"I dined here in early August 2017 with my sister. We ordered the frites with the cilantro ranch to start. The frites were perfectly crisp and were seasoned with salt and black pepper. They weren't greasy, which was a pleasant surprise. The cilantro ranch (yes, vegan) was creamy and herbaceous. It wasn't runny like other vegan ranch dressings I've had, and held up well to the frites. We devoured them. For my main, I ordered the vegetable panini with the vegan option (which omits the mozzarella I believe). The sourdough bread was thinly sliced and provided an audible crunch with each bite. The vegetables were too few, but provided a nice balance to the sharp flavor of the arugula. The tomatoes were served at their peak of ripeness and brought some needed brightness to the dish. When I ordered the panini, the server offered me a couscous or a citrus salad as a side and noted that both were vegan. I chose the couscous salad. It was served cold and was dressed simply with olive oil, salt, and pepper. The couscous side also contained diced cucumber, which was the predominant flavor of the salad. The cucumber lightened up the couscous and made it a good pairing with the sourdough of the panini. For dessert, we tried the dark chocolate brownie, which is served with house-made, frozen, coconut cream and a bananas foster caramel. The flavors of bananas foster were delicious, but were overpowered by the sheer volume of the coconut cream and the brownie. The coconut cream was indeed frozen, and was difficult to eat because of it. Once I managed to get my spoon through the cream, I found it unremarkable. The brownie was everything I had hoped for: crunchy in parts, gooey and fudgy in others, and perfectly sweet. It's large enough to share. The brownie doesn't benefit from the coconut cream, but the bites with the bananas foster caramel were sweet and salty and chocolatey and rummy and banana-y and incredible. I liked it. I will be returning to this restaurant and look forward to seeing what their next season's menu will feature."
