"Celebrating our anniversary, we were seated right next to the bar. If I wanted to dine in a sport bar, I would have went to one. Our server was also the bartender, so our service suffered when she got a rush. Our wine and water went unfilled for at least minutes. The meal itself was okay. The salad was crispy and fresh. Steaks were seasoned nicely, but somewhat overcooked. If we had been seated near a window, even in the bar area it would have been better. The dining room looked nice. I spoke with the manager and he blamed our seating choice on the online reservation system. This was our second visit to Reds, I can’t say I can recommend them or I will ever return."

"What a bummer of an experience. We booked an Easter Brunch reservation and it stated it was at the 2nd floor restaurant. When we go there, we found out they were hosting in a 4th floor ballroom. It was very stark, quiet and felt like we were at a business meeting vs. a $65 per head breakfast. I do think they should have noted that it would not be served in a restaurant but rather a ballroom. I would not have made the reservation as there was no ambiance at all in the ballroom and at that price tag, I would have just eaten at Oceanaire. The four of us were seated and wanted to order some mimosas to start us off. We sat there for over 15 minutes with no one coming to our table, and finally had to stop someone and ask them if we go to bar ourselves or if someone takes our order for drinks. They took our order and it took about another 10 minutes to get drink. Wide variety of food which was good, but there was no service. Our dirty dishes sat on our table, and as it was a buffet, we were looking to get these dishes removed. My husband ended up bussing our table. About 4 hours after we ate, my son became violently ill. He had the roasted chicken at the buffet while my husband and I did not. When we received the check, a 20% service gratuity fee. I am a very good tipper, but struggle having $54 added as a tip when we had no one come by our table except once to drop off 3 drinks we ordered AFTER we had to flag someone down for it."

"I visited this restaurant while traveling and was very hungry. Having dined all over the world, I have high standards for quality food and service. I’ve even raised my own livestock for meat and have experience hunting, so I know what great flavors are all about. I can confidently say that the meat here was outstanding—delicious and expertly prepared. The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Everything was superb, including the dessert! I’m visiting from out of state but this restaurant deserves a glowing review. Overall, I give it a perfect score: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5."

"We have been here about 4 times and always enjoy it. The food and cocktails are very good. I recommend this restaurant only if you share all the food with your group. The small plates come out at all different times. This is fun when everyone is sharing since things keep coming out at different times. If your group doesn't want to share, it is very awkward because some people will get dishes and others won't have any. The order in which things come out is totally random."

"First time at Rose and Thorn. Just wasn't impressed with the food or the drink I had. Ordered the empanadas which are fried. The shell was very crunchy but the inside meat was cold. Then they brought the white sangria. The menu said it was wine with fruit, but the fruit was one piece of dried lemon and one piece of dried orange. Just not what I think of when I think of sangria. For dinner, I ordered the chicken avocado salad. It was greens with pickled onions, sliced avocado and chicken salad. There was no dressing on the salad. I don't like a lot of dressing, it was a bit dry for no dressing. To be fair I didn't say anything about any of it, just didn't feel it was worth it. My companion did like their pork chop, but my meal was a bust. Seems like they will need to step up their game to make it in the competitive Denver restaurant scene."

"Food is fantastic. The appetizer choices are great. If you just wanna go in for your favorite cocktail and have a couple of apps, the owner will walk up to you and ask you how everything is and will chat with you for a few moments. The audience is average, but very comfortable and friendly. Even if you don't know anybody by the time you leave, you will have talked with someone and enjoy your time while you're there."

"This have a been my go to spot for Sunday brunches for some time now over the last year. This must have been an off day for the chef as my meatballs were delivered two thirds raw not once but twice. Normally I would have given this Tapas spit one star but this is the first time they failed to deliver. It wasn’t even a busy afternoon... Will be back again soon to see if they’ve upped their game."

"Cubano Sandwich Sweet Plantains. The mustard and char on the ham prevented me from tasting the Garlic Sriracha Aioli. But I ate the whole thing, so it wasn 't a bad sandwich. The char on the Plantains was kinda nice. Bananas were sweet and tangy. Tropical Bavarian Betty dessert on in house menu white cake with Bavarian cream, crushed pineapple, whip cream, toasted coconut according to menu . I did not taste toasted coconut. And I forgot there was cake involved because it was lost somewhere in the middle of the Parfait style dessert. Even though I ate the whole thing, I kept thinking, if only there were chopped pecans on top... But that 's just me. 'Mamma ' was all over the customer service. Daughter ? 'Not the mamma ' lost her focus even moreso after her son and boyfriend arrived. Mammas and the Tapas regulars and first timers like me where there. The dining area was filling up. Take out orders were coming and going also. I sat at the bar. I do not recommend you do this if you want to be in the thick of it all. Everyone was friendly. I will go back. There are several more items on the menu I 'd like to try. P.S., I just realized I wasn 't charged for the Arnold Palmer that the 'Not the mamma ' served me. Feel free to add it on my next bill. "I had never been a customer at this restaurant before, but I found myself in the area after a long bike ride and was looking for a meal to boost my energy. I approached the bouncer to inquire about the menu, and he was incredibly honest with me. He explained that they primarily serve appetizers and that the cook was running late, so if I was very hungry, I would be better off finding somewhere else to eat. He even took the time to recommend nearby spots, which I appreciated since I was too tired to cycle further. I kept an eye on him while checking out other options, and I must say, I've never experienced such outstanding customer service without actually being a customer."

"Sadly, I feel this place has gone downhill. I think they used to be branded as a Latin grill, now they 're calling themselves Tex-Mex . There 's really nothing Tex Mex about it. Dishes like arepas and shrimp and grits are not Tex Mex, there are no frozen margaritas, it 's like they 're confused about what they want to be. I came here for dinner so I can 't speak to the brunch menu but items like maduros Or green plantains were not available. Service was great. Salsa portion with chips was stingy. Very small bowl of guacamole was $9. Good, but very overpriced. I ordered shrimp and grits. They didn 't bring a kids menu so I assume they don 't have one, which means we ordered a $9 plate of wings that my child barely touched. The chipotle shrimp and grits $18) were good and unique, but they were really light on the grits, the cheapest part of the dish? I guess I 'm glad they didn 't skimp on the shrimp but it was unbalanced. Overall, pretty pricey, not really Tex Mex, not really Latin grill, we would have been much happier eating in the food court."

"Arcade is okay. Fine selection of games, some not functioning perfectly, to be expected. Credit count per game is high.Mid day gamifying doesn't make me want to ever come back.As I played the coin pusher, a staff member came by and reset all of the cards and coins, right in front of me. The second I stepped away to add credits to my account, with the rarest card on the playing surface, she swept in and reset the game. I understand doing this at closing, but doing it right in front of customers is just wrong."
