"Went for restaurant week and my only complaint was that they served butter pecan ice cream with the caramel cake even though the menu says it's served with cinnamon ice cream. They made this substitution without asking anyone in our party if they had a nut allergy, which should NEVER happen. The lead chef or their representative needs to communicate with the customers to ensure their safety is the number one priority."

"We had a wonderful dinner with a group of ten people. When I booked my reservation for outside, it wasn’t clear that meant sitting at tables on the public sidewalk. Having never been there before I assumed their outdoor dining was on a private patio. It worked out and we had a great time, but had I known that I might have requested tables inside. Regardless, the food and service was excellent!"

"I had made a reservation for 7:30. It was my son's birthday. We also stayed at the River Crab hotel there . We were seated at 7:45 At 8:05 No one still had come to.our table. Had to ask for water and 8:15 a boy brought us water and said he would send over a waitress. 8:30 still no waitress Got up and told the hostess to please send a waitress. 8 :40 still no one. Every waitress passed out table like we were not even there. I.was so upset that we got up and left the restaurant and went somewhere else.to eat. There were 4 of us and my son's birthday was totally ruined!!!!!. I have never in my life treated so poorly at a restaurant. I will be sure to tell my friends of the horrible service we received. NO EXCUSE FOR THIS KIND OF SERVICE!!!!!!!!!"

"This was my 2nd time and I loved it even more. Took the whole family for my sister's birthday. We had the pizza that was out of this world, great crust. Gnocchi, ravioli ... everything is so fresh and delicious. John, the owner, is a real gentleman and knows how to take care of his customers and the server we had that evening. I never felt rushed and could just enjoy the atmosphere and the great food. I highly recommend this restaurant. We look forward to a reunion."

"good food, but the service was terrible. looked at the bar because it was overcrowded and after 15 min the server go over us and not say a word, we had to ask for our menus. then lasted another 15 minutes to ask someone to take our order, as no one came to us. It was as if you were pulling teeth to pick someone who cares about us, and every worker gave us a grumping what we needed. the host has taken care of our order as she seemed to be a woman, the poor woman needs better staff. we gave her our tipp. we will not come back"

"The ambience is great! I've never been to Baldwin Park, but I really liked the area. I went to Osprey yesterday with my wife on a date night. Our server was very sweet and bubbly. We first had the Calamari with the citrus aioli, and that was very delicious. We started with the peims. They were very tasteful and only needed some salt and lemon. For Entrée I had the pork chop that was delightful and filled. My wife had the fish and chips. The dough was great, but the fish just needed a little more season. The chips were amazing. At the end we had the carrot cake, which was beautiful, moist and in a good way dense. It went with some ice cream and canned walnuts. Overall my experience was divine last night! would recommend"

"I just picked up the chicken and waffles after seeing great reviews about the chicken. I have to say, the chicken is among the best I’ve had in a long time—I’ll definitely be back for it! It's fresh, well-seasoned, and the homemade buffalo sauce pairs perfectly with it. However, I was disappointed by the cold, hard waffles. I wasn’t expecting that at all; I wanted to dip them in syrup and enjoy them with the delicious chicken. Fresh waffles alongside this chicken would have truly made my day, but just like the weather today, it was cold."

"The food and atmosphere was awesome. Price reflect the great quality of food. We did have one issue. My girlfriend ordered the Sauted Brussel Sprouts without the Almonds (as she has a nut allergy) and it came with the almonds. The waitress wS really great on handling it. The manager came over as well yo profusely apologize. They remade the whole meal to go and compped the desert. They did well. The crusted Seabass was delicious, my Red Wine Braised Beef Ribs melted in my mouth. Dietary restrictions: Making the Sauted Brussel Sprouts without almonds."

"Really cozy diner vibe but with a fresh twist. The space feels nostalgic, kind of like the place where people used to just to hang out, but modern. It has a full bar, solid cocktail selection, and even DJs apparently. There are TVs and nice outdoor areas. We sat inside but still had a nice chill time for a Tuesday night. We tried the chimichurri steak and chicken and also ordered the chicken gyro (both pretty good). The drink was delicious, and the service was top notch. Our server, Mo, was super friendly and attentive the whole time. Plenty of free parking. Definitely planning to come back. "The ambiance is beautiful and very conducive to having a conversation. And of course, if you are seeing a performance at the Fox, the location is perfect! I can only comment on their brunch buffet. Because of the ambiance location, I would like to go back when I can order off the menu but not for the buffet. We did not know when we made our reservation that mealtime before Fox matinee’s are buffet only. At first look, it looked like we were going to be in for a real treat! The buffet was visually beautiful! The food that was supposed to be hot was nearly ice cold and the food that was supposed to be cold was room temperature. I chose pancakes at one point because I saw a staff member just bringing them out and I really wanted something hot and fresh (I assumed they were just made), but they were cold and crunchy. Didn’t even know a pancake could become crunchy?.? The scrambled eggs were ice cold and I think from powdered eggs. I enjoyed the salad bar portion but not worth"

I informed her about the number of people in my party and mentioned that I had joined the Yelp waitlist, but I wasn't sure if the timing had passed. She responded with a blank stare and seemed distracted. I'm unsure if she was unfamiliar with the system or simply uninterested in assisting a Black patron. Fortunately, another host approached with a smile, asked for my name, found our reservation on the waitlist, and led us to our table. However, our server was also initially unwelcoming, though she gradually warmed up to us. It made me wonder: Are Black guests not welcomed here? **Food:** The food was outstanding. Everything we tried, from the French toast to the waffles and bacon, was delicious. **Menu:** I wish the menu included a description of the French toast; while the pancakes had descriptions, the French toast did not. When I inquired about it, the waitress looked at us as if we should already know. **Suggestions:** I recommend diversity training for the staff to ensure that all guests feel welcome. Additionally, adding descriptions for the French toast on the menu would enhance the dining experience."

"Decided to stop because they had music outside on Sunday. Went inside first to get some lunch and a beer. Boneless bites were rubbery and had no sauce on them. Tasted like chicken dipped in flour and fried, absolutely no flavor. I got hot honey garlic no flavor at all, didn’t even see any garlic. Bone in wings were less then average at best. Asked for side of hot sauce so maybe I could dip them and taste something and apparently the bartender Sam was too busy chatting with the 5 patrons inside to bother, she totally forgot. Never got an itemized bill and was definitely overcharged. Outside was pretty cool and recently redone, one man band was really good, unfortunately my trip inside ruined it for me. Do not recommend and I will definitely not return, plenty of better places to spend your money."
