"We had dinner tonight at Mike's Place. I had the fried green tomatoes, the red pepper Crawfish Bisque, and the shrimps and grits that made them happy without the pig. When I told them about my allergy to pork and beef, the waiter said he would tell the cook to make sure that the grottos cook separately (they cook a grotto on a flat top. Usually I can't get shrimp and grits because the sausage is always cooked in it, so I was shocked that they could leave it for me. Extremely impressed, and the entire meal was simply phenomenal. We had a waiter at the bar who was very attentive and told me that the Rock Lobster dran was better than I told him that I like my drinks, as I like my men, sweet and fruity. The Rock Lobster Drink was so good, I had two of them. We moved to a table and had another waiter who was just as attentive. It's the 23rd. My son's birthday and he brought Dessert with an illuminated candle. I love Mike's place!"

"Victor's is a South Minneapolis neighborhood institution operating for over 20 years. The authentic Cuban food served here is among the best the Twin Cities has to offer and is an excellent brunch spot. There is a nice (but rather small) patio which I would recommend if weather and availability permits. The inside is small/slightly cramped but that shouldn't be a deterrent unless you're claustrophobic or wheelchair bound. Bear in mind they are only open from 9am to 2:30pm, Wednesday through Sunday. You'll want to arrive before 10am if you want to be seated quickly on weekends as after 10am, there is usually a line/wait time up to 45 mins. Wheelchair accessibility: Indoor dining is not a great option for wheelchair accessibility as it is small, cramped and usually quite busy. Recommend either outdoor dining or take out/delivery."

"I've visited Lucile's several times over the years, and the quality of food and service has always been impressive. On Easter Sunday, we arrived at 9 AM as a party of two and were seated immediately. However, there was a bit of a wait at the front when we left around 10, so I recommend arriving early! The restaurant is housed in what used to be a spacious home or small church, complete with high ceilings, giving it a cozy atmosphere. I ordered the Eggs Jennifer on a gluten-free English muffin, with hollandaise sauce on the side and added ham. My bill mistakenly listed my dish as the Bennifer with cheese grits, but it was amazing nonetheless, as always! My husband chose the Cajun Breakfast with cheese grits and couldn't stop praising his meal as well. The coffee was excellent, and even though the restaurant was busy, the service remained attentive; my water and coffee cup were never more than half full. Our server, Megan, was fantastic!"

"Amazing as always today I ordered the Ropa Vieja for me and my little one it was mouth watering with Real Cuban Food seasonings and flavor . The Morros as always great and of course a side of Maduros. Great place been coming here for year's and when I can't go I order. Oh and if your sick the Homade Cuban style Chicken soup is amazing if you feel bad will get oh feeling better in no time. Gave it to my young one today and she already forgot she was feeling bad."

"We had a wonderful experience at Lucile's! The biscuits, served with butter, apple butter, or their delightful jams, were truly outstanding. My partner Greg enjoyed the Creole breakfast along with pan-fried trout, which was flavorful, light, and fresh. The seasoning on the fish was just right and didn’t overpower its taste. I tried the eggs sardou for the first time; although I might not order it again, it was quite delicious. Our server recommended adding grilled shrimp, which was a fantastic suggestion! We appreciated the cozy, homey atmosphere and even got to take a small piece of strawberry home in a handkerchief! We will definitely return whenever we are in the area. Plus, there's a lovely plant shop just across the street if that's your thing!"

"The food was good! We had the sampler meal, gumbo duo, Caesar salad and a spicy pasta dish. They were all fresh and tasty! We tried the alligator appetizer, it was pretty good! Just be brave and try it! And definitely get the beignet fries, bananasfoster style! To die for! Seriously, they were so good we got a to- go order the next day! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 becausethe service wasn't great, decent but a bit slow, and the kitchen staff was arguing so loudly we could hear it from our table. Iwouldn't let that stop you from going though!"

"Every year my and I go to Charleston South Carolina for vacation and to visit with my mother in law. One of the tasks we give ourselves is going home with shrimp for the next year. Mount Pleasant seafood is one of the businesses we use for that purchase. Located right at Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Very easy to locate and plentiful parking. Shrimp is not the only seafood one can acquire in this establishment . They have a wide variety of seafood, mainly saltwater fish but all fresh. They can also ship to your location in the lower 48 states. Pricing varies according to the yield at the time of your order. The shrimp are exceptional quality and very clean. You can get them serviced, anyone who has experienced shrimp knows what that means. The store also has spices and merchandise related to seafood. This is a place well worth a visit if you are ever in Charleston South Carolina, highly recommended."

"Have eaten here before and quality of food was better, and service was a little better. 2 breakfast meals with latte and coffee was $50, which is inflation as much as anything I guess, but bacon was cooked unevenly floppy raw for a couple pieces and overly crisp for others , and potatoes had too much Cajun ? spice that left a bad taste in the mouth. Coffee was good, but had to flag down indifferent server for refill. Eggs were ordered over medium, but came out undercooked and runny. New parking lot alignment is pretty screwed up, making access even more difficult Thanks parking lot neighbor Dish Network . Menu is more limited than I remember, with the only way to add eggs to a biscuit and gravy meal is to buy eggs for $3 each! Wow! Biscuit was good."

"I purchased a Groupon 2 weeks ago to use for date night today. Before we began ordering, I informed the waiter of my Groupon and he immediately said ?No! We don?t take those!? I said ?I just purchased it, since when you stop taking it. I can even purchase another right now.? He said they been stop taking them after the first 2 attempts of people redeeming them. We asked for the manager and he put on the phone to speak to some man. He made no exception for us AND I couldn?tget me money back from Groupon. We ate there anyway hoping the food would be worth the hassle but the food was honestly pretty horrible. I ordered curry chicken and they told me it was a 2 hour wait. We were the only ones there. The djondjon rice was dry and obviously microwaved and so were the wings and Mac n cheese. The pikliz looks interesting too. Disgusting. I couldn?t eat it. Nothing ?Carribbean? or Haitian about it. Just terrible. We ended up spending almost $70 forterrible food. Never again. Amended response to this restaurant: I?m not sure what a kokorat is but either way my experience is my experience. I had a terrible experience with your restaurant and it?s ok. Kudos to you finding peoplewho enjoyed your food. I don?t work in the food industry so I don?t know anything about microwaved meals being served to customers but your meals didn?t appear ?fresh? at all. (Again, in my opinion) Also while you?re checking cameras, checkone more time to see/hear your server state that I would have to wait 2 hrs for curry chicken. Not that I waited 2 hours for my food. In addition, I never heard of your restaurant until I saw it on Groupon. People shop there to try newthings. I was excited to do just that but unfortunately I was quickly disappointed. Your dealings with Groupon has nothing to do with me as a customer. Yes, you gave us a 20% discount BUT you also charged us an 18% gratuity fee for 2 peoplethat is typically charged on groups of 6 ppl or more. Now THAT is unfair. Anyway, carry"

"I called my order in and arrived less than five minutes , I was greeted with okay service , but the speed and structure they have is awesome never seen it at any other Hatian cuisine . The food I give a 3.5-4 stars it can use more heat to it , I had fried turkey rice and beans and piklse I like heat but I’m from Miami so this is by far the closet of the best Hatian I have had since being in Boston ! Oh and the limeade is bomb ! Freshly squeeze with some essence ! They kinda uncharged me I wanted plantain and picklez they gave me a side when it was already on my plate but it’s okay now I know . Plantain are cooked through and fried well with slight salt . This was way bette than Lala’s Hatian cuisine"
