"I came in to order some appetizers before my main. I ordered six oysters and shrimp cocktail. When the appetizers arrived The shrimp was super slimy that it left goo and residue on my fingers. The oysters smelled and had foam on top of them and were stuck to the shell. I am never one to not pay for my food . so I asked for my check and discreetly put the food aside. The bartender which mind you was absolutely amazing her name is Kristy. Asked me about my food and why I was not eating it I told her I still wanted to pay for it she said absolutely no and went to the back to help get it addressed and then taken care of. The manager ended up coming out to me. Told me I must not know about eating oysters, shined a flashlight on me and then proceeded to shine a flashlight onto the oysters while tapping them with a knife and telling me that I did not see foam but I was looking at the shell while he was tapping it. Whether or not I have experience in eating oysters(mind you I do) that entire experience was extremely demeaning, disrespectful, and very off-putting. I’m not sure who this manager is but I hope he reads this and thinks definitely how he treats customers. I want to add one last note that again the bartender was absolutely amazing and I’m thankful she was there"

"Stopped here for dinner and tried the bison meatball appetizer. Appetizer could have been warmer and there was way too much demiglaze which made it almost a Demi glaze soup with hidden mushrooms and not very warm meatballs. Decided to try four of their craft cocktails this visit. These were: blueberry basil, blackberry lemon old-fashioned, raspberry fuzzy naval, and the strawberry screwdriver. All we’re good but the one that stood out for me as the best was the blueberry basil. The main course was the fillet medallion trio which tasted good but The size of the medallions compared to the price of the entrée left me feeling hungry. Bread was served before the appetizer with virgin olive oil but I asked for some butter since I just had bread with oil the day before. Waitress was very good and no issues occurred during the service."

"For almost $200 and my crab legs MAYBE were luke warm, my sister sent her Seabass back, was so tough, got salmon took 3 bites and they tossed it flavorless!!! AND NO offer to remove from bill. I'd understand if she ate 1/2 of it. Waiter passed or table at least 3x never stopping to see if everything was ok, wanted anything else. Barely 6 tables being waited on (by at least 3 waiters/waitress) I had to go to host station and get dessert menu myself. Doubtful I'll ever go back. Everything about that place has gone down hill over the years. Heard because of new ownership. Shouldn't matter who owns, for the money I paid, should be exceptional!!!"

"beautiful restaurant! great food! fair prices! but we probably don't go back. I have to say first that they have organized a high time in the hotel so that it is possible to have many regular employees pooled there. our waiter was not very interested in serving. it took him 15 minutes after I asked for a champagne to inform us that they were listed from the 2 champagne wines in the wine menu. the waiter's act came to our table to take our order when I asked about my wein, he somehow shot his head looking at the bar! the bartender finally came to our table, but should the waiter not have known? the bartender also recommended an existing wine. we had to ask for a glass of ice, as the coldest of my man was cold, but no ice. Our turtle cheese cake had very little turtle! mostly only simple cheesecake – good, but not I was introduced. it just seemed like people didn't want to do their jobs!"

"We started off with a very friendly greeting followed by a dirty table where we were told it had been cleaned. It was cleaned again and when we moved the oil decanter, there was a ring of built-up bread crumbs. In a COVID world, that's NOT okay Lobster bisque arrived great tasting had one, one inch piece of lobster and about pieces still very tasty The three cheese ravioli and shrimp Rosa was just okay not a lot of flavor. However, the ribeye was tasty When the bill came, we were charged for a bowl of French onion soup rather than a cup. Not a huge deal until what I can only assume was the manager (did not introduce himself) came over and was very rude when asking whether we had a bowl or a cup This is our second time at Johnny's Italian Steakhouse the first was Valentine's Day many years ago. We hoped our first experience was just a fluke (not a good experience) so we gave it another shot. We won't be back."

"It took 1 hour and a half hours to get our dinners. When we finally did, both our dinners were over cooked, dried out and extremely small portions. I ordered the Mitchell trio; shrimp, salmon and a crab cake. The crab cake was ok, the shrimp on a skewer were hard as a rock and the tiny piece of salmon wasn’t even one bite. My hubby ordered the lobster stuffed cod which was extremely small and terribly dried out. The service overall was terrible. Our waitress was running around all two hours but she only stopped a few times to apologize for how long it was taking to get our food. The restaurant had obviously overbooked. Even the hostess was working the food line and half of the servers were back there trying to get food. So disappointed in our $120. dinner. We will never be back and I’m betting we aren’t the only ones!"

"Not quite up to the quality of Johnny's in Moline IL. I had a lunch chicken and mashed potatoes. I'm very appreciative that there was something at an Italian restaurant that wasn't wheat, but the chicken was very small, very flat, and cooked to being a jerky. Really not edible at all. I ate the potatoes, and the softest side of the chicken. Pretty disappointed with the meal. They brought me a plate, olive oil, and parmesan for bread, but I had told them I could not eat bread, so they thankfully never brought the bread. I think the plate, olive oil, and parmesan looked quite strange sitting there on the table without accompanying bread. That made me chuckle a bit. Dietary restrictions: There are very limited options for those with a wheat intolerance. I'd suggest you view the most updated menu online if you have any issue with wheat."

"The service was AMAZING, the ambiance was excellent, unfortunately my meal was very disappointing. I ordered the filet with lobster meat. It was supposed to come with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies (but I asked for just broccoli instead of mixed veggies). The broccoli cooked by either steaming or boiling but by the time it reached the table it was a cold soggy mess. I also didn’t receive the mashed potatoes that was listed on the menu. At least the steak was good and the lobster was EXCELLENT. The Oreo cookie cheesecake was also a hit at our table. Besides the broccoli and lack of mashed potatoes I wouldn’t change anything."

"Overall, it was a pleasant meal with a fantastic view of the harbor, watching boats glide by. It had been a while since my last visit to a Joe's Crab Shack. I noticed that the waitstaff, who used to dance in the aisles, didn't do so this time. I'm not sure if they still have that tradition. Nonetheless, it's still a great spot for food and drinks, especially at the waterfront location in Newport Beach. The food was delicious, and everyone in our group of nine enjoyed their meals without any complaints. The music and atmosphere can be a bit loud, but it creates a lively vibe that's perfect for groups wanting to have fun. The service was decent—not bad, but we did have to request another round of drinks after our glasses had been empty for a while. I think our waiter might have missed out on some extra tips by not being more attentive. Overall, I was satisfied and would definitely come back."

"Typical Boathouse good service and excellent food! The Thanksgiving roast turkey special was probably the best we've had in Naples in the 4 years we've been here, since we relocated to here in early 2018; it was moist, juicy and delicious! And ALL the accompaniments were also delicious and attractively presented! And as is typical, our Server was courteous, friendly, professional and a pleasure for her overall performance! Our 6 guests left here happy and completely satisfied with the food and the excellent service! Consequently, we've now booked our Christmas Eve dinner here at the Boathouse for our next celebratory dinner!"

"We love Oceanaire and the food is typically stellar. This visit, one entree was very sub-standard. The Mahi Mahi special over creamed spinach and sweet potato was not good. The Mahi was completely overcooked and dry, hard to swallow it was so dry. The creamed spinach was hardened into a sheet that was completely unedible. The sweet potato was good. I chose not to send the entree back, but should have done so. It was not worthy of Oceanaire."

"we were there to celebrate my mom's birthday. my sister wanted to come and surprise my mom, but she'll be a little late. I told the waitress on the side that I wanted to place and order two meal times, one of my sisters was to arrive and eat her there. When I ordered the food, I showed the waitress the two meals I wanted to get. she says okay and writes it up. When the food came out, she had only commanded the one I asked for my sister. So I had to explain to her that I wanted to eat another one. it ruined the surprise when my sister came up when I explained that. my meal took a long time to come and for what I paid it was not worth it. I hardly leave a restaurant without taking the container. I ate everything and wasn't full. I'm usually full in any other restaurant, but that wasn't the case here. I was dissatisfied and so was the rest of my party. the sections, the price and the attention of the staff made a bad visit. we will not return."

"Having recently relocated from New England, I was in search of quality seafood in the Midwest, and I found it at Mitchell. The oyster selection is consistently impressive, and the smaller ones are delightful. A tip: save the broth to enjoy with your bread! In the past, I've tried the cioppino, Asian tuna, and sea bass Oscar style, and each dish was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"Came for restaurant week and left highly disappointed. First, when we arrived, no one was at the hostess stand to acknowledge us. We stood there for several minutes trying to figure out if we should seat ourselves, or if we were even in the right are. A waitress finally noticed us and came over to say someone would be right over. Next, I got the “betta bruschetta” as my appetizer with restaurant week. There was hardly any cheese on the bread and the appetizer itself was lackluster. Soggy bread with a pea-sized amount of cheese and tomatoes. Very disappointing. For our main course we ordered the salmon and the sirloin. Asked for the sirloin to be cooked medium, it came out still mooing. Asked for the salmon to be cooked medium rare and was informed “we don’t take special order does our salmon.” The salmon came out over cooked, dry, flavorless, and impossible to eat. I literally had to take my entire salmon home after one bite because it was THAT bad. We also took the steak home because it was inedible. It took an hour for our entrees to come out and we were not waiting around for a re-fire. Most of our experience at this restaurant was spent listening to the waitresses and the hostess argue about where to sit people and who to not seat because they didn’t have reservations. These conversations were held on the dining floor in front of everyone. Lastly, the restaurant itself is situated inside a hotel. Which we didn’t think anything of until we watched multiple hotel guests walk through the restaurant to access the hotel. Guests who were dirty and stared at you while you were dining. It felt extremely awkward and gross. There should be something to block hotel guests from using the restaurant as a cut-through. We will never be back. We wasted $75 and 2 hours of our time and still left hungry."

"The cocktails, dinner and desserts were very good and our waitress, Cory, was excellent. I love eating at Willie G's and love the manager coming to visit at our table. I look forward to returning with more of my clients for another wonderful meal."
"Our first visit to Oceanaire and was it wonderful. Our server, Jamie, was very personable, and catered to our every need and wish. David, the manager, met us at the doir, took our coats and helped make the experience all the better. The food? The best seafood restaurant I’ve had the pleasure of visiting in many, many years. Our appetizers were extraordinary followed by huge portions of the Seafood Trio main course. Our Orange Creme Brulee dessert followed matching our expectations. We will seek out other Oceanaire restaurants in all there other locations."

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."
