"On my usual business trip in Peoria and had to have MARIACHI Mexican food. OMG ! Now this is some great tasting food ! This is my third time here and I have not been disappointed. The food is fresh and delicious ! I had Diablo Shrimp today and it was outstanding. It's a great place for parties, family and friends gathering. They do have a lunch and extended dinner menu. Drinks are great as well. I wish they were near Chicago area. I texted all my friends and family about this nice place. I will be back again ! Thank you !"

"Waitress had a short attitude and not very attentive. She seemed annoyed at additional requests. Up charged a small salad I had ordered. I questioned it when it arrived and she said( as she was placing on the table), “oh, it doesn’t come in a small size with chicken”. She shouldn’t have assumed I wanted the larger size. Once we paid she stopped checking in. No water refills, etc."

"I’ve tried this restaurant a few times. Each time the food has been great (minus the hair we found in our burrito the first time) but the service is horrible. What’s even more upsetting, we were forced to pay gratuity because we had 3 adults and 4 kids in our party. It took forever to get chips once we were seated, about 10 min. Then we ordered drinks, another 10 minutes. Once our food came out we were missing items. It took another 10-15min for missing items to come out. We had to ask for silverware, napkins, drink refills etc. We were patient but never once did the manager or waitress come over and apologize. That day I definitely wouldn’t have left a tip. That’s why I believe they ended up adding gratuity to our bill. They knew they were getting a mandatory tip so they definitely did not show any customer service! I will never go back to that place nor would I recommend it!"

"Some of the best Mexican food in Houston. Tortillas are homemade and you can eat them without anything?.(bring that I was never a fan of tortillas, that was impressive). I?ve had just about everything including the Al a cart items. The food has been consistently good for all the years I?ve come. Dining in, the waitresses are always kind and prompt. The only issues I?ve ever had are the lady at the counter. I?ve been coming their for at least 11 years and from my very first encounter, she?s been rude. I even tip well when I?m ordering to-go. If you can look past her, everything else is great. Order the shrimp burrito and a margarita!"

"typically I am happy to eat my family here. the waitress spilled my son and my mother in the law menu when she serves it. my and the enchiladas of my man were hardly warm. eating was not good as usual. the waitress stares us again and again and we're done that she didn't even come to look at us. it took 3 times to make our order right. and while we asked to go container, she went away while we tried to tell her how many we needed. this is on Tuesday 2/22/2022. we're here at 1630. she is the worst waitress of all time. oh and stood on our table and saw us eating in our crates as if she was gonna kick us out. there's only one other group here."

"Friendly service, amazing food at a great value. The owner even came over to make sure we were happy and satisfied. Of course we were, every thing was fantastic. Mind you, this is after seeing the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular and the Rockefeller Christmas Tree... so we had pretty high expectations. We were NOT disappointed."

"This place is a disappointment compared to the delicious food in Morelia. I suggest changing the name, lowering prices, hiring a new chef, and simplifying the menu. There are too many options, but clearly, they can't provide quality for what they offer. The prices are excessive, and unfortunately, the food falls short. The salsas lack authenticity and taste like store-bought versions. I should have taken it as a warning when I noticed there were no cars in the parking lot. Save your hard-earned money and eat elsewhere. What a letdown—I felt cheated. My comments are honest and heartfelt. If the owner truly cares about the restaurant, they should taste their own food, make changes, and do so immediately."

"Reliable TexMex Fare; popularly priced Happy Hour margaritas; cheerful service. Street taco platters are an excellent option that is not widely locally available. I would rate this restaurant and Dos Rios by far the best TexMex dinner venues in town."

"6 out of 5 stars! Best Mexican restaurant I've been to in Austin! They make all chips and tortillas FRESH! The salsa is incredible, not watery at all, very thick with good char, not too spicy either, and they give a generous portion. They also serve ranch on the side with your chips. The tables are very nice, this is a well maintained, clean, decorative interior perfect for celebrations. Service is fast and very professional with genuine friendliness. The plates are extremely generous, a huge amount of food, very surprising that the price isn't much higher given the sheer quantity of food, that tells you that they are so successful because of the QUALITY that they are ABLE to be generous with you. This place is amazing and I will be recommending this place to everyone. Thank you. (Plato Charro pictured)."

"Traveling to southern Florida during a bad coastal storm we decided to drive down the middle of the state to avoid most of the rain and ended up at Chuy’s for dinner. We didn’t expect much as it looked like another chain mexican restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the meal. Yes, it's a Mexican chain restaurant but with excellent food, good service and nice decor. Our server was efficient and friendly. She came over right away to take our drink order and bring us chips and salsa. She answered a few of our questions and told us that almost anything can be customized. This was a great tip as I could change a combination meal to be meatless. I am not a vegetarian but don’t like meat on most Mexican items. We both ordered Skinny Margaritas with Hornitos Tequila. The Margaritas were good but even better after we ordered a shot of Hornitos that we shared in our Margaritas. The pour was large, which we expected to be an exact 1.5 oz shot. The meals were delicious. They have a glass enclosed booth where someone was making the tortillas. You can get flour or corn tortillas."

"I stopped by on a whim for nopales tacos and I'm so glad I did! The tacos were both tasty and authentic, with serrano peppers that were so deliciously spicy they gave me hiccups! I quickly quelled the heat with some horchata and kept on eating. It seems they also offer great breakfast options, breakfast burritos, dinner combos, and more. Some items are a bit pricier, likely due to the prime location just off Whipple and El Camino, which probably drives up their rent. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit. There's plenty of parking available since there's a 7-11 in the same mini-mall. The service was friendly, and the tables were clean, with good COVID-19 precautions in place – we’re not completely out of the pandemic yet!"

"I advise them to arrive early, even if they have a reservation. I had waited for a 10 minute, although I had a reservation, because some big parties arrived shortly before me and they had to catch up. the restaurant was empty and there were only two servers I could say. also the bar area was closed. after we were sat, we ordered drinks, but had to wait for the person who brought the margaritas back from lunch to get them so that our food arrived before our meal. the tacos and enchiladas had little flesh. I am sympathetic today for server and retail. they do the best they can give today. the server we definitely enjoyable and attentive, and that was appreciated."

"Took us an hour and some change to get our food. I was starving and hangry. Our waiter was polite and did what he could. However, I spent my night in my car since baby got fussy waiting and mommy distracted at this whole experience. If manager would have walked over and apologized for the wait maybe I would feel different. The rest of my party said that the food was burnt , no meat and quality low."

"The service was extremely disappointing. We waited 40 minutes for our order, and when the waiter finally arrived, she only had my husband's plate. When I inquired about my meal, she informed me that it was still being prepared, and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes. When my soup finally arrived, it was cold as well. I cannot recommend this place; we will definitely not be returning."

"This restaurant feels more like a diner, with people constantly coming in and out for takeout orders, creating a draft that can be annoying. The tortilla chips were not good, but at least they were free. The dips were unique, although there was no salsa like I am used to. Unfortunately, my fajitas had a hair in them, causing me to rate the place lower than it probably deserves. Overall, there was nothing exceptional to make me want to come back again."

"I recently dined at Mariachi in Millburn and it was a delightful experience! The restaurant has a beautiful Mexican decor that is truly stunning. The service was friendly and attentive, and there was a wide variety of Mexican dishes to choose from, including some unique house specialties. All of the entrees we tried were delicious and came out quickly. From steak to fish tacos to ceviche, everything was well-prepared and flavorful. The fajitas Mariachi were a standout dish. For dessert, we enjoyed flan (the best I've ever had), pistachio cheesecake, tres leches cheesecake, and a flourless chocolate cake - the perfect end to a wonderful meal. We will definitely be returning soon!"

"Beautiful little neighborhood gem. I looked at other reviews where the customer said they had a good meal and then ordered something different the next time and it wasn't good so she changed her star rating from 5 to 1. What d*ck move. This is a local owned business that needs all the support they can get. Just don't order the meal you didn't like! Yelpers are so on another level. I have had great meals here and not so great meals. But guess what?...I'm not going to order the not so great meals again. Duh. Be kind, yelpers....especially to the little guys out there. Love you, Amigos."

"To start off with, we had reservations for and arrived about There was no line, but we were told we have to rage until to be seated outside. And was about before we finally got a seat. Then we were given a waiter who was having an off night. Our soup and salad were not delivered before the meal as we had requested. The salad and soup are both wrong. But then we were assigned a new waiter named Andre who was super. The food was good. Having a heater outside would have been a nice touch as it was chilly. I felt like we were penalized for wanting to sit outdoors. We are still not comfortable dining indoors due to COVID. Even the waiter initially was not told we were sitting out there so it was a while before we received drinks, chips, etc.We had called ahead to verify that there were doing outdoor seating and so since it was offered it seemed reasonable that we should be treated just as any other customer. Andre did save the day as did our busser with making sure our drinks were refilled and food to our liking"
