"I was happy to see that the dining room is open again! Today I stopped by this location for waffle fries and a hazelnut shake. The fries were perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of salt. The shake had the strong hazelnut flavor I was hoping for. Other places are so wimpy about adding hazelnuts; I want ALL the hazelnuts! I miss the older recipe with larger nut pieces, but the new smoother version has the right flavor and is nice and thick so it still hit the spot. The staff was all friendly and the restrooms were clean. I'd be happy to return to this location. I was surprised though at the wait time, like the fries were cooked first, then the shake was made while I was already eating the fries... I was the only person in the dining room and there were only a few cars in the drive through, and it seems inefficient that two different people wouldn't be making these items so they came out at the same time. I also think it's weird to have great big buttons for tip percentages at a fast food place aren't tips for servers at sit down places? The staff was great but I don't really understand what the tip is for if the food is picked up at the drive through or ordered at the counter. Prices are high enough I'd think they can pay people decently. Burgerville overall is my go to spot for fish and chips. I'm not a fan of the burgers, I think they are just okay and not worth the price. Fish and shakes though, big yes!"

"That's a good idea. Burgerville is again open for customers inside and has reopened their outdoor picnic area. I don't like it when fast food staff ask for a tip, especially not a dizzying 18%, 25% or 30% tip. For this reason, I have reduced my rating from 5 to 3 stars. Traditionally, people do not tap in fast food places. During the COVID many people tipped into fast food restaurants because food workers were injured and we wanted to help them. During the COVID I tipped at fast food places, but that was a COVID thing. COVID is (mostly) over, the Russian Ukraine war continues, and there is massive inflation. Everyone is now financially hurt. Prices for everything have risen, especially fuel and food prices are high. Then the employees of Burgerville (and some other fast food sites) are still encouraging (pressful) customers to give great tips. I don't want to put pressure on leaving a tip at Fastfood Square, especially no big tip. I'm financially injured now. Most people are now hurting. Please stop asking for tips in fast food restaurants. There are still fast food places that do not panhandle for tips. From now on I will quickly choose food places that do not want a tip. Note: The photos of Burgerville, which I uploaded with my review, are photos I took in 2019 (before COVID). I don't remember flying his flags back in 2022 Burgerville. In 2022 they don't have their parasols on the picnic table. When I went there in 2022, there were fewer cars in the parking lot and fewer customers than in 2019. i.e. in 2022 it is less busy than in 2019 than I took the photos."
