"We spent nearly two hours there in total. It took 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive, 25 minutes to take our food order, and over 45 minutes for the food to be served. We had asked for one item to be prioritized as the person needed to leave for work, but even that took an additional 20 minutes. The cream chipped beef was unexpectedly sweet, which was off-putting, while the chocolate chip pancakes were the only redeeming part of the meal, though they are typically easy to get right. The owner or manager seemed unable to simply remove the missing items from our bill, choosing instead to apply a discount that reflected the equivalent amount. This left me wondering whether there was a lack of understanding of their system or if there was something else amiss. Perhaps the difficulties we faced were due to it being Father's Day, but regardless, this experience has made it clear that this is not a place I would choose to revisit."

"They got our order wrong. We ordered a quesadilla with only cheese and chicken and they added peppers onions and tomatoes. They forgot the garlic bread on our shrimp basket and I called to let them know, they did absolutely nothing to compensate. They were just gonna write it down in their notes and that was it and I had ordered additional meal."

"Horrible service. There's no reason that an establishment should be closing up an hour before their (already very early) posted closing time. Both Google Maps and the updated sign on their entrance indicate they close at 3pm on Saturdays. Employees had anattitude and seemed to be very bothered by me coming in an hour before closing and choosing to dine in. As someone's who'sworked almost exclusively in the food industry until recently, there's no excuse for this. It's not like they were closing atmidnight and I came at 11:30PM. It was the afternoon. Food was unremarkable. As a matter of fact, the macaroni salad had adistinct flavor that only comes from not being stored properly/not being fresh. Genuinely 0/10"

"Below average deli food all the way around. Cheese fries are soggy fries with a Dixie cup of whiz. The Rachel was just….I don’t know what to say other than average all the way around.I wouldn’t come back if I lived in the area. Not being from here, I’ll never come back. And to the local patrons who rated this place 4.6 stars, are there really no better options in Doylestown? This is what you like?The slogan here is “more than just a deli” which I would say is far too aspirational. You should change this to “just a deli.” A difficult, but maybe attainable stretch goal for Uptown Deli “Just a Deli.”"

"I just ordered a mushroom chicken cheese steak platter from Campus pizza.It was one of the worst platters I've ever had from them. It had no mayo or ketchup on the steak as I ordered, barely any chicken on it. IT WAS THIN AF ! My fries were big, thick, Luke warm w/no salt,pepper, or ketchup as I ordered. I use to get the Italian hoagie from there; about 1-2/week for me family, but they started to get skimpy with the meat on that so I stopped ordering it also because it's not the 1st time something like this has happened w/them so I had to let y'all know. But I paid $16. for a platter that's barely worth $8.I ordered from there because it's Halal, it was good 1 point the people are nice.I barely eat pizza, but it seams like that may be the only thing I get from there from now on unless they get skimpy w/that also."

"We finally tried the Philly Shack and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT AT ALL!!! Both my husband and myself got 8in Philly cheesesteaks. I got mine with mayo, pickles, banana peppers, green peppers, and onion. My husband and I both loved our food, SO SO SO GOOD!! Didn’t get fries or anything, honestly the sandwich itself was enough. "I didn't spend much time at Slacks, but I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered the patenhoagie, while my husband went for the Italian hoagie. He usually isn't very picky about food, but after finishing his, he mentioned that while the bread was great, there was hardly any meat. As for me, I'm a bit more particular, and when I order something like the Godfather Italian Hoagie, I expect more than just three slices of meat (and I'm not exaggerating here), not to mention barely a hint of sharp provolone on what felt like an oversized hotdog roll covered in seeds! I was really disappointed."

"I was craving a Philly cheesesteak and decided to check out this place. From the outside, it looks like a hole in the wall, but once you step inside, you realize it’s the real deal. I visited with my older parents, and the staff was both patient and friendly. The cheesesteak sandwich was really tasty—not overcooked or greasy. If they offered fresh cuts, it would be perfect. I didn't pay much attention to the fries, but the sandwich definitely made up for it. Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our meal."

"that was the first time I ever was here and I have to say that I was not disappointed. space was clean, pleasant and a comfortable place to enjoy breakfast for a reasonable price. the food was delicious and served quickly. our waitress, though I didn't know her name was busy, but she made sure everyone took care of her. it seemed almost as if it was the only one that was on the tables, but the service was not affected because they were taking care of their customers and giving orders in a timely manner. the huh and the wads were a must to try huh was delicious. omelette was cooked for perfection. this is a must try if they are ever in the early garten area."
