"So I have only visited twice and had sushi both times however I did observe food served to nearby tables which looked and smelled great. The menu seems to be based on Thai influence. The crazy roll and tempura sushi rolls were good and I was satisfied with the quality of ingredients used. Almost all tables were full when I arrived and when busy the service level does decrease a bit but not to bad just expect to be there a little longer. The building itself is well aged andlikely historic but the inside is still pleasant and comfortable, it's done well. The staff were very nice and friendly. Now i must also add some menu options are a little on the pricy side compared to similar places in the area, forexample $5 miso soup which is usually $2-3. Keep in mind this is a small local business so cost will be a bit more but if the food is fantastic then is that worth it to you? Looking forward to trying drunkin noodles on my next visit."

"We got takeout and tried the chicken noodle soup, the pad see uw, the ginger rice, steamed veggies and grilled bananas. The veggies looked a little dirty/unclean but the pad see uw was good. The way they packaged the soup and noodles was not good the noodles were so stuck together the first twenty bites were just noodles and no soup. The grilled bananas were awful we took two bites and threw the rest away. No flavor and tasted not fully cooked. We won’t go back. There’s better Thai food for the price elsewhere."

"We stayed at Home2 Suites in Smithfield and decided to stop by this restaurant for dinner. We weren't quite sure what to expect, but our first impression was positive—clean, comfortable, and a friendly staff. We started with the Ultimate Mai Tai Platter, and it was excellent, living up to all our expectations. We could have been satisfied with just that, but the appetizer was so delightful that we couldn’t resist ordering more. We tried the Twin Delight and Four Enemies, and wow! They were delicious, freshly prepared, and served with genuine smiles. Although it’s tucked away in a commercial plaza and not very easy to find, it’s definitely worth a visit. We might just make this a regular spot for us!"

"My place to go!! The food is always fresh, piping hot and spice level on point (I get Thai spicy #7 (out of 10 . The waitress is cheerful, attentive and they will accommodate special requests without issue like adding eggplant to a dish that doesn't have it. "I had a wonderful experience at this Asian fusion restaurant located in the heart of Birmingham! The prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. However, parking may be a bit of a challenge as there is limited street parking nearby and I had to park at another business a block away. "I requested to be placed on the waiting list for walk-in customers, and he told us to stand aside while he attended to another customer behind us. I was under the impression he would seat us based on our place on the waiting list, but to my surprise, he seated other customers who arrived after us. Initially, I thought they might have had prior reservations, but it soon became clear that we were being deliberately overlooked. When I questioned him about why he wasn't following the waiting list order, he responded that my reservation through OpenTable complicated the process and that it would take time to even add our names to the list. My ten-year-old son, who was with me, asked why this person was treating us so rudely. I found it challenging to explain his behavior to my son, as it made no sense to me either. "We were late for our reservation, but Chuck's kindly held the table for us. Tableside Caesar salad was amazing. "The food was pretty good the rice was a little dry for my taste but still really good. The menu is nice it has pictures of the food on every page and makes it easier to decide what you want to eat. "The last time we visited Mai Thai was a few years ago. Back then, the space was smaller but cozy and had a nice atmosphere. However, during our most recent visit, we noticed some changes. The restaurant had expanded and now had more of a lounge vibe than a traditional restaurant feel. The food was still good, but despite there being few customers, the service seemed lacking. "I'm sorry but I'm not sure how this place got so high of a review. Several things: We got the fried calamari, green curry, and shrimp pad thai. Everything was bland except for the pad thai, which was at least edible. The green curry was so watered down you can barely taste anything while the calamari got saved by the sauce. What's astonishing is how expensive these were for the taste (sure its Brooklyn but still doesn't justify the cost). Overall, very disappointing for the price and rating it has. People should try Thai food in Elmhurst like heaven and earth. I know its far but I rather spend the difference in cost for an uber there Wasn't planning on reviewing so I've eaten the food before taking pictures but then had the need to just say it out there after trying it out "

"The avocado curry is definitely my top pick from the menu. I used to live in the area but have since moved away. Whenever I return, I plan to order it as many times as I can. "My 6 person family came here after UO 2023 graduation since all the restaurants close to campus were super busy. We've never been but we love thai food and found this place on Yelp. I ordered the massaman curry with tofu, which I requested vegan, and it came with rice. I ordered medium spice level and it was pretty spicy but still so delicious! It came with tofu, peanuts, carrots and potatoes in the curry and I loved the flavor of the dish. They also had lots of options they could make vegan for me! My sister got the tom kha soup, made vegetarian with tofu, and that was my favorite dish we ordered. The soup was so savory and creamy and delicious! My other family members loved their food as well, and we all had lots of leftovers.Our server was super friendly and quick. I called about availability for 6 and he set aside a table for us. When we arrived 10 minutes after the phone call, a table was already set up waiting for us with silverware and menus which we really appreciated! The ambiance is pretty casual and relaxed, with friendly staff, a large menu, and delicious food. They have a cute old-timey feeling with barstool seating and fun colors on the walls. There's lots of street parking around and it's located in downtown Springfield. The prices were cheater than other Thai restaurants I've been to in Eugene, with very comparable food. I'd recommend giving this spot a try for some amazing Thai food!"

"I've been visiting this restaurant for years, and it truly is a neighborhood favorite—an excellent local Thai spot. In my opinion, it's the ideal place for a small gathering or an intimate meal for two. The service has always been impressive; my food orders are brought out within minutes of placing them.
