"We love dining at Malones ...it was our one anniversary and we met at Malones on our first date .The food was outstanding as always ...I enjoyed the king crab and filet mignon ...I ask the sweet server to box my potato and filet ...and fiancé didn't finish his either ...to box his also ...I was excited to have it for my lunch but the server only boxed his and not mine ...the server was awesome though ...I'm sure Malones will make it right ."

"Went during restaurant week. During our reserved time there was only 1 other table that was occupied. We were greeted quickly and servers were polite and attentive. We chose items from the special menu; appetizers were good with no complaints. However, when the entrees arrived, they were not hot. The shrimp and grits were warm and the scallop Benedictine was just under warm and while the scallops were cooked they could have been cooked a little longer; I also expected more than 2 scallops. We both had the chocolate chess pie which was good."

"We literally just googled places for lunch as we were driving by the area and decided to stop it. It was good. I got the apple walnut salad with chicken and it was huge. Our waitress was helpful and the vibe was fun. Glad we found it. "Jason was our server and he was superb. However, the server assistance was non existent. We were never offered refills of water or bread and the dishes stacked up on the end of the table (a very small table for two) until the manager came and removed them. And he came by because I needed to inform someone that my husbands steak was grossly over cooked. He fixed that but the crab he also ordered was cold. He would not let me return it because he was aggravated and hungry. It was our anniversary and we always choose Maloneâs for our celebration because the food and service are usually exemplary. Last night fell far short of our expectations and the manager tried to fix it by comping our meal. This was not our intention and while we appreciate the gesture our evening was spoiled. We usually go to the Maloneâs in Palomar and maybe we should have last night. I think in the future we may choose somewhere else to celebrate; our time and money are too important to worry about a bad experience."

"I've tried barbecue all over the South, and this is some of the best I've ever had. The pulled pork was tender and packed with flavor, while the ribs had the perfect amount of seasoning. The sides, which can really make or break a meal, were all outstanding. I highly recommend the corn pudding, collard greens, and even the cole slaw (and I’m not usually a fan of cole slaw!). Be sure to grab dessert to go, as you’ll hardly have space for it after your meal. While the food is delicious on its own, I found the original sauce enjoyable. If you're a fan of vinegar-based sauces, definitely try the Montreal variety. They even know how to make unsweetened tea right! I will definitely be returning."
