"Seldom do you go to a restaurant when the entire experience is flawless. To experience that in a bistro is truly a find. The term Bistro , a fanciful corruption of the Russian word for quick probably came from Napoleaon 's grenadiers who heard it during the ill fated invasion of Russia which ended in 1812. But the nature of food that is quick doesn 't lend itself to deep commitment to detail, plating as if you were at a fine dining establishment at the height of its powers. Yet that is exactly what we got at a memorable lunch June 16. Every aspect of this food screamed organizational perfection, pride in the work and most importantly, treating customers as honored guests. It has been a Thomas Keller signature to run his restaurants with this sort of care, but to actually experience it makes one believe in humanity 's ability to achieve heights which most of us can only dream of. All the dishes were executed with simplicity and love for the ingredients. The star for me was a smoked trout, which was presented not as the dry salty generic fish you get in most markets. This was a meaty, delicate filet of trout, rather reminiscent of the otherworldly herring I have had in Amsterdam. served with olive oil and simple onion/potato foundation, it just sang unique and sensuous appetizer. Salad Lyonnais is another star, simply served with perfect lardon and soft boiled egg which made the perfect greens sing with joy. Loved the wine list, with really nice half bottle and by the glass choices with great balance between big names and local finds. Needless to say we will be back for dinner, but the first impression is a major love affair. Have to compliment the thoughtful and stunningly knowledgeable staff which made the entire experience more fulfilling than many three star restaurants which deal in PR more than actual cooking. Bravo to Bistro Jeanty! Bravo a Bistro Jeanty!"

"I booked a wedding there a week ago this is just my experience. While touring and looking for a venue I really saw the potential and got a great feel for it. The actual execution of the day was average. Not the best and not the worst. It was advertised that the bridal suite would have mimosas. I didn’t have any bridesmaids but my daughter, mom, grandma, and wedding planner were with me in the bridal suite. We just wanted water but it was very hard to get even though it’s advertised as to have the mimosas included. The bartender said she knew nothing about it. It was really hot. I was sweating and so were the guests. Throughout the night I had to keep going up and asking for the next thing on the itinerary to be done such as dinner and cake cutting. The staff felt lifeless except for the two bartenders. At the end of the night there were confetti balloons that were popped and the confetti left on the floor from an independent decorator separate from the wedding planner. The guy in charge verbally attacked the wedding planner as she was the only one still there. She had explained that it wasn’t her responsibility bc it wasn’t. It was the decorator that should have cleaned up. He called me and left me a voicemail cursing me out. I still have it as proof. I called back and he immediately began yelling and cursing. I literally had to talk him down. I apologized for the confetti and it was cleaned up by the wedding planner. I would never recommend anyone to give there business to a place so willing to turn to violence at the first second of an issue arising.Pros: decently priced, bridal suite available, set up and tear down for you, open bar, bartenders were professional and fun, gives you time to set up anything personal beforehandCons: Food was tasteless, some soggy, and some overcooked, unorganized staff, not willing to take wrinkles out of the table cloths, hot, difficult to work with, and person in charge verbally attacked myself and the wedding planner to the point that other people had to step in"

"6 of us had dinner last night in le french dnever. we ordered drinks 2 ordered the blueberry lavender margaritas and two of us ordered the ananas old fashion. the waiter convinced us two switches from the old fashion into a traditional manhattan with basil haydon bourbon. I ordered the french wobbles as an appetizer, which was delicious, and the mushes as entree. my mushes were only warm and most mushles were very small and cooked over. all the big mushes (5) did not open when they were cooked so they could not be eaten. the dinner of my wife, the scallops, were also warm. I told the waiter that the big mushes did not open, he said he would talk to the kitchen, but nothing was done. when we got the ****, my friend was and I shocked that they had charged us $21 for everyone. the drink specialities were only $14 that the waiter had convinced us to change from the manhattans. we checked the menu, including the drink card, and there was no price for manhattans. we wanted to talk to the manager he was over, but did nothing else than to say that their drinks are based on the trips in shanahans steak house. we googled shanahans menu and the price for a manhattan was just $14, so the manager was fos. I feel that we were deceived by the waiter to change a bait. we told the manager and the waiter that we would never put foot in this restaurant again. I would have deducted $15 from the waiter tip, the height I feel for the 2 manhattans overloaded, but the congratulation was automatically added to our bill due to the size of the party. is pre-warned. Make sure they know the price of the drink they order, especially if no price is listed on their drink menu."
