"A group of four of us dined at this restaurant and ordered a burger, po boy, salmon, and Cajun Alfredo. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and finished every last bite. My fiance and I have a passion for spicy food but are often let down when dining out because dishes tend to lack the desired kick. However, the food at this restaurant had just the right amount of spice without sacrificing flavor. The service was exceptional with attentive staff and quick service. The fries were particularly delicious, crispy, and seasoned with Cajun spices. The only critique we had was that the po boy sandwich was a bit dry, so we added some ranch dressing to give it more moisture. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant."

"Very good food and very friendly staff. My server was nice and he made sure if everything thing was ok at the same time did not persistent and did not come to my table every 5 minutes or so which could get annoying which most servers do this, but he did not do this and let us enjoy our meal but at the same time made sure that we had everything we need. I will recommend this place to anyone who wants some good food and a friendly place to eat. Kid-friendliness: My waiter care what my kids wanted to eat and drink and even made some suggestions. "This place is walkable from our house! I?m not a huge Cajun fan, but I love the feel of this place so we still stop by every so often for a drink and a snack! I love how it?s a family owned and operated business, and the owners are often around to say hello to! The full bar is stocked and they have some great draft beer options as well. They have live music quite often and fun events throughout the year! I recommend you try this place out!"

"I frequent the SIRE Club (former Red White Bistro) pretty much every time I attend a Rockets game. For the price the experience has really changed. From the moment you come in, the staff is telling you about all the limitations; that frankly did not exist prior to the past two seasons. Upon arrival we were informed that there was a 1.5 hour max occupancy for the table. Which is fine because I was going to my seats. We ate in about 1 hour and 15 when the manager came over, took my credit card, charging me for the cost of food and an added gratuity that I did not see or previously agree to and reminding me that our time was drawing nigh. Let 's just say the charge we substantive enough to not be reminded yet again of the max occupancy time. But that really doesn 't matter either. A better approach may have been to say now that you ladies have finished dining you are welcome to grab some desserts or other snack to take to you seats or enjoy over in the lounge area . Sire Club management I 'll let you have that one for free! Please stop being so rude and uninviting!!! You are killing the vibe!"

"Wonderful Seafood Restaurant in Great Location A Must Try!. We thoroughly enjoyed our recent meal at Basin. My husband and I both grew up on the Gulf Coast and we recognize and enjoy good Gulf seafood. The seafood at Basin hits the mark. We enjoyed the whole grilled redfish. It was a huge portion enough for two. The fish was wonderfully fresh and perfectly cooked. The grilled oysters were great and the risotto with crab and and mushrooms was out of this world good. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The chef visited our table to inquire about the food quality. The American Mule drinks were good. They could have used just a bit more ginger flavor for my taste, but still quite good. We had a wonderful evening, great service and an overall super experience. We look forward to our next visit. "I am a regular customer of this restaurant, primarily due to the good food. However, the overall service is lacking. This isn't my first experience with subpar customer service at the Urban Crab Shack. On March 24th, I placed an online order, and the estimated pick-up time was 20 minutes. When I arrived, a gentleman politely asked if I was there to pick up or order. Upon telling him I was there to pick up, I provided my name and order number. He checked the system but couldn’t find my order. After checking with the kitchen, he returned and asked for my name again. Following that, he informed me that my order must have been lost due to a system issue and offered to take my order again. While I was disappointed, I accepted it. I presented my email receipt, and he assured me he would place my order. I expressed my concern about whether he had everything and suggested he jot it down, but he insisted he remembered all the details. Unconvinced, I took a slip of paper from my purse, wrote down my order, and handed it to him. He barely glanced at my note and reiterated that he had everything under control. I warned him that if I got home and anything was missing, I wouldn't be satisfied. Upon arriving home and opening my meal, I discovered—surprise—NO SAUSAGE! This was the second time I had ordered online and the sausage was missing. When I attempted to call the restaurant to address the issue, I encountered more frustration: my call went straight to voicemail, which was full, so I couldn't leave a message. This is why I'm compelled to write this review! Despite the quality food, I will likely hesitate before returning to Urban Crab Shack, as it may not be my first choice anymore. There’s a clear need for improvement in customer care and service, as my experience has indicated that the waitstaff could benefit from better training. During a visit on March 18th for lunch with my sisters, our waiter, while friendly, was not well trained—a situation I had encountered before with him. He is a genuinely nice young man and I believe he has potential with the right training. I tipped generously because I appreciate his effort, and I chose not to provide negative feedback directly, as I didn’t want to discourage him. As the owner, I urge you to invest in proper training for your staff. I can't be the only customer who has faced these challenges. You have a lovely establishment, and I’m sure you want it to thrive. Just imagine how wonderful it could be with every table filled and customers eagerly waiting to be seated. Please address these areas in need of improvement. Consider providing your staff with the training they clearly need."

"Love this little spot! Absolutely amazing food in a tiny bar that reminds me of many of the hole-in-the-wall haunts I visited in New Orleans. Their grits are fantastic and by far the best I've had in my time in the PNW. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and so flavorful and the banana pudding is not to be missed. "This was not our first visit; we are season ticket holders and frequently visit during games. Unfortunately, the service was a different story. I had written about our concerns before, and on this occasion, it took about 20 minutes for a server to come to our table. I had to ask several staff members whether there was a server assigned to us, since it was a buffet-style restaurant. We really needed someone to at least take our drink orders. Waiting for our drinks took forever, causing us to miss the first quarter of the game. The previous times we visited the red and white restaurant, it was fantastic, but it seems the service has declined. It feels like they are trying to cut casual service, but at the expense of customer satisfaction."
