"We spent nearly two hours there in total. It took 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive, 25 minutes to take our food order, and over 45 minutes for the food to be served. We had asked for one item to be prioritized as the person needed to leave for work, but even that took an additional 20 minutes. The cream chipped beef was unexpectedly sweet, which was off-putting, while the chocolate chip pancakes were the only redeeming part of the meal, though they are typically easy to get right.
The owner or manager seemed unable to simply remove the missing items from our bill, choosing instead to apply a discount that reflected the equivalent amount. This left me wondering whether there was a lack of understanding of their system or if there was something else amiss. Perhaps the difficulties we faced were due to it being Father's Day, but regardless, this experience has made it clear that this is not a place I would choose to revisit."
