"We spent nearly two hours there in total. It took 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive, 25 minutes to take our food order, and over 45 minutes for the food to be served. We had asked for one item to be prioritized as the person needed to leave for work, but even that took an additional 20 minutes. The cream chipped beef was unexpectedly sweet, which was off-putting, while the chocolate chip pancakes were the only redeeming part of the meal, though they are typically easy to get right. The owner or manager seemed unable to simply remove the missing items from our bill, choosing instead to apply a discount that reflected the equivalent amount. This left me wondering whether there was a lack of understanding of their system or if there was something else amiss. Perhaps the difficulties we faced were due to it being Father's Day, but regardless, this experience has made it clear that this is not a place I would choose to revisit."

What a fantastic spot for breakfast or lunch! There aren't many restaurants left where the owner actively circulates and checks in on guests. You'll enjoy not only first-class service but also phenomenal food. I almost hesitate to give such a glowing review because I know how popular this place is going to become!

Absolutely loved having a quick lunch with my husband at this very quaint cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is full of all kinds of deli favorites. My favorite part and I wish I had taken a picture of it was the back of the menu which has the history of Lakeview Park. The restaurant is also adorned with Lakeview Park memorabilia. View menu

This restaurant is the best in the area! They offer fantastic options, especially for those with gluten intolerance like myself. The staff is incredibly accommodating, and the owner is always welcoming and present on the floor. My pick-up orders are always hot, and the service is fast. I can't recommend them highly enough! Even if I'm not working nearby, I'd gladly drive the 20 minutes just to enjoy dinner here. Highly recommended!

So-so. Not for me. Butter was really margarine. Maple syrup was really table syrup. I can't stand margarine or fake maple syrup so this ruined my breakfast experience. My party ordered three different types of waffles and the ram special, which includes pancakes, and there were no issues with these. Other issues worth noting: home fries were nearly burnt on one side, seemingly on purpose, because 3/4 of the home fries were not crispy at all. Sausage tasted off, like imitation meat, or precooked microwavable meat or possibly even turkey, rather than traditional pork sausage.

Liked the Mexico City Omelette Special so much, I ordered it again! Really hope they add it to the regular menu. Great choice, great taste, great value, great atmosphere. A great place! Sooo is pleased to see new property in this excellent location. I'm looking forward to eating out. Definitely a winner for breakfast, brunch or lunch! UPDATE: 4 years since this review, and MAN really did the owners a great job... even a pandemic. IMPRESSIVE! What a great place for the community reigns, inside.
