"The history of this place is a draw alone I mean how many places can you have drinks and food where George Washington, Paul Revere, and Benjamin Franklin sat to have drinks? The added plus is that the vibe here is great, the prices are amazing, and the bar service was absolutely fantastic. We were able to grab bar seats (thanks to those who shifted down so we could fit! , which is always my personal preference. Devon (sp? the bartender was fantastic FAST despite a very full bar, fun, personable, and hilarious. Really enjoyed her personality, drink making skills, and conversation! We had come from Harpoon, so weren 't starving, but definitely wanted to take advantage of the $1 oysters (M F, 3 6 PM , then heard raves about the clam chowder so ordered that as well plus, I can never turn down truffle fries of any kind so threw in an order of those as well (despite being so full from eating prior . Everything was delicious the oysters were on the medium to large size, super fresh and briny, the clam chowder was DELICIOUS, rich, with tons of clams. The truffle fries were also hugely portioned and really good especially to soak up the drinks consumed prior and while there. As far as drinks went, the cocktail list was really vast and Devon (going to be so mad if I 'm spelling her name wrong! was a pro at crafting them. Some of what we tried included the blood orange marg, G.T.O.T.M. (the gin and tonic of the moment , Fiddlehead IPA, sour beer, and Sauvignon Blanc. Everything was delicious, cold, and was served fast. Overall, this is a really charming, fun place to go and one that I 'll definitely return to for future Boston trips!"

"When a bar comes to Damascus, a city that had a 50 year alcohol prohibition that didn 't end until 2013, it 's BIG news. Up until then, and even today because of the limited choices), most of the drinking any resident of the town does is in neighboring Germantown or Mount Airy. Quincy 's has been a welcome addition and I have been coming here to see the same familiar faces since it opened 3 4 years ago. It should be noted that there is no LIQUOR served here only beer and wine but that 's a Damascus issue, not Quincy 's. Damascus will NEVER be a liquor accessible town, I can assure you of that. In any event, you won 't find a nicer and more attentive bartender than Tyler he works long hours and seemingly lives there but never looks agitated or gloomy as you 'll see with some in that line of work. Another thing I love about Quincy 's as I do with any bar that uses it is the access to the TOUCHTUNES jukebox. Nothing like controlling the music and the mood from your own phone! This is a GREAT place to sit at the bar on Sundays during the fall and watch NFL football all day very organized and each of the flat screen overhead TV 's are labeled with particular games. And hey, this is Damascus after all, so Quincy 's doubles as a FAMILY RESTAURANT! Bring the kiddos and enjoy the food which, by the way, is really good). The only reason I deducted one star? The hours are a tad odd they are open Wednesday through Saturday from 3PM to 9PM ish), Sunday 12PM to 9, and closed on BOTH Monday and Tuesday. Naturally, I always have a hankering to be there on...well, Monday or Tuesday. :"
