"After hearing about Jimmy Buffet's passing, we finally decided to check out this restaurant. Unfortunately, it quickly reminded us why we had never visited before. After a long hour wait, we entered to find the place looking quite dirty, with many tables still uncleared. We assumed they were just understaffed. Once seated, it took quite a while for our server to bring us water. We had a special deal on food, but the server was unaware of the specifics. It took two inquiries before she finally went to get clarification. We ordered an appetizer platter, coconut shrimp, shrimp and grits, and a margarita. The appetizer platter was underwhelming and certainly not worth the over $22 price tag. The coconut shrimp, also over $22, came with only five pieces and a small serving of fries. It was bland and more batter than shrimp. For half the price, you could buy better coconut shrimp at Walmart, with a more favorable shrimp-to-batter ratio. The shrimp and grits were decent but not remarkable. It had more shrimp than the coconut shrimp, and the sauce was flavorful, yet it still didn’t justify the over $20 price. The only highlight of the meal was the margarita. The $11 watermelon margarita was refreshing, not overly sweet, and had a fantastic watermelon flavor. If I ever return, it will only be for the margaritas during happy hour. Otherwise, I won't waste my money again at Margaritaville. As some have said, paying $86 for mediocre food, poor service, and a dirty environment is indeed a waste, and I can't disagree. This experience was entirely my own mistake."

"I would give this place 100 stars if able! I had to plan a rehearsal luncheon for my son's wedding in Joliet in mid May with only 2 months notice. Since we live in North Carolina, I had to do all the research online. Thank heaven I came across SixtyFour Reserve Room in a Google search. The manager, Andrew, contacted me right away and was so helpful in making suggestions for our event. Cheryl, the events manager, took over in finalizing all the arrangements. There are so many different options for appetizers, meal combinations, wine, cocktails and beer! Our guests were able to choose their favorites ahead of time. When we arrived on the day of the event, we were so delighted by the venue! Everything I had requested was in place, and Cheryl and our amazing server/bartender, Alex, immediately greeted us and made everyone feel welcome. The appetizers and meals were served efficiently and right on the timeline I had planned. The food was incredibly delicious with a pleasing presentation. Our guests had so much fun with the Wine Stations, and the whiskey lovers appreciated the variety of choices. Everyone raved about how much they enjoyed the food, drink and ambiance. Best of all, I was able to relax and enjoy our guests since all the work was done by Andrew, Cheryl, Alex and the kitchen staff. The cost was very reasonable, especially so close to Chicago. Highly recommended!"

"Wow. Just wow. We stumbled upon Boone Cafe while searching for a restaurant near Rosemont that could accommodate our big family’s mix of diets—vegan, vegetarian, and meat eaters alike—and let me tell you, this place exceeded all expectations! Finding a restaurant that pleases everyone is always a challenge, and throw in two toddlers? Almost impossible. But Boone Cafe delivered flawlessly! The service was incredible, warm, and welcoming. The menu has everything, which can sometimes be a red flag, but here? Everything was outstanding. We ordered a ton of dishes and shared family-style, and every single bite was perfection. Let’s talk about the falafel bites—the best I’ve had anywhere in the U.S. and the closest thing I’ve had to what I tasted in the Middle East. Crispy, moist, and bursting with flavor. We originally ordered eight, but they disappeared so fast we had to order another round! And their house sauce? Mind-blowing. The vegan kefta plate was another standout—perfectly seasoned kefta with a mountain of fresh, flavorful veggies. The mezza platter was phenomenal: fresh hummus, a huge salad, and an absolutely incredible mjadara—a delicious rice dish with caramelized onions and lentils that we couldn’t stop eating. Holy cow, was it good. Even the kids devoured their mac cheese and seasoned fries, and the curly fries? Some of the best we’ve ever had—crispy, perfectly seasoned, and addictively good. This isn’t just another overpriced, pretty-plate restaurant with no flavor. This is real, home-cooked food made with love. The owner even came out to thank us, but honestly, we should have been the ones thanking him. Boone Cafe is officially our new go-to family restaurant. No more big-box disappointments—this is flavor, heart, and hospitality at its finest. Run, don’t walk, to Boone Cafe. Absolute must-try."
