"Yesterday was the first and last time I will ever step foot in this restaurant. Walked in at 2:56 order drinks and appetizers which came out fast but once sushi rolls were ordered it went down hill. We waited and waited for the food to show only to be told it’s almost ready at 3:44. Right after this two tables that came in well after us was brought their food which was sushi rolls. I finally had enough and looked at our server and said we’d like to cancel the sushi and pay so we could leave. We walked out at 3:55 without an apology or any manager speaking to us. This place is a complete joke! There is no way sushi rolls take over an hour to make!"

"Absolutely delicious! After passing by Nick's countless times, we finally decided to give it a try after the last Trick or Treaters had stopped by. It was a bit late, so we were unsure if it would be a hit or miss. To our surprise, we were completely wrong. Everything we ordered was fantastic! Each dish was cooked to perfection and had our taste buds dancing with delight. We ordered the Chicken Gyro Fries and the Chicken Breast Dinners, and our family really enjoyed the meal. "recently visited this restaurant (used to be Anita’s) and was immediately given chips and salsa and asked what we wanted to drink. they also have delicious guacamole that tasted freshly prepared. ten minutes later we received our drinks and then placed our food order. was happy to see that they are a separate vegetarian menu and are ready to add to each of these options. I ordered 2 cajun tofu taco teller with tears and bors and others ordered a veggie burrito and a tostada salat. tofu tacos were surprisingly filled with black beans and Spanish rice and others who were with me also enjoyed their food. the portion sizes were decent and my only recommendation is that they add vegan cheese to give vegan more flexibility. the only warning I would give is that the salsa that comes with the chips is sharp. we also waited thirty minutes to refill and maintain our crisp, but I will criticize this until his employment. they bring their geduld and be clear, they don't want to be on their food and they will be in order. updated from previous review to 2017-12-24"

"While searching for a quality Tex-Mex restaurant that wasn't a chain, we came across Village Cafe. This quaint little diner promised to deliver what we were after, and we decided to give it a shot. We went in with modest expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. The sauce had a nice kick to it, unlike the bland, overly vinegary varieties found in many places. The beans were well-prepared and flavorful, and the taco tortilla was perfectly crispy without being burnt. Overall, we felt that our modest expenditure was well worth it, especially considering the superior food compared to chain restaurants. "Excellent choice. This is our 4th visit all good) and just had to review this time. Lunchtime on a Sunday was very busy, however, we were seated within just a few minutes. Chips and salsa were fresh, drink order taken promptly. Although it seemed only two wait staff, both friendly and efficient, were in the dining area, orders and food delivery was prompt. Food arrived hot, in a generous portion and delicious. We had the Enchiladas Jalisco, Burrito Supremo, and 3 a la carte beef tacos. Everything was tasty. "The menus are updated with a Sharpie, and the prices have gone up significantly. I spent $12.50 on a lunch that included a burrito, taco, and tostada. You could find the same meal at most other places for around $9, and it would likely be of better quality. The beef was watered down due to being cooked with tomatoes and lacked seasoning. There was minimal cheese, resulting in a very bland meal. They also charge for chips and salsa after the first small basket. The whole atmosphere felt like they were struggling to make ends meet, and they're trying to compensate by passing costs onto customers. The menu is filled with confusing extra charges, making it unclear what the final bill will be. You have better dining options available; I recommend going elsewhere. This place really needs to overhaul its menu and business approach, or I doubt it will last much longer."

"During our trip from California, we decided to try the only Mexican restaurant in El Dorado after my cousins recommended it as a popular spot they enjoyed. Given my California background, I was a bit doubtful, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. While it may not be super authentic, I've found that many Mexican restaurants in California aren't either. The dishes were flavorful, reasonably priced, and served in generous portions. We really enjoyed the salsa and chips; the chips were thin and crispy, and the homemade salsa had fantastic flavor! Kudos to this small town in Missouri!"

Room for RVs and semi rigs to park or turn around. Overnight parking about 0.7 miles away at the marina.Wheelchair accessibility: The entire restaurant, parking, and dining area as well as the bathroom are all on one level. No stairs. Broad hall and wide door for the bathroom. Plenty of room at the commode. All the entrances are open arches. Low counter puts the cashier station in reach."

"They have changed their happy menu. No longer do they have $5 appetizers as they once had. Let me share my latest experience of this happening. I have been going there the past 10 years from time to time to take advantage of this menu. I loved the chicken wings! You would get 10 large chicken wings for $5. For me, that was a meal in itself. I would bring friends and family from out of town because I loved the location and the menu during happy hour. This past weekend, I took my boyfriend there to get the wings. When I arrived I found that the happy hour menu and the menu itself had changed. Still my boyfriend wanted to try the wings. He ordered BBQ wings. The waiter warned us that they were smaller than what we had grown used to. I asked if it was still 10 wings, the waiter shared that it was not. That is was 6 wings. I asked the waiter how they could do that when the advertisement on the screen clearly showed 10 wings as it once was. The waiter apologized for the false advertising and said that point would be shared with management. When we got our food it was $6 for 6 smaller wings. My point is that if you are looking for the same deal that once was at this location with the happy hour menu, you won’t get it sadly. Maybe there will be something on the new menu that you might like though!"
