"Just a heads up, the service can be a bit slow, so this isn't the place for a quick meal. However, if you're looking for a long, relaxing dinner with family or a romantic evening with your partner, The Speakeasy is an ideal choice. My family frequently celebrates birthdays here.
There's also a charming and quiet patio located at the back of the restaurant, which is a lovely spot for enjoying a glass of wine on a nice day. Most dishes come with a side (if you're having steak or pork chops, definitely go for the mashed potatoes!). All entrées come with a choice of soup or a side salad. As someone who considers themselves a salad connoisseur, I find the salad to be a bit underwhelming, but their soups—made in-house—are absolutely fantastic.
While they offer several pasta options, I have a wheat sensitivity (in addition to being lactose intolerant), so I haven't tried most of them. Occasionally, I do break my diet to enjoy the angel hair with pine nuts appetizer, which is excellent! Last night, I had the duck with cherries and rice pilaf, and it was delightful!"
