"Bree ordered the Prime Ribeye, which came with maplewood smoked bacon and a mushroom demi-glace, while I had the Braised Short Ribs served in a rich Guinness pan jus. Both dishes were accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. We also shared a delicious four-cheese macaroni with andouille sausage. We enjoyed refreshing summer fruit cocktails and some excellent local beer. We decided to try this place on a whim, and we absolutely loved it! The food was incredible, bringing back the flavors of my childhood in a refined way. I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu. Our waitress was friendly and very knowledgeable, and the beer selection was outstanding. The cocktails were also packed with flavor!"

"I enjoyed my time here and I had a good meal. My server was very friendly and helpful with her suggestions. I was served water right away and my server took my order after giving me some time to review the menu. After I ordered the baked brie as an appetizer and was brought , my wait time increased. I didn't have to wait long for my appetizer, but, my main course took a little while. I think I have been to so many restaurants where they keep checking on you, having an uninterrupted meal seams different. I had the Tournados Au Poivre, well done, with pesto pasta and green beans. It was good! Dessert was the seasonal special, pumpkin and sweet potato pastry with cinnamon and caramel drizzle with ice-cream, whipped cream and strawberries, with coffee. Very good ! I recommend this restaurant. Just be aware you may get sticker shock on prices, but, this is not a Applebee's: . I gave five s because a fellow patron began to choke on her food and the hostess performed the Heimlich and saved the woman's life. That is the first that has happened while I was eating. Great job ! The event happened and was over quickly. Wifi available."

"We absolutely loved everything about this restaurant! I usually avoid ordering meat dishes because I've been let down in the past. However, last night I decided to try the short ribs stroganoff, and I finished the entire plate—it was so delicious that I almost wanted to lick it clean! My partner and son had pancakes, and of course, they were excellent too. We will definitely be back. Our server was fantastic!"

"I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Terra this weekend when a group of us went for brunch. In this part of NYC, many restaurants don't put in much effort, resulting in low standards for food and service. Despite this, they manage to stay in business because there aren't many other options. I really enjoyed the food, especially the steak eggs benedict, which was cooked perfectly to order (medium rare). This is a concept that nearby restaurants seem to struggle with, but Terra nailed it. The eggs were perfectly poached, and everyone in our group seemed to enjoy their meals. The smoothies were also a hit, packing a flavorful punch. I plan on returning for dinner and so far, I am very impressed. Terra is truly in a league of its own in south Brooklyn."

"Trebeache is one of our local favorites. The food and service are usually very good to exceptional. On Sunday, Oct, Trebeache was sponsoring a Sunday brunch as part of a Blue Crab Fest The food and menu items were good but the service was exceptionally slow and not up to the normal standard. They simply did not have enough wait staff on for this busy event. Again, that is very unusual for this solid restaurant. We talked to the manager and he apologized for what he knew was slow service and some cold food items that made their way to the table. We will return again. We consider this an anomaly. Trebeache is a place that we really enjoy"

"Kincaid's never disappoints us. We celebrated a birthday dinner (adult) this week and the food was delicious. The crab-artichoke appetizer is amazing, this time we tried the maple-beet salad for the first time and split the salad so that both of us could try it without reaching over each other, and we were pleasantly surprised. Seafood fetuccini is one of our favorites and this time I tried the blackened halibut. I would say that it seemed overcooked but still delicious. They have better items on their menu IMHO. Key lime pie for dessert, that's our favorite."

"Many vegan dedicated options on menu, see pictures. Others can be made vegan. What I like most about these places is the tolerance of others and the joy orioles get making others happy. My server was great and willing to give me extra information answering my many questions. My companion an omnivore had HUEVOS MOTULEÑOS while I had Vegan Buffalo Drummies and VEGAN CITRUS SHORT RIB BAHN MI. The dummies were enough for me and I to the Bahn Mi home. Both were very good. Can’t wait to go again."

"We made reservations to experience the veuve clicquot event and it was not the experience I had before at other restaurants. We ordered a bottle and couldn’t get the clicquot bucket or cups that everyone had who ordered a bottle. The event was very unorganized and couldn’t serve everyone properly which was a bummer. The food was ok nothing to rave about. The only thing we did enjoy was the entertainment, he was so good."

"Marco’s is our favorite spot to stop with our dog for a delicious meal at any time of day. The Huevos Rancheros are fantastic, but the real highlight is the dinner specials. While the specials are a bit pricier than the usual entrees—expect to spend at least $20 per person—they are absolutely worth it. Today, we enjoyed the cattle short ribs along with fish and chips, and surprisingly, the fish outshone many we’ve had in other regions this season. Our server, Mariana, was AMAZING—I can't say enough good things about her. She even brought our pup some water and was attentive to everything else we needed. Her wonderful service and warm personality truly made our experience even more special."

"We dined on the patio it was hot but they had the fans blasting. It was dark outside so we couldn't see much of the view but what I saw was the golfing putt putt greens and some building but nothing lovely at all. The staff was friendly and nice. They let us stay late to enjoy ourselves bc we came late at 9pm (kitchen and bar last call is 9:45pm). Food was really good. I had the curry halibut and shared the ceviche (big slices instead of chunks) and the brussel sprouts. You must get the sprouts! The wine was ok. We enjoyed our evening there."

"Why make a reservation when they do not read it? Requested a window table, with two open window table, were seated on upper tier. Included information that it was a special occasion- then they asked if it was a special occasion....why provide that info if no one reads it. My scallops were oily and over cooked. My veggies were held in the warmer too long, as it was mushy red peppers, peas, and onions. Service and food are not what it used to be. View is still great..."

"Eiren my server was welcoming from the moment I walked in the place. He had a pleasant smile and said that I could sit any where I liked since the restaurant wasn't that busy. I had a living social voucher to help cut the cost of my expense. I started out with the Paradise salad which was mixed greens, beets, apples, goat cheese and walnuts. They didn't have wings so I order this fried potato balls filled with pork. Last but not least I ordered a turkey burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. The portion size just enough. I got to bring home a doggy bag and have a nice lunch for tomorrow. Dining points, discount and doggy bag. Who could ask for anything more?"

"EMIE'S RESTAURANT is a busy eatery that is well-known for it's breakfast menu. We went in the evening to try their Mediterranean vegan/conventional menu. Emle's food is light, not oily, salty, or saucy. Our server, Omer, did an excellent job explaining each dish. As an appetizer, we ordered the breaded and fried portobello mushrooms. It was served with a lovely garlic sauce. All four of us enjoy this vegan specialty. I found the vegan vegetable plate to be ample and satisfying. The house-made pita, served with the plate, is delicious. The other guests also enjoyed their meals, however, one guest found the lobster risotto too rich. One caution: the bread dip cantains cheese and is therefore not vegan. There where no vegan desserts on the menu. Covid masks are required for entry. UPDATE: Sam, the new owner, has polished the menu. Not a lot was changed. There's a new chef. Our meals tasted a smidgen better. Sam stopped at our table to make sure everything was fine. It was. We have returned several times since this review was first published. Emie's new chef and Sam have never disappointed. Both patio and restaurant seating are available. Emle's is near California State University. Students and faculty with ID cards, are offered a discount. On Sunday, Monday, and Thursday alcohol drinks are half price. Parking, including wheelchair parking, is free and easy. Everything else, including the neutral-gender bathroom, is wheelchair accessible."

"we went to their restaurant in playa del rey and eating was amazing, the service was abominable and we wrote an evaluation and they reacted by giving us a gift certificate that we used in the glendale restaurant and we will continue to come back because the service was great the eating was great all there. the restaurant playa delray is also located outside the parking space, which is approximately an angle of 30 degrees from the rear to the front. so every table is slanted downhill, it is really a strange set up and not quite comfortable in the opposite to glendale, which is amazing."

"Great cacio e pepe! Really Roman style from Italy! The portions for pasta were a true primi first course the way they are in Italy. The food is D.O.C from italy as well. Pasta could have been a bit more al dente for me and courses should have been served slower. Price point is great as is service."

"The noise level was deafening. Conversation with my friends was impossible. Service was wanting. One man seemed in charge of the dining room and the outdoor cafe. I wasn't quite ready to order when he came to take our order (I'd arrived late because of rain). He remarked that this was his second visit to the table. We waited minutes for our dinners to arrive. We had to tell the server we had theater tickets and needed to get going. My dinner, lemon chicken, was fine (choices on the menu are unimaginative and not very French). I had been looking forward to catching up with my friends' news; I hadn't seen them for a while. We could scarcely hear each other across a small table. I won't be returning."

"We used to dine at Stephanie's frequently when we lived in Boston over ten years ago. We recently revisited the restaurant after all this time, only to find that it has turned into a typical tourist trap. The food was subpar and the service was unsatisfactory. Our server wrongly accused us of ordering incorrectly on two separate occasions, leading us to correct what was brought to our table. The clam chowder seemed stale and tasted like it had been left under a heat lamp for too long. Additionally, our over-easy egg had raw egg white all over the plate, and the waiter insisted that was how we requested it. The interior of the restaurant was rundown, dated, and dimly lit, with music more suitable for a frat party than a dining establishment. It was, without a doubt, the most disappointing meal we had during our entire week, which even included a revolting sandwich from a rest area on the Mass Pike."

"Always liked this restaurant until tonight. Hope it was either a different chef or just an off night. The wine I always drink did not taste right, but they replaces. The special soup was gazpacho. I was leery when they brought it to me in a HUGE bowl. Was the worst I have ever had. Just like some veggies food processed into V8 juice. Exchanged for beet salad which was very good. Had the chicken; way overly salty and a very strange thick au jus . The best was the chocolate cake although we had to wait a long time to get decaf. Will try once more and hope it returns to the likable place we would eat at."

"First time patron. Came for their Thanksgiving Day meal special. The food was delicious, amply portioned, and good value for the money. Debbie was our waitress, and she was very pleasant, funny, and played along with our party's quirky antics. I will certainly be returning to this restaurant in the future as a favorite."
