The service and show were was great! The food was ok or maybe I just don't really like Hawaiian food? I reserved with an online special that allowed my family I to bypass the regular line go to the buffet first nice perk! I would highly recommend this Luau.

This was our first luau so I have nothing to compare it to. We had a good time and had good conversations with our table mates. The food and show were both good. My only complaint was being seated directly into the sun until it set, which wasn't so fun. Otherwise an enjoyable evening. View menu

My boyfriend and I did the VIP package. We had front row seating for the show, great service, there was an open bar and with the vip package we could have all of the mixed drinks we wanted. The entertainment was really good and so was the food. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. If you get a chance I highly recommend going to this luau.

We had a wonderful time at the Royal Lahaina Luau. The views from the beach there are amazing, the sunset was beautiful, and we got great photos of our family along the beach. The food was very good, and the performance by the dancers was so well done. Very impressed and would recommend highly, especially if you are staying on Kaanapali the location of this luau is so convenient.

I have been to many Luaus in the past and had vowed not to go to any more, however, my 2 nieces (11 and 12 years old) had never been to Hawaii so we felt they needed to experience it. This was great for all ages. Great show and audience participation. Food was just OK. D rinks were good and we liked that we got to keep the tiki mugs. My reservation fee should have been $79 per person since I was staying at the Royal Lahuana. I regestered on the internet so I was supposed to receive all these perks. It was $216 plus tax. I am livid and will not go to a Luau here again. I would never recommend you to anyone. I was forced to pay this at the register where other people were behind us. I disputed the cost and the person behind the register said this was the price. I would like an explanation and my money back!

I expected this to be a tourist show; and of course it is. Very good and entertaining presentations. It 's a buffet; and the selections were superb. Our waiter for drinks kept us well watered thru the evening; another drink before the last was empty. Make sure you book VIP seating thu open table; the seats were In the Front Row; with premium drinks included. I 've only done this one luau; but recommend it highly. Downside is checking in; really a confused mess. I had read this in other reviews and can confirm it. My advise is to book open table VIP; and let the cattle herders know you are a VIP guest; as soon as the entry staff learned we were VIP we were moved directly to our table right at...

Drinks are very strong and you'll definitely get your money's worth on at least the food and drinks. The buffet had various foods for all diets. My boyfriend and I are on a no-carb plan we still had plenty to choose from without having to pick things off. The pulled pork was good but kind of dry and most definitely not the pig that we saw come out of the ground. The chicken was the most delicious entree in my opinion. The skin was thin and crunchy but the meat was so tender it nearly fell off the bone. The staff did a wonderful job getting everyone to the buffet table in an orderly fashion.
