"I hadn't visited this restaurant in a while, and unfortunately, it wasn't as good as I remembered. The food didn't seem freshly made; it felt like it had either been reheated or left out for too long. I ordered the Fish and Chips, expecting crispy batter and flaky fish, but instead received mushy fish that tasted like a bland blended fish meal, all covered in a thick doughy batter. I exchanged it for the poke, which was decent, but the rice was stiff and cold, suggesting it had been sitting around for hours. The coconut shrimp was overcooked and also didn't seem to be prepared to order. On the other hand, some members of my party who had steak, chicken, or salmon thought their meals were good. The fish tacos, however, disappointed one of my companions, who found them overcooked. The ambiance is lovely, given the waterfront location, and the service was good. However, I found the additional 5% surcharge on the bill, labeled as a way to "offset costs," quite frustrating, especially since the meal was already on the pricey side. Overall, we did enjoy our late lunch."
