The performance felt generic and overly commercialized, with dancers who lacked the vigor and authenticity we were hoping for. The musical trio did a commendable job, and the fire dancers at the end provided a brief highlight, though there’s definitely room for improvement.
The emcee did an adequate job, but the story connecting the various dance performances was complicated and hard to follow. On a positive note, the emcee successfully engaged the audience with a group dance and hula lessons for those interested.
