"My wife and I are very glad some friends recommended Sally's. We came to San Diego from northern Los Angeles County to celebrate my wife's birthday. And we were extremely pleased with last night's dining experience. First of all, Ryan, our waiter, was very attentive to our needs, besides having a great personality. He even presented my wife with a special, yummy dessert that we both enjoyed. The persimmon burrata salad was very special. Then both of us savored the grilled halibut which was very tasty. The portions were quite generous, too. Towards the end of our meal, Ryan, the assistant manager, came over to our table to engage in a wonderful, friendly conversation. This added touch made our evening one to be remembered. Now we can recommend Sally's to many others"

everything was great, but a 6% surcharge is a lot. I would prefer that everything is taken into account in the trips.

wonderful dinner. eating was perfect, no one makes a better Chilean seabass than the chef at sally’s. my man had the tomahawk black and there was nothing but a bone on the plate, boiled to perfection.

I went in with expectations of good seafood, and was terribly disappointed. The service was good, but the dishes were bland, with over-cooked fish and weird, overly heavy, cheese sauces that were not described on the menu. This is more like a suburban chain restaurant. Our first experience was for lunch! It was fabulous! Our dinner was not at that same standard. All four of us ordered different fish entrees....only one...the Ahi, was good. The fish entrees needed more seasoning and cooked longer. The side pastas were dry and flavorless. We will give it one chance

Had a nice Valentines day dinner there. We were already at Sally's for a reception and had dinner reservations outside. It was a bit chilly and they graciously moved us inside. A full menu was available, the waiter was very engaging, and the food was delicious. I wouls highly recommend Sally's. My wife enjoyed leftovers the next day before we left San Diego!
