"The whole experience at Deville Diner was wonderful. My husband and I sat in a nice little booth upstairs which felt fun and cosy. I had a Cote D'Azur cocktail and my husband the Black Rain both were delicious. The fried pickles were hot and crispy with a nice creamy, mustardy dipping sauce. There was a marinara sauce as well. We both had salads and we were both really pleased with our choice. I had the steak salad with red chimichurri sauce and it was hearty as well as delicious. My husband had the General Taos chicken salad and he loved it. We both had a local beer. We've visited Montreal many times over the years and this was the best food by far that we had on this visit. The menu was creative and there was a lot to choose from. Everything was well prepared, the service was attentive and we didn't feel rushed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Montreal of any age. Fun, creative, good service, and great food and drinks."

"This was my first visit to any Famous Dave 's. I walked in on a Tuesday evening through the To Go door- which I might add is a genius idea! You can order at a counter and wait for your food, order online or over the phone and pick it up through this entrance. To the right is the hostess stand for those patrons that will be dining in. Everyone was very pleasant when I walked in. I was greeted by a young man (maybe HS/early college age). He greeted me and asked if he could take my order- when I told him I 've never been here before and was looking for recommendations- he appeared to be excited to share the menu and walk me through the most popular items. I eventually decided on the 2- meat combo (pictured) choosing the Famous Ribs Pulled Pork accompanied by 2 sides (coleslaw mashed potatoes), and all meals finish with a Corned Bread muffin. If you look at the picture you can tell I was eager to jump in prior to taking a picture. The Ribs- the best I 've had in a LONG time- they fell off the bone, were perfectly smoked and could taste in each bite. The pulled pork was cooked very well- with just enough juice, spices, and BBQ sauce. The often forgotten- sides...The coleslaw was a creamy coleslaw- which is my preference and was very good. I 'm not a huge mashed potato fan, but thought I would give them a shot- I was not let down- they were really tasty. Rounding out this incredible meal was one of the better cornbread muffins I 've had. It wasn 't dry at all- very tasty. Overall, if you are in the Waldorf area and are a fan of BBQ I would highly recommend Dave 's Bar-B-Que. I only got a glimpse of the dine-in restaurant, but from what I saw, it looked very clean, well put together, well decorated, and an overall great ambiance for any group of people."

"We had a really good time here but I don’t think the food is anything memorable. It’s good, but not fantastic. We were three people and ordered the menu for 2 that comes with ribs, chicken, brisket and pork. It’s a huge portion and even though we were three we were not able to finish it. They also let you customize it to your taste if there are any sides or meats that you would not like. The value is fantastic and our server was terrific! No complains, but I have had better bbq in other places."

"My family and I haven't been here since we lived in Rochester, New York and that one closed which nobody understood since they were doing really well. Appetizer- My son wanted cheese sticks, but they don't send them. So he had cheese curds with a sauce on the side and he liked them. I ate one and they were good. Drinks- I ordered a strawberry lemonade and my son had mango lemonade. Both lemonades were really great and refreshing. Entree- I ordered potato salad and collard greens for my sides and rib tips and fish. My son ordered chopped pork and chicken. His sides were French fries and broccoli. He enjoyed the broccoli, but left the fries. Everything was great, just too much food. My son took his chopped pork home and I took almost my entire entree home."

"First time at this location. First table was wobbly. Then my grandsons cheeseburger was very charred. His fries were good though. My meal the lunch special was good I had chopped pork, jalapeño cheddar link and cole slaw. My husband had the ribs, brisket and beans. His was ok. He said the best was the beans and of course we all love the cornbread. My iced tea was good also....I feel they may have been short staffed. HOWEVER, if that's the case let me know upfront. IF I go back to this location action it will be a LONG time...comparing this and the Smyrna location is comparing apples and oranges."

"The entire thing was very differant than the other Famous Dave's location. I didnt like that that you have to go order then still wait for you to be served. If you have small children you actually have to leave them to go order from a takeout menu, people were everywhere. You couldn't tell who were the dine in guests from the take out guests. We were a party of so this location place was very very small you almost felt like sardines in a can, but i couldnt understand why a reservation was suggested until we got there and saw why, plus they bring out these big platters that were almost as big as the tables. This location seriously needs to be remodeled. Food was spectacular as always and so was the staff"

"Great service. Very attentive. The restaurant was about 50% full. We have our drinks fast and stayed full throughout the meal. Our meals came about 15-20 min after our order. What was great for our family. Allow us to visit without our mouth full of the good BBQ. My only real complaint was that there was no butter for the corn or cornbread, but both were pretty good without it."

"This place has never been my favorite to eat in Kansas City. So many great options for bbq but a friend had a gift card. The service was absolute perfection. I ordered a side salad and a baked potato and they were both delicious. One friend had a delicious looking burger and the other had brisket, which she said was excellent. "I haven't been to Famous Dave's in a number of years. Haven't been to this Famous Dave's and 10-15 years. They used to have good quality food and service. The hostesses were nice. The food was absolutely horrible. I will not recommend this particular famous Dave's. Definitely not worth the money and the quality was terrible. I would like to say this is a rare occurrence, but the people walking behind us had nothing good to say about the food and the server was quite rushing and not friendly. There were only about 4 or 5 tables. So it was not because there were too many guests."

"The food was disappointing, and the service was even worse. We were celebrating my son's 17th birthday at his favorite restaurant—Famous Dave's, which he has visited every year for the past 12 years. Unfortunately, this will be his last visit, as he has vowed never to return. At his age, he recognized that we were ignored and received overcooked, bland meals that were served cold. "First, the service was outstanding. Our hostess seated us quickly with a smile and our server was absolutely awesome. However, the food was literally 50/50. I got the Q two meat meal with bbq chicken and rib ends, pineapple steaks, and red mashed potatoes. Hubby got the Q two meat as well with brisket and turkey, Mac n cheese, and broccoli. First the negatives, the cranberry juice I would never order again. The broccoli was almost raw and the Mac n cheese was so bland salt couldn't save it. The pineapple was so disappointing, I love pineapple to no end, this was the worst I have ever had sadly. The brisket was simply okay. The red potatoes were really good, the corn muffin was great, and the rib ends are what we both shared, as it was the best of four meats. If I rated on service 5 stars, but the value of the food definitely did not meet quality of flavor by any means."

"When the waitress came to our table, the first thing she did was crack her knuckles... Total turnoff. Sadly disappointed when I learned that The Manhandler is no longer on the menu, I ordered the chunk pork. The flavor was fine, however, 1/4 of the serving was a large chunk of nonedible skin. The healthy side order of steamed broccoli was dried out. Remembering the warm, cinnamon/sugar apple sauce including slices of apple, I order this as the second side order and was greatly disappointed when served with a cup of prepackaged Mott 's brand, no sugar added applesauce. This was the Worst meal I have ever seen served in a restaurant and was embarrassed of the decision to bring friends family there."

"I want to share our experience with Famous Dave's in Cedar Falls, IA. In the afternoon of Friday, March 3, 2017 Ashley Pump House called to confirm our reservation for our gender revelation party later in the evening. They informed us that they screwed up our reservation and that there is nothing they could do. We spent 40 minutes French calling all places where we could think in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area to find a restaurant that could accommodate 50 people on a Friday night. Ashley finally made a call to Famous Dave's and we talked to Melissa, the manager. She asked some questions and finally said it could be a tight fit, but they were more than willing to help us. When they arrived, they told us that they only assigned a few waiters to our party. The waitresses were incredibly patient, nice and so on, all had everything they needed. When the waiters came here and started picking up all the checks, I realized I never got mine. I let the waitress know that I never got my bill, and she told me it was supervised by the manager. The manager paid for my and Ashley's dinner and my three alcoholic drinks. I wanted to let Melissa come to say thank you and we embraced her. She congratulated us and said something else. Melissa then called on Saturday and left a voice mail that thanked us and said she was glad that they could take our party. I have never had such amazing customer service and we are so grateful for everything Melissa and the waiters have done for us. And the food is soooo delicious! It was one of the best nights of our life."

"My absolute favorite aspect of this restaurant is the food, but the second-best part is the ambiance when you walk in. The service is warm and consistent; no matter who is working, you’ll receive exceptional attention, and multiple staff members will check in on you throughout your visit. We usually sit in Mia’s section, and she now knows our order by heart. In fact, at this point, it feels like the whole staff does! I’ve been here at least twelve times in the past year, and I have another two or three visits planned for this month. The owner, Kim, keeps things genuine. She frequently makes rounds to check in and chat, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. We absolutely love it here and will definitely keep coming back! If you're a steak lover, I highly recommend trying: 1) The Ribeye (Medium) – It's cooked perfectly, not overdone, and incredibly juicy and flavorful. 2) The asparagus side (tops only). 3) Any dessert of your choice (but definitely go for the butter cake if it’s available!). My girlfriend is a big fan of the Mojitos and the MSP burger."

"The best thing about our dining experience at Famous Dave's was the service provided by our server. I wish I could remember his name but he made sure our needs were met as customers. He would always come at the right time to refill our drinks and offer anything we needed. We enjoyed the potato chips served as an appetizer and he offered us another plate after I said how good they were. He even provided my husband a to go soda cup when we were leaving. The amount of food on the 3-meat plate was plenty for the two of us and the value was great. The corn bread and the roasted Brussels sprouts were good. We got to use a 20% coupon which was huge. This was my second time at this location and it was definitely better than the first. Glad we gave it another try. Will definitely go back."

"Food was cold. Sent it back and ask it to be reheated. The veggies came back ok, but the chili was barely room temperature. Order another cup of chili later, it was delivered barley warm, it was never even hot enough to start to melt the cheese. Took a really long time to get our food. The band was great, but they put tables on the dance floor so there wasn't much room to dance."

"Ordered fried shrimp and crispy onion strings as takeout. Both were awful. Both extremely salty and on top of it, the crispy onion strings were greasy and soggy, not crisp and had an aftertaste. The onion strings in particular were so bad, I just threw them in the trash but at $9, that's not right. Service was very good."
