"Our daughter and granddaughter gave us a gift card to celebrate our anniversary. It was our first dining experience. The menu has many selections, something for everyone. We began with the house salad, which was delicious. We shared the 10 oz filet with blue cheese topping and a twice baked potato. They were both perfect. Troy was a great server, professional and personable. Next time we’ll try the desserts."

"we met a friend to celebrate his birthday in the terrace grill. we came around five when they opened and enjoyed their amazing happy hour that lasts until 630. we tried quite everything on the bar bites menu and drinks that were very cheap. we were really impressed that the waitress surprised us with a complementary dessert to celebrate the occasion. the quality of eating, the ambiente and the impeccable service really made an unforgettable evening. try the Sunday brunch next time!"

"We don’t usually prefer to sit in the bar and I thought I put that when I made the reservation, but I guess I did not. We seated in the bar. It’s very noisy there. The food was not up to par. Both of our baked potatoes were cold we consider your restaurant our favorite and we’ve been coming for years for every occasion When we came Christmas Eve my fillet was not cooked the way I ordered it. I notified my waiter and he did not say a word we’re gonna give it one more chance. I don’t know if it’s just on holidays that you have a different cook, but we felt very rushed also."

"Calamari appetizer was delicious with an Asian fusion twist. Very lightly breaded and sautéed to perfection. The Lobster Bisque soup was gourmet with big chunks of lobster. Yum! The Chilean Sea Bass was light and fresh. The Blackened Red Snapper was well seasoned and enjoyed the palenta base. The Lobster Tail was tasty with clarified butter and asparagus. Dessert was the perfect end to celebrating a birthday by sharing creme brulee with raspberries blueberries and peanut butter cup pie. Justin was an incredible server; he described every menu item, answered our questions and timed our courses perfectly. Thank you for a wonderful evening! We’ll definitely be back"

"Made reservations like all the other times we visit. Staff had a hard time figuring out where to seat the 3 of us before sticking us in the bar. The restaurant was virtually empty at the time as I could see a bunch of empty booths in the dining room. First time at the reopened North Hills location so we just went along with it. This place has a large outdoor area now. Lots of windows, outdoor tables right on the other side of the glass. So much for intimacy and privacy. And of course the first couple to be seated outside was right on the other side of the window. After sitting down they asked to move, obviously uncomfortable with the three of us practically sitting with them. Had to continually swat at a fly after our food arrived. That was a first at a Ruth’s Chris. But, in fairness, the food was excellent. This newly reopened restaurant has six unisex bathroom stalls. No women only bathrooms, not one. I think we’ll go back to the Cary location for our special occasions."

"Steven Libby Bollich had made reservations a week in advance. The service was great and the server(s) knowledgeable in all facets. The food was very well prepared and the portions satisfying. We had an issue (known to Jackson's by previous complaints as admitted by management) of a serving buffet/storage facility for glassware, beer, and utensils among other sorts of table preparation items. Our table was placed right next to all the clanging of noise as servers did their job. We complained twice and received apology etc. We spoke with management about the issue and made note of extra seating that was not near all the noise. We were not compensated or moved to a different table. All in all, we had a good time, as we are truly happy folks (most of the time)"

"Yesterday we celebrated a birthday at the restaurant with a party of 10 guests, including two children aged 6 and 9. Unfortunately, after waiting for 1.5 hours, our salads were finally served. I politely asked the waiter to expedite our meals due to the young kids, but he explained that the kitchen only starts preparing the food once the salads are served, giving them half an hour to get everything ready. In the end, we spent a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes for dinner, which we found to be an absurdly long wait. The food itself was delicious, but the excessive wait time was unacceptable."

"I had the worst experience ever! I made prior reservations months in advance to celebrate my anniversary and children's birthday. I reserved a cake prior that was not ready even though I had text messages showing. The waiter dropped water on our food and table. The table behind us was about to get in a fight and pushed the chair into our 6 year Olds chair. He started to cry. The other table started again and we had to move our son to avoid getting injured. My husband had to stand there to avoid anyone in our family getting hurt. It was so horrible!"

"Once again Mortons demonstrates it's inability to prepare a steak at medium temperature. It took two return trips to the cook and the end result was a filet mignon that was ruined. To their credit the other entree's were closer to what was desired and only one entree was cooked perfectly as ordered. Not the time this has happened nor the last I am afraid to say. You would have thought the ruined steak would have been removed from the bill but instead, a free desert was offered. The only thing that saved this special occasion birthday dinner on Mother's Day was the great table service and the company"

"we had reservation for 6:30 and arrived at 6:20 to celebrate my 70th day! we got a table in the next room, very drab room without ambiente and not main it area. slow service and I became free gloomy, cheesecake, but I don't like cheesecake. the waiter just put bill on the table and left. I never asked if we wanted coffee or dessert menu that I would have liked to see. never go back, thank you for having been good at dinner!"

"Not sure where to start on this review, overall it was a disappointing experience. We were super excited to have afternoon tea, my daughter wants to go to England on our next trip. Let's start with the tea: we chose earl gray, black with peach and peppermint. The best was the earl gray however they refill your tea (add water to the pot) and none of the teas even got half the flavor as the first round. One thing I am going to disagree with on most other reviews is theluxury upgrade was worth it, the sliders were amazing. The rest of the snacks were overall a let down. The sandwiches were smoked salmon and ham/cheese and the bread was quite dry especially towards the edges. It would have been great tostart with a lighter, fresher sandwich (cucumber for example) as overall the food was heavy. The scones were good but nothing special. The pastries were the best of the experience but none that I would make a trip over for. Lots ofpotential but not worth the cost."

"we always had great experiences here. we go here for special occasions. one of the things we love is the fabulous attentive service, but unfortunately the service terrible, insulting awful. we should have asked for a change when we saw that some who looked anxious constantly tried to get the attention of the waiter. Instead we sat her, while said waiter refused to take our drink order until the whole party arrived. As soon as they did 15 minutes later, he informed us rudely that we had to wait until everyone knew what he wanted to drink, how we were children, because he would only make a trip into the bar. this is my man's birthday, and they want to drink him? So we started to ask the bus boys for drinks or would ask him before we were finished because drinks lasted about 30 minutes. still we have only 2 or 3 drinks (we usually 5) I think he went on all his tables and made us all order at the same time so he went out into the bar. when the coffee was served, he left it on a table next to our table for 10 or 15 minutes. he went away, we finished dessert and then he came back 10 minutes later and shaken it. a new couple sat next to us. 15 minutes later, the man stood up and screamed, as the tip of his lungs at a manager screamed over the waiter. she offered him weeping so he might have been shot and ignored. it was his jubilee. everything I say is special occasions that need special occasions. that was not a new server, but there was obviously something that wasn't right with him. his attitude, his demeanor, he was sweaty, a little ashamed. I think I'll rethink my special restaurant. I also called in advance to tell them that it was the 40th birthday of my man. they offered to put rose petals on the table and give him a free dessert....one of them happened. Instead we were brought to a big table by an empty restaurant and stood there while they put the table before us."

"We came here for Sunday brunch. Everything was wonderful. It was served family style. You could ask for more of anything you wanted. Fruit, pastries, eggs, sausages, bacon, steak, ham, turkey...there was a small buffet type line you could go up to at any time to have an omelette or Belgian waffle made. With the brunch you got a complimentary glass of champagne as well. There was also a large table of fabulous deserts. Our server was excellent. I would recommend checking this restaurant out!"

"My wife and I treated our niece to a birthday dinner. We sat in the outdoor area out front, and had a very nice experience. Service was great (as always). Food was excellent (as always). When I let the waiter know it was our niece's birthday, he arranged for a cannoli and a birthday candle for her (on top of the tire misu which is her favorite dessert). We really like to bring friends and guests to Fresco Grill with us."

"I’m rating the restaurant a little higher based on overall experience versus the most recent dinner I had there over the weekend. The food was generally excellent, however, steaks ordered medium rare (I usually order the filet mignon) are consistently over cooked. The last medium rare steak I received arrived with a medium cook/board wring on medium well. Service was okay, but not as good as usual. I’m going to give them one more shot on my regular list of steak houses, but for me two strikes will be enough before they fall off the list. Especially, with the cost of eating out in the current economy."

"I've always enjoyed Ruth's Chris, but I don't believe it'll be my first choice in the future. It was noisy and a little cramped. Granted, we were seated next to the main path leading from the kitchen . In addition, during the reservation process we were asked if we were celebrating anything special. We were. I explained. Not sure why I shared this piece of information because really nothing was done by the restaurant to help make the evening special. Just a bill. So I was disappointed and always expected more professionalism from this chain."

"We had a fantastic birthday dinner at Frenchy and already cannot wait to go back! We had dined at Tundra previously and enjoyed that experience too but Frenchy really impressed us from both a food and service point of view! We had the baked Brie, brioche and beef tartar and the beef tartar was everyone’s favourite, even among my teenage girls. The mains we ordered were fabulous, incredible recommendations which were perfectly executed: branzino, bouillabaisse and the roast chicken — I can’t even pick a favorite bc they were all amazing! The chef and service team are top notch, I highly recommend checking this place out for classic French favourites executed without any flaws!"

"We were greeted as we entered and seated immediately. Our waiter was very good and wished us a Happy Anniversary as did many of your staff. He brought us each a glass of complementary wine. Our salads and entree's were spaced perfectly. Particularly loved the baked potato. We each enjoyed the Wednesday evening prime rib special and felt it was very worth the money and served to perfection. I would have loved to try the creme burlee but was just too full. Next time . I used the on line reservation, very easy will do that again. This was my second time dining there and I was happy to see the center tables were removed from the middle of the dinning area. First time there we were seated at a table for down the middle and it was very busy and we felt crowded. Thank you for the wonderful service and look forward to visiting again soon"
"I recently hosted a team dinner here, and while the overall experience was positive, there were a few key issues. The ambiance was great, and most of our group enjoyed the food. However, a couple of problems stood out. Dirty dishes were left stacked on our table for an extended period, despite multiple requests for them to be cleared, which was a bit frustrating. One of the dinners, ordered medium rare, came out well done. It was sent back without acknowledgment, and by the time the replacement arrived, most of our party had already finished eating. Typically, a manager would check in after such an issue, but unfortunately, no follow-up was made. Lastly, the bananas in the Bananas Foster were under-ripe, making them chewy and hard to enjoy in that particular dish. Overall, the experience was decent, but attention to these details would greatly improve it."
