"This place has declined so much it 's devastating. But before I go in let me say my server Deanna was absolutely the best. Might be the only saving grace why I would return. My OVERPRICED half crab was not good (and I 'm being nice I have other words I want to use) it was dry and tasted old almost like the freezer, and some kind of artificial oil? I 'm not sure it just had this awful back taste after taste I can 't place. Just unappetizing and gross. My rib eye which looked to have been cut by a dog or chewed on was over cooked and burnt on the ends and while smothered in the horrendously tangy weird thick pan sauce was flavorless. Odd, right? The spinach was fabulous as always. And the service was great. Unfortunately this is not the food I remember at deadfish nor the food you drive from far away places to come eat or spend insane amounts of money on. Also the fact that they charge for bread is disheartening especially if you are having drinks and ordering food. And the bread is soooooo hard lately"

We visit MRKT primarily for the ribeye steak which is to die for, while the ambience made us feel comfortable and welcome, enhancing our overall dining experience as we celebrated our 59th Wedding Anniversary."

"I started with the Abalone Appetizer, which is incredible. It features sliced abalone served with three of Roger's signature sauces, alongside an abalone and crab salad. Previously, the salad was presented in a real abalone shell, but now it's served in a simple glass bowl. My wife ordered oysters, and they served us five delicious oysters with a sauce on the side. We both loved them. For my main course, I had the Sashimi Deluxe, while my wife enjoyed the Two Thumbs Up Roll along with a spicy tuna and avocado roll, opting for brown sushi rice. The sashimi is always fresh, although the selection lacks some unique items you might find at other sushi bars, like ark shell, squid, surf clam, octopus, or shiso leaves. I've tried the hibachi a few times, and it meets expectations, but I often feel rushed at the hibachi grill. It’s best not to order starters unless your whole group occupies the grill. Roger truly excels in creating wonderful sauces for his dishes, and I would love to see him introduce some new flavors in the future."

"Really enjoyed our dinner here. Great view and there is ample outdoor and indoor seating. We had the sizzling crab/shrimp, salmon, seabass, caesar salad, cheesecake and the crunch cake. We ordered the bread also. All were very good. My only complaint is there were of us and they seated us at a round table which was too small and couldn't hold all of the platters and dishes. We had to have food delivered in shifts; they had to take some dishes away before they could put anything else on the table. This table was really for people. Other than the table' issue this was a lovely experience and we will be back."

"We had reservations at another place which had to close unexpectedly due to plumbing problems I found The Yard on a web search and made a last minute reservation. We were obviously not the only party to do that as the restaurant suddenly became very busy with other theater goers. The staff at The Yard stepped up quickly to accommodate everyone who needed to get out in time for a show. The food was very good although I found the crabcake to be subpar for a Maryland restaurant. Flavor was good with very little filler but it was over cooked I believe baked or broiled but I did not verify) to the point of developing a dark,crunchy crust to the patty which was unexpected. The salads were fresh and crisp. Two in our party got the burger and said it was very good. Overall, it was very good and I would go back."

"The staff was very attentive. The food was outstanding. We started with Truffle Wontons and Jenny's Salad. Entrees were Beef Bourguignon and Halibut. For dessert, we chose Bananas Foster Bread Pudding. As others have commented, the noise level was high, which made it difficult to have a conversation. Other than that, my husband and I agree this was the best meal we have ever had! We highly recommend Atlas Fare. We look forward to our next visit."

"This restaurant was not a good choice for a Thanksgiving meal. Despite making a reservation weeks in advance to ensure they were prepared for ADA accommodations for our family members in wheelchairs, we were seated in a noisy and high-traffic area with other diners and Festival of Trees attendees. The room was cold, despite a fireplace that seemed to be more for aesthetics than warmth. By 5 pm, the food was running low and the server was picking white meat off the bone to serve to guests, leaving us without turkey on Thanksgiving. The hot dishes were cold and there wasn't much left. Even when they replenished the food, it was quickly gone by the time we returned from the lobby area. We were able to get hot waffles and omelettes from the breakfast area, which was a saving grace. Our server Shelby was fantastic and provided excellent service, as did the breakfast chef. Unfortunately, the $250 dinner for four was not worth it."

"Good food and good service overall but terrible managment! For the price of the steaks and sides, you would expect a bit more, but everything was prepared well and came out hot. Dessert was another stoy the brownie was burnt and dry. Skip dessert. Ambience a nice spot for dinner but TOO LOUD WITH LIVE MUSIC. We complained (and were told people often complain) that the live music was way too loud. Apparently this is a common complaint and the managment refuses to ask for the volume to be turned down. If we choose to return, I will be asking first about music and then making my dining decision."

"My apologies but this was a-bit low on my scale for sushi. I wasn't a fan of the seating because everyones knees could touch the plates. The interior was nice and dark how i like it, but something about the choice in lighting felt odd. For the food. The Tuna tartare had wayyy too many tomatoes that are very overpowering to begin with which made me feel like i was eating a bowl of tomatoes and chips. The ribs were best thing on the table but heavily relied on the sauce and were not seasoned underneath it at all. They were very tender, but gave me the feeling they were not fresh. I was truly not a fan of the melted cheese roll. I have never had nor seen a roll like that, but the concept is interesting however the flavor was bland and oily from the cheese. The rolls in total looked amazing but were honestly a bit underwhelming and the only one i liked was drenched in sauce (helped it alot) Also waffle fries on a sushi place menu confused me a bit i wont say a solid 3 but a 2.7 suffices"

"We used the Prix Fixe Valentine dinner last night. The selection of foods was not the usual fare you see in most places. It was upscale and perfectly presented and prepared. Four complete courses and started with a selection of two cocktails. Three options for starters, three choices for the first course, three choices for the main course and two dessert options. I wish we had brought a third person to order and share EVERYTHING. My husband and I have ordered various decisions, and each of us would have been sworn and still be as happy. The portions were generous, but with enough time to enjoy them without feeling hastened. The wine selection was good, and since the glass my husband asked was the last in a bottle and not full of it composed it and brought a complete glass of a similar variety at the same time. It was clear that the business (including the takeover) was moderate, but the staff was under pressure. It was always one of our favorite restaurants and last night they screamed!"

"The food was delicious, and the service was excellent! The menu may be simple, but it's really satisfying. I had the shrimp po' boy sandwich with mild sauce, which had just the right amount of spice for me. My husband ordered the whiting and shrimp dinner with collard greens, and he thought the greens were exceptional. I paired my sandwich with fries, which were also quite tasty. They serve Pepsi products with crushed ice, and the portion sizes are generous given the price. The dining area was clean and well-lit. It wasn't overly crowded, but there was a consistent stream of customers on Saturday night. I will definitely be back! If you love shrimp and lightly breaded fried fish, as well as jumbo shrimp and fillets, this is a wonderful place. Highly recommended—5 stars!"

"Outstanding from salads to desserts. We started with the signature salad that had chunks of brie and a Caesar salad. For entrees the lamb was so tender it literally did not need a knife and the duck breast was well smoked. The apple pie was wow! Crust must have been pure butter. The server even let us taste a bottle of wine beforehand that she recommended because ours was not available. This is our new place for upscale dining in Spokane."

"This was our second visit, with a group of seven, including two kids, and the food was just as amazing as last time! The chef really did a great job. I'm still giving it a five-star rating! However, I was surprised to see that our bill already included a 20% tip. I prefer to choose how much to tip myself, but since I added an extra amount, it ended up being quite substantial. When I called back to discuss it, the woman on the line wasn't very friendly. I understand that it can be frustrating, especially since we were informed that a mandatory tip applies when there are more than six people. In total, we ended up paying nearly $100 just in tips. While I won't follow up today, it would have been helpful to know ahead of time that gratuity was included, or at least to be advised not to tip twice. Despite our love for the food and atmosphere, there are several other great seafood restaurants in the area, and we may choose to go to them in the future."

"Jekyll Hyde is a sports bar, which was FILLED with Steeler's fans watching the game. So we were directed to the other half of the restaurant, which was empty and set up for their weekly ballroom dance club meeting, which meant we had 1 hour to eat before the dancers arrived. I ordered a Manhattan and was given literally a shot's worth of Maker's Mark. But after that the evening went pretty well. The food was very tasty; I had a burger and it was excellent, my husband's fish chips was all fish and seasoned perfectly and the fries were yummy! Pros: food was good and the staff was friendly. Would definitely be a fun place to watch a game. Cons: leave your fancy drink orders at home and expect big sports (and dancing) on a Saturday night."
