’ll definitely be returning!"
