"I really like the pastries from this bakery. I called this morning to place an order for tomorrow and the person who answered the phone asked me what time I 'd be in and I said between and he cut me off and said like a tired old man No no no! No in between. We are very busy . So I was going to try to give him an exact time when I realized how rude he was. I just cancelled my order. This bakery is way too busy to hold an order that I am willing to pay for up front, so that I can pick it up at my convenience. They take walk in customers so I don 't know why he was so put out by my order."

"I had heard some good things about this place for breakfast (which by the way is one of my favorite meals) so we went there today to try it.This place did not disappoint- the staff was friendly and attentive. They have a nice selection of options. I ordered off the 55+ menu (a few less options but still several choices).We both ordered the Denver Omelette with Country Potatoes (which are thin sliced potatoes but very tasty). My wife had this served with their freshly made Biscuit served with butter and homemade jam (or gravy if you prefer). I tried a bite of her biscuit very good and fluffy. I had a pancake with mine.I included some pictures but I forgot to take the pictures when the meal was served, so the shot of my breakfast and biscuit are partially eaten."

"First time in this shop, first thing I notice is their little seating area and all the yummy treats along the wall. Very nicely presented.The case to the left filled with these beautiful creations.Happy Friday to me with these little tasty treats.The Raspberry and the Apricot folder overs are flakey and delightful. I’m not one for rose flavor, however I thought I’d try it. The Rose Mousse Eclair is light and mousse is light. Again I’m not one for rose flavors, but this was good.Nice people!"

"I had the crab omelette for brunch and it was fantastic. I returned the next day for lunch and tried the fish and chips, which were just okay - nothing really stood out in terms of flavor, quite plain and bland. The service on both occasions was friendly and quick. The restaurant offered a lovely view of the bay."

"Did not live up to expectations. Granted my experience was a Thursday night late booking (8 pm , the inside, small area (ore like bistro lounge that dinning room was deserted. There were some groups still in the outside area and it appeared that guitarist and keyboardist were in midst of packing up (special occasion or regularly scheduled early evening live music? . Even though OT booking allowed for 8 pm booking, greeter/hostess had to confirm kitchen had not shut down for the night it had not, provided I ordered promptly. My starter of crab cakes was excellent moist, more crab than cake, with julien of fresh corn kernels, finely chopped cucumber and green peppers and accompanied by a small green salad with red and yellow cherry tomatoes. Very nice indeed. My main was steak frites which was unexceptional in every way but made tolerable by an acceptable Côtés du Rhône. All in all, too pricey for quality delivered."

"Let me start by saying my family has been coming here maybe 2-3 times a week but my mother went into Abi’s Diner for Mother’s Day only to be treated in such a horrible way. There was confusion when it came to what she ordered. The man seating was incredibly rude. The boss refused to come out to explain to her how to order what she originally wanted. The man seating people proceeded to speak poorly about my mother to the coworkers. This place has lost the business of 8 people for life. Never again. My mother has been so sad since the whole experience. Currently sitting here at the kitchen table crying once again feeling less than what she is because of the terrible customer service. Never again."

"Went here with friends! Cool atmosphere, really busy spot!I got 2 stack pancakes and a side of hashbrowns. Pancakes were large and good but not surprised as pancakes aren’t something any business should be messing up anyway.Hashbrown was OK. I probably wouldnt order them again but it was a nice hefty portion for like $8.Overall, the food was good, I would go back for sure with some friends.Our food came quickly as well, which I was surprised with because we did have a group of 7 and so usually food comes out slowly with larger groups but nope we got it in like 10 minutes.Waitress was really nice and friendly and went out of her way to provide extra plates and silverware to help cut a cake we bought from a bakery and also took pictures of the group.Would recommend!"

"lulu’s a local richmond beauty of a restaurant. a quiet place from outside, but a busy, crowded place from inside. go here without reservation and they may have to wait a long time. book their table. food eat here is the reason why people flock to this place. each morsel is so tasteful and ingenious that they would enjoy every moment here. must trys br/>Shrimp and stone ground pimento grits beautiful garnels served with kartoffels and omlette.Chicken and biscuit Fried chicken served with buttermilk biscuits and salted vegetables. the biscuit chicken combination is a must try to be safe.Corned bark meat fluffy soft omlette served with small pieces of soft bark pieces sawed in a tasty sauce with small potato pieces.Red velvet Waffle Search soft red coloured red red red red-velvet with maple syrup, strawberry syrup, whipped cream. a particular one must try if it is at Lulu's. ambience ambiente. comfortable seating. but it was fairly crowded and therefore loud with people who are all talking around them. the personal is very warm and hospitable. value for money food is correct, not too expensive. all good for it!"

"We arrived at 6:30 for our reservation only to be told that all reservations had been cancelled because the jazz show that evening was a ticketed event and sold out. Despite them claiming to have called everyone earlier that day to notify them of the cancellation, I did not receive a call. They explained that they couldn't reach me because they didn't have my number, even though it was saved in my Open Table account. Instead of offering alternative accommodations, they simply suggested we try to find a table in the lounge. While I don't mind a ticketed jazz show, it would have been more appropriate to disable reservations for that evening. Furthermore, waiting until the day of the reservation to inform guests of the cancellation is unacceptable. I had booked my reservation two months in advance, giving them ample time to inform me and allow me to make alternative plans. Instead, I had to scramble to find a new place to eat on a Saturday night. While I understand the challenges of running a restaurant with a jazz club, this situation was handled poorly."

"Here is one of the rare places where you can get very authentic Japanese food in NYC! I really love this place especially their motsu nabe and taro croquette, those are amazing! But I have to give them 4stars because the service was mediocre.. they actually threw plates on our table, being super grumpy for some reason.. It was unfortunately very uncomfortable.Also, they started requiring cash tip so you need to bring some with you."

"I called to confirm that they were open for the din. they were. on Sunday at 1:30 o'clock it went straight. perfect stand. clean, how clean can be. only a few customers have been spread. many employees who participate in our needs and more. the service was perfect. very attentive. I know restaurants can't make it with such a low number of customers, but I took advantage of it. my date (a birthday dinner) and I did hands over the service. the meal was perfect, let alone the banana cream for a birthday surprise. not expected overall. so glad that no one sang happy birthday!"

"Garden Crepe was tasty and accompanied by an Asian side salad, but the standout dish was definitely the Mac nuts captain cracking French toast – it was amazing! The Mac nuts banana pancakes were also fantastic and brought back memories of the islands, especially when paired with the Hapua sauce (coconut sauce), which you need to request separately. I had to choose between the Ube and Hawaiian lattes, and I went with the Hawaiian. I immediately regretted that choice, though, as the Hawaiian latte was just average. I can't wait to try the Ube next time. The service was excellent while we enjoyed our meal on the terrace with our dog."

"Okay I want to give this a 2 stars but I’m giving this spot the benefit of the doubt and here’s why: I ordered from the “All day Breakfast section” at 1:30 and the food tasted terrible. Benefit of the doubt is that I haven’t tried it during breakfast hours so I’m not sure if food just tasted stale always or just at that time. However my lady order the pulled pork sandwich and pork n beans and we both gave it 2 of 5 stars. I would avoid going on a Sunday afternoon."

"If you’re looking for the best Thai food in the Woodside and Elmhurst area, you can’t go wrong with Khao Nom – it’s truly top-notch. However, if you venture outside this region, you often end up disappointed and overcharged. That changed when I discovered Bangkok Avenue, which sets the standard for Thai cuisine on this side of Queens. While the prices can be a bit on the higher side, the quality of the food makes it worth every penny. The dishes are absolutely delicious and leave you satisfied without feeling weighed down or greasy. Finding parking can be challenging since it’s located on a busy section of Northern Boulevard, but it’s definitely worth the hassle. The restaurant clearly takes pride in the quality of their food, and it shows in every dish. After trying a series of disappointing Thai places in Long Island, I was thrilled to find this gem. I highly recommend visiting during lunch special hours when you can enjoy a meal for just $12. If you’re dining there, the Khao Soi for $16 is an absolute must-try! I’ve been there a few times for takeout, and I was so eager to dig in that I often forgot to take pictures... that’s how good it is! "

"This was my first time ordering, and I had a couple of issues. They forgot the hash browns and utensils. The omelette was a bit of a disaster, but the flavor was acceptable. The scrambled eggs were actually quite good. The toast was warm, but it didn’t seem properly toasted—more like someone just waved it over the toaster. I might give it another try to see if it’s better."
