"Lively place with a nice vibe. Dining room upstairs was rather empty so less energy than the downstairs bar, but a private party at the bar upstairs created a lively "feel". Food was pretty bad. Burger was nothing to rave about but the short rib sandwich was awful! Service was friendly and attentive. For the prices, the wine pours were extremely stingy and the martinis barely reached the way up the glass (those awful round stemmed glasses all the "trendy" spots think are so cool. How about a REAL martini glass? And fill it to the rim Not inexpensive. Burger, short rib sandwich, wines and martinis came to Obviously this was due to crazy prices for wine and booze since the burger and sandwich were both under each! Certainly wouldn't rush back"

the holiday decorations were nice, but the food was best moderate. I would recommend papillon only as a cocktail bar snack destination. View menu

We walked in for our reservation at and there were only a few people drinking at the bar and tables taken. We stood at the front desk for minutes and not a single person came up to us. separate workers walked by made eye contact and then kept walking and did not return. We ended up walking out due to not being attended to

Been to Papillion a few times for drinks and also recently for lunch. I really like the vibe as it has a great bar area on the main floor as well as another bar upstairs. The food is always great and the service is tops. The waitresses are all extremely friendly. Tons of beers on taps and also a fantastic brunch menu. As there are not many choices around mid-town east, Papillion is the best

I had a nice, relaxed dinner at Papillon. I sat in the bar area downstairs, as they're not serving in the main dining room right now. It was still very nice. I had the kale salad to start and then the roasted salmon with mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious. They're not serving desserts right now so I plan to go back in the future so that I can try that, as well. Very good service and most reasonable prices for the area View menu

The whole experience was very disappointing. My husband ordered fist and chips and got one medium-sized piece and one very small piece of fish with lots of french fries for definitely NOT worth the price. I ordered the Pesto grilled chicken sandwich, and the pesto was almost non-existent. The noise level was almost deafening (we asked to be seated as far from the music as possible so we could have a conversation), and our server, although friendly, never checked to see if we needed anything or if everything was ok. Not an experience we will repeat

overall not worth seeing this restaurant even if you are a halloween fan!! food very overpriced for just spinach artichoke dip, chicken dumplings mushroom risotto balls that are clearly not homemade but frozen. also came out of kitchen at room temperature and had to go back to kitchen service although nice very scarce and don’t come around often to see what you need we were there at 5 pm was not crowded at all! bar did not have coconut rum for a baybreeze and jack and coke we ordered COKE was flat!! not worth the money at all just to see the sheraton’s all over the walls and ceiling

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
