"I went to Brazil Express last Friday 4/19/24 with 3 family members, it was the first time here for all of us, sadly we were not impressed. I went up to the salad bar which was small, the food looked like it had been sitting in a fridge for quite some time and then pulled out, but I decided to give it a try. From the salad bar I chose the tomato cucumber salad, beets, tilapia ceviche, mushrooms in wine sauce and tabbouleh salad. While I was picking out items by the olives I had accidentally bumped one of the food tongs that they had placed on the ledge and it fell on the floor. There was a server who was a few feet away from me and as soon as he heard the tongs fall he immediately went to pick them up for me. To my surprise he did not take them back to the kitchen and put out a new clean pair, but instead he picked them up off the floor and put them back on the ledge for other patrons to continue using!!! Can we say unsanitary! I went back to my table after that, and put up the meat card. While I waited for them to bring out the meat I decided to start trying what was on my plate. The tomatoes in the cucumber salad were old and soggy, like when they've been pre chopped and refrigerated for at least a day. I moved on to the beets, it's hard to mess up beets right? Wrong, they too also tasted old, and lack the juiciness they normally have. The ceviche had no real flavor other than refrigerator, as for the mushrooms they too were disappointing, they tasted like canned mushrooms that had also been left to sit in a refrigerator. The only thing that was edible was the tabbouleh salad. Moving on to the meats, the first cut of meat I took was the garlic steak, it didn't taste like garlic or any other seasoning for that matter, it was not enjoyable. Next was the top sirloin which was super fatty, so difficult that I struggled to cut through it with a knife, the bits of meat I did manage to get weren't flavorful. Finally to the more enjoyable cuts the filet mignon and the picanha. The filet was a little tougher than other restaurants (I got medium rare for all meats mind you) but was still very flavorful and enjoyable. Moving on to the service, the waitress was very nice, she just wasn't around enough, she would disappear for long periods of time. Everyone at the table was drinking cocktails and we had to request that someone find her on 2 separate occasions as we needed more cocktails throughout the night. The picture I am attaching, I asked for everything on that plate to be taken away by the waitress except the pineapple and everything else was unenjoyable (meats pictured and garlic and top sirloin) I do not plan on going back or recommending to any other family or friends."

"We ate here recently. It was not a new place for us, bu that been here only 1-2 times in many years. We enjoyed the chips and dip, although it certainly appeared they actually counted how many chips we were allowed. The ambiance is very good here the rooms are broken up so noise doesn 't spread. We both had chimichan 's. Hers was chicken and mine beef. I appreciated my food more than she did. As she started eating it, she noticed it looked more like a beef-filed one. She called the waitress over and showed her. The waitress agree it appeared the kitchen had made a mistake. A second one was ordered and came quickly. But as she was eating it once again the color and texture of the meat was not chicken, The manager finally came to the table. He left and went to the kitchen. Came back after 1-2 minutes later. He explained that it was indeed chicken, but the meat is a mixture of seasoned pork and chicken. My wife ate her food, but was upset because the name of the entree was 'chicken '. She didn 't enjoy it because she could taste the difference firstly but mostly because it was NOT what she wanted and it turned out ALL their chicken and beef are mixtures. My beef one it turned out was also a mixture. Why they did it we don 't know. As we let her comment to me was "I will never eat here again. Make sure when you write this up that you let others who might read it know what they are getting. . I am now doing it. Unfortunately for the restaurant, it appears many others are no longer fond of it because for a Saturday evening it was less than half full."
