"I don't know where to begin, but I'll start with the ambiance. When you see the exterior of this restaurant, you'll feel like you've been transported to a tropical island. The bright and colorful painted walls scream sunshine yellow and Jamaican water blues. Inside, the bar greeted us with neon lights and a touch of club vibes mixed with a speak-easy feel. The art representing the Caribbean people added a unique and exclusive touch to the atmosphere. We ordered the Coco Breeze cocktail, which was amazing with its mix of Coconut Tequila, Orange Curacao, Mango Nectar, Pineapple Juice, Lime, and Agave. Highly recommend trying it! Now onto the food. We started with the jerk chicken wings, which were perfectly charred and flavorful. For our entrees, we shared The Jazzy Pasta, which had a delicious Rasta pasta vibe. The sauce had a nice kick, the vegetables were plentiful, and the chicken was moist and well-cooked. It was a bit heavy due to the cream sauce, but the portion was so generous that we took some home. The real star of the show was the OxTail dish with coconut rice and peas. The medley of flavors was unforgettable, and I couldn't get enough of it. Even the sweet plantains on the side were well-done. We rarely visit the same restaurant twice in NYC, but Jazzy might just be an exception. We'll definitely be coming back for more."
