"The restaurant was pretty busy but was able to squeeze us in last minute, which was appreciated. The seating was very tight and we were close to the surrounding tables, to the point where we could clearly hear their conversations and barely understand eachother across the table. The service was good, although the waitress disappeared often and was difficult to flag down. Theoverall atmosphere was cozy but plain. The bigger disappointment was the food. Their seafood chowder was literally just fishsoup blended salmon and soup, with some potato and clam chunks in it. The short ribs were delicious, but the grilled filetmignon was mediocre. It was ordered medium rare, but charred way too much, giving it a very distinct, bad aftertaste. We ordereddessert to try and make up for the meal the homemade chocolate cobbler thing (pictured below). It was more like chocolatesyrup with an oatmeal crumble, scoop of ice cream, and berries on top, and it would 've been fine if the chocolate wasn 't just arunny syrup. While we understand it seems like a local staple, we don 't understand the hype and likely wouldn 't return again."
