"Came here for lunch. Took 35 minutes for our cheese bread and 1 hour for our meal, 2 sandwiches. Server didn 't even check in with us or say something like sorry for the wait . Not cool!! Cheese bread only takes 10 minute to make. An hour later, our food came. I 'm a 22% tipper, I wasn 't going to give a tip but I was thinking about the helpers. it 's my first time to give 10% tip, I feel bad but I was hangry also for the bad service. I would give 4 stars for the food."

"I've lived in the area for nearly three years, but I only tried DaVinci for the first time last week. My husband and I were planning a small gathering for our gender reveal and wanted to have hero sandwiches while also trying a new place. Our neighbors and a coworker from the area recommended DaVinci, so we decided to give it a go. Before making our order, we sampled two different chicken cutlet sandwiches to see if we wanted them to cater our event. The sandwiches were delicious—the chicken was thin, tender, and had a very homemade flavor. For our party, we ordered an Italian hero and a chicken cutlet hero, which came with coleslaw, macaroni salad, and potato salad. Everything was tasty, and we received many compliments from our guests. The balsamic dressing that accompanies the sandwiches really elevates the flavor. I will definitely be returning for food in the future!"

"Everything about this place is phenomenal. The food is to die for. The people that work there are so kind. The atmosphere is welcoming. And price is reasonable. The only downside is parking is a bit tight but there is parking option down the road."

"We chose Jimmy G's for our New Year’s Eve dinner and it did not disappoint. We were seated quickly and received prompt service, although we had a brief wait to place our wine and meal orders. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, helping us with our wine selection and meal choices. The dinner itself was delightful; all the dishes were excellent, particularly the surf and turf, Brussels sprouts, and potatoes—the potatoes were divine! We decided to share a crème brûlée for dessert. Although it took a while to arrive, our attentive server personally delivered it and checked in to ensure we were enjoying our evening. Overall, the service was great. It would have been outstanding if we hadn't experienced some delays, but since we were in no rush, everything turned out to be just fine."

"I've visited this restaurant half a dozen times, so that shows how much I enjoy it as a repeat customer. However, tonight's experience was not up to par. Our server described the Crispy Cauliflower as fried, and we were expecting something similar to cauliflower poppers, but what we received was sautéed instead. It was disappointing. We requested a switch to fries, which they accommodated, but it came a bit late in the meal. The hummus dishes we ordered, which are usually delicious, didn't live up to our expectations as repeat customers. The falafel was also disappointing. Despite this, we plan to return, hoping that tonight was just an off night for them. This place is popular for good reason, and the owner is always friendly and attentive."

"The ownership has recently changed, but the fantastic management and staff remain. I’m pleased to recommend this charming little establishment. There’s plenty of room to enjoy a drink, work remotely, meet with friends, and of course, dine. They offer a wide variety of freshly made salads, sandwiches, soups, burgers, and a daily special. Whether you're looking for healthy, deli-style, vegan, or gourmet options, you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy. One of my personal favorites is the lasagna. While it’s not the cheapest option, the incredibly friendly staff and the high-quality ingredients make it well worth it. #SupportLocalBusiness"

"we sat on a rectangle on the floor in a area that had only some other occupied tables. it was a Saturday night in something not very busy at all. Nevertheless, no one came by for at least minutes. When the waiter arrived, he took my drink order and then disappeared a few minutes. we were flying at this point. we mentioned the hostess who we left because we were basically ignored and their only answers were oh, wow. I'm sorry. no offer to fix the situation or to put us elsewhere. later in the night, another member of the waiter saw us that we have thrived the road behind the building after the other. she recognized us and apologised for the misunderstanding. good, but too little, too late. will never go there again, but as I know they will close in january. I can see why!"

"Went for Downtown Dining Week. This restaurant was on the $35 list, however service was significantly below that level. There was a long wait between courses, but plates were not cleared off the table until the next course arrived. Our server appeared very disinterested in our table. It also took a long time for drink orders to be delivered. New silverware was not provided and I was explicitly asked to remove my fork from the plate so the server could clear the plate. The food was decent to good, but nothing special. None of these issues would be that bad had they not all occurred or had the restaurant been on the $25 list instead."

"I really like the Burntwood Tavern but I will not return to this location. We had a terrible experience. They were out of MULTIPLE item! Like a shocking number. There are 2 steaks on the menu and they were out of one. Out of Diet Coke, various appetizers, several main dishes (chicken parm, French dip, steak frites). We were a party of 7. Four people got their meals and the others came 15 minutes later. I ordered a salad from with no cheese. When the 2nd round of meals came out the server said they had to remake my salad because they put cheese on it. At that point I said to just forget it. So I had no meal. One person in the party ordered a burger with no cheese and they put cheese on it. He just ate it. Just issue after issue. Really a huge disappointment."

"Surprisingly nice place. I was impressed by their miso-broth ramen and a rice bowl that was wrapped in a nori. Maguro was dope, but slightly over-salted. Tonchin salad was a good choice too. Overall, the food was elite level. Their Chef pays attention. Pls come alone and don’t tell your friends about it, so that it does not get overhyped and we can enjoy it without huge lines"

"The service and ambiance here was excellent. The menu was very well rounded. We got filet mignon and Royal Red Shrimp to share with salads, sauteed garlic mushrooms and baked potato. There were baskets of a variety of breads and two kinds of butter. Truffles were provided at the end of the meal. It was a beautiful dining experience!"

"The atmosphere is always great, the building has that old town feel without the gross. The bathroom is updated which is always good. The staff is friendly and helpful. I don't think we've ever had a server we didn't like. The food is so good. I typically get the same dish (blackened Chicken Alfredo) which is amazing but my husband gets a variety of dishes and can never decide what to get."

"Amazing!!! The atmosphere is so fun and inviting. The food is insanely delicious, a must in Phoenix. The Ostia salad was good, probably will try something different next time but still really awesome. The burratta was amazing and so fresh to start and definitely enough to share with 4 people. The gnocchetti so formaggi was the best gnocchi I’ve had in the US. It’s INSANE. Top 3 best dishes I’ve had in years. The tartufata pizza was good, my only complaint was the pizza was a little soggy but the flavors were still great. Highly recommend!"

"Earned some favor with the charm, but it fell short on execution. This old timey feeling corner store has charm and looks like the perfect neighborhood hidden gem. I was in the area and had heard about it, so stopped in for a quick lunch. Service was fast and friendly. I ate a baked potato with brisket, which unfortunately was dry and had next to no bark or evidence of much seasoning. There was a modest smoke flavor but that was about it. I was disappointed in the brisket, especially based on their description and price. I did hear about their breakfast tacos, so I intend to come back and give them another shot for breakfast and coffee."

"the bar was a little slow, but unlike the eternal one was incredible. we have calamari, salmon and chicken cabatta sandwich. the best laugh I've had for a long time. the side grains and maissalat were fantastic. the smoked old fashion was great. can not wait to go back!"
