"Love Cathy's Place, my home away from home. The staff is friendly and welcoming, remembers my name and knows all my family members. I moved to Brooklyn over a year ago from WV and this place has become my haven. I always feel at home when I am here. Sometimes magical things happen too, like when the customers and the staff join in singing to Oldies playing on the Sound System. Food is home-made and very tasty. Don't go here when in a hurry as you will want to linger over your tasty meal and company."

"The older gentleman is was bothered to get me 3 small things of ketchup. My bun was not gluten free as it said it was and for a $15 burger I only got a couple small pieces of onion and the smallest slithers of pickles possible and yet still charged me extra. It comes with maybe 9 fries. I ordered a basket of the chips and they are brown and so hard. If you are looking for good burgers Citizen Burger in Charlottesville is worth the $15. My children won?t even eat them. The customer service here blows and the owner must be cheap. A waste of $30 on a meal that would?ve been better from McDonald?s or Burger King. I have been serving for 7 years and every time I am shocked by the carelessness but this time I won?t be returning."

"Situated in the Windsor Park Shopping Center, this spot offers ample parking. I checked out their menu before my visit and found a great variety of bagels and cream cheeses available. The prices were quite reasonable, especially with offers for half a dozen or a dozen bagels. I opted for six bagels for $6.75, along with a half pound of light cream cheese. Just a heads up—if you want your bagels sliced, it costs an extra five cents for each one, although this isn’t mentioned on the menu. The bagels were soft and among the best I've had, and the cream cheese was very fresh. However, the woman at the counter wasn't particularly friendly or welcoming. Overall, it's a good place to grab bagels."

"The variety of bagels and cream cheese flavors available was impressive, alongside a diverse menu of other items and pastries. I found the prices for both food and coffee to be quite reasonable. I also appreciated that the restroom is for customers only, which is definitely a plus. The staff members, especially the men behind the counter, were extremely friendly. Even during the late morning rush when customers were no longer hurrying to work, the place still had a lively atmosphere. A couple of days after my first visit, I returned to enjoy a bagel with cream cheese, and once again, the same counter attendant was delightfully pleasant. He treated all the customers warmly, which I noticed while I waited at a table before ordering. He kindly offered me a spot to sit inside since it was particularly windy and chilly that day. I took another look at the bagel selection and found pumpernickel at the very bottom. I had my heart set on trying the Garlic Herb Cream Cheese, so I went for it. I opted not to toast the bagel because it already had a wonderful crunch on the outside. The inside was perfectly moist and delicious. There was a generous amount of cream cheese to spread all over the bagel, and I ended up finishing the whole thing. The Garlic Herb Cream Cheese was exceptional! At $5.17, it was absolutely worth it. I couldn't have asked for a better brunch experience! I wholeheartedly recommend Bagel Express II. Don't let their overall two-star rating dissuade you; it doesn't reflect my experience at all. Plus, they maintain a clean restroom, which is always a bonus!"

"Absolutely wonderful! A very friendly and inviting environment. We did a little shopping and bought some sandwiches to eat there. There are tables upfront for hungry shoppers who just can't make it home before needing a bite. My wife got a cream cheese and lox, my son a BLT, the father in law some pierogies and potato pancakes and a Pig Out sandwich for me. Delicious by all means of the word! We will definitely be going back."

"I had a terrible humiliating experience at this place. I ordered a bagel with white fish sandwich. I was asked if I wanted salate and tomato on the sandwich. I answered in any case. When I got into the register, the Bagel sandwich was almost $14. I was told that they accused me three dollars for salat on the sandwich! when I asked why they didn't tell the customer that they charge such a steep price for two small pieces salat, I was told that it was written on the sign above. there is a huge menu sign with 1 million different things there and maybe or maybe not it is written in small print. I said, I think it's up to the facility to tell people that they will charge them such a creepy price for basic salat. they said they have no time to tell everyone who orders. isn't that their job?! I asked them to remove the salat at which point there was practically no fish in the sandwich. I asked her to fill that sandwich, which it would normally be without salate. then they refused to give me that sandwich and came out of the facility. the behavior of the people working here is absolutely arrogant. so no customers should be treated. and it is her right to get what they pay and not be involved. no bagel should cost this price with only filler. buyer's intention. this device is operated by unmatched winders."

"Fantastic! Clean ! Fresh EVERYTHING ! I am a tea drinker , it has been a struggle to find a properly brewed cup as the water is never the correct temp. As I was grateful, the kind lady (should have gotten her name) said this is why they don’t keep hot water at the self serve , it’s doesn’t stay hot enough The salad bar was so absolutely enticing , you can tell absolutely everything is made fresh daily . I will be a contributed patron at their establishment ."

"It sounds like cliche, but really if I could give them zero stars I would...I am a patron of bagel places for last 25 years and they're some great, good and not so good ones... this one is a disaster..! It was our first visit and last visit same time. The staff was very unfriendly. We got there at 10:30am, the shelves were empty not much left to choose from, to their defense they said another batch is almost ready if we would wait a couple minutes, which we choose to do. Waiting for 15 minutes, we are looking around place, where to seat it was dirty, there was a live cricket strolling around the tables dirty tables, dirty coffee machines, rugs, used Band Aid on the floor, garbage can with big opening right next to the table with flying flies around one word disgusting.!!! For a full picture, when we walked in the store, it was completely empty, morning rush was over the staff hade plenty of time to straighten up the place. (to my opinion and experience from other extremely busy places which they kept their facilities in order, clean and treated us always with a smile, didn't matter how busy they were..! Also I can only drink just decaf coffee, they said to our shock that they don't have it, claiming that nobody drinks it in the area where 90% are senior citizens with health issues, I highly doubt that excuse..!Finally after waiting for 15 minutes we got our bagels, which were feeling and looked like undercooked and raw (see the pictures I am posting here to confirm everything what I'm saying , to learn when we brought it back to manager/owner, her excuse was that day needed to rest longer time (just thought why you serving not done or not enough time rested bagels to the clients, bagels which are not having satisfying and required quality ?!? She said she can give me another one which was another 10 minutes later (by this time to her opinion they should be rested enough , so we expected those going to be rested and in perfect shape it was absolutely no difference, they felt undercooked almost raw in the middle couldn't eat them as I said that was our last visit we absolutely not recommending this place..!!!This is one of the franchise stores and by the gentleman (who was also waiting and seeing what was happening , this place is not good and he recommended two different places in the area one from same franchise, another private bagel place which he prefers and we definitely will try next time never going back to this one...!!! ? ?"

"10 am on Mother 's Day and all they have are everything bagels? They are open until 1pm. The phrase that 's all we have. What do people not get? could be heard from the back of the house. Perhaps, and I 'm just spit ballin ' here, keep the ovens ready and make a few at a time throughout the morning. Then you 'll have fresh bagels and a variety to boot and you will minimize waste while keeping everyone happy."

"I was really hoping that this restaurant would be the go-to spot for bagels in the city, but unfortunately, that was not the case. The "veggie cream cheese" I received (see picture) was a disappointment. It was a poor attempt at a veggie cream cheese, barely covering both sides of the bagel, which are already pricey. They also did not offer all the items on their menu, such as the cinnamon raisin cream cheese that I inquired about (which they had run out of by 8 o'clock). Additionally, the staff was rude to customers. Overall, I was very unimpressed and hope that they will improve their service and offerings."
