"I spent $30 on a $22 meal through Uber Eats just to avoid going out. Unfortunately, Legend messed up my order and claimed it was a mistake from the kitchen, suggesting I pick up the correct order myself. So I ended up paying for delivery and still had to go get the right food. When I arrived, one of the employees rolled her eyes at me and walked away. Times are tough right now, and every dollar counts. The money and gas I used for one meal could have bought me three."

"Our food was great but the service was awful. We waited 30 minutes to receive our check, as did the table next to us that had small children. During that time, our plates weren't even cleared. When our table of 6 asked for refills on drinks, she took each glass away, one at a time, and brought it back. Whenever we asked for something, such as salt and pepper, she acted as if we were putting her out or asking for something special or unreasonable. She wore a rumpled shirt that looked like she had just gotten out of bed, not something you expect for the menu price. Our service at this restaurant has never been very friendly but at least we received service."

"My experience at Queens Caribbean was nothing short of a complete disaster. The food was inedible, with a terrible odor and taste that made me feel sick to my stomach. The dishes were not properly cooked, and some were even burnt and over-seasoned. "Happy New Years everyone! I am actually super lazy when it comes to writing reviews but had to take a moment to warn others especially if you have kids. Please DO NOT buy anything here. I purchased an order consisting of 2 curry chicken and rice and 1 brown stew chicken and rice. My husband and I ended up sharing one meal and putting the other two dishes in the fridge. The next day my husband went to heat up the food and the rice smelt sour and was slimy in both. Mind you we ordered rice and peas and got rice and beans in all. I thought food was made fresh here everyday but clearly not. It’s a shame honestly because we paid over 80 bucks for these meals via Ubereats. Trust me try another location before you pick this one. I rather go to McDonald’s and that says a lot in itself."

"Terrible Food! It's been years that I have been to this restaurant, that was good many years back.. The food is NOT good anymore. I purchased the lamb fried rice, the lamb was extremely hard and a lot of bones instead of meat. The meat was definitely very old! The broccoli and garlic tasted like they added a ton of sugar in it, nasty tasting food. Watered-down drinks. They also have a tacky posting at every table, stating their is a 20% charge for tips on all dine in checks."

"Unfortunately, my experience was very unimpressive. I came on Sunday for their bottomless brunch buffet and bottomless mimosas. Bottomless brunch buffet is $34/pp and the bottomless mimosas are an additional $12/pp. I had been wanting to try Jerk N Jive since I moved to Maryland 3 years ago, but their prices always threw me off. I figured the bottomless brunch was a good opportunity to give them a try (I was drawn in by the bottomless mimosas since there's only one other place I know in Frederick that offers that lol . Walking in to the place, I was pleasantly surprised with the vibe. It's a lot nicer than I was expecting. Not fancy by any means, but not casual or hole in the wall. It looks clean and it's not too noisy. Average noise level at most. Our server was very attentive. He checked on us several times throughout our time there. It was not very busy when we got there (11am Sunday and didn't get too much busier while we were there. Now to the food: very unimpressive!!! I was actually quite disappointed with the buffet food. It seemed to be kept warm not hot, so by the time you got to your seat your food was cold already. With the cost of the buffet, I was expecting so much more. For what you get, it seemed more like a $20 buffet than a $34 one! I tried the curry chicken (was good! , the peas and rice (not bad , sausage and bacon (O-K , gravy (not warm/hot enough!!! It was O-K , jerk salmon (needed more flavor, kinda bland , waffle (AMAZING! , French toast (meh , fried chicken (very bland , and an omelet from the omelet station (MEH! Too eggy for me considering the toppings ratio. Maybe I should've asked for a little less egg . The bottomless mimosas comes with a flavor you choose and they just bring you a bottle. I chose strawberry so they gave me a bottle of champagne and strawberry syrup. I had to pour it and mix it myself. Overall, my favorite things here were the curry chicken and the waffles!! Not even the mimosa made anything better. I'm glad I tried it but I don't think I'll be back. I think it's overpriced for the quality you actually get. I feel like you pay just as much as Dutch's Daughter for lesser quality presentation and food. I love a great bottomless brunch, especially mimosas! They would've had me as a returning customer had it been on point."

"I wish I had discovered this place sooner! Now that we've finally found Richie's, we order from there once a week. It's the only restaurant where my husband, daughter, and I all agree on our favorites. We've never had a bad meal, and the service is outstanding. During my first visit to pick up an order, a woman recognized me, called me by name, and efficiently guided me to the register to get my order right away. The quality of the food and the service is so exceptional that I highly recommend skipping the chain restaurants and visiting this charming family-run gem instead."

"Wow, where do I even begin? From the moment I walked in, the service was incredibly warm and friendly! Samantha greeted me with a smile, made me feel welcome, and handed me the menu. "Located in a less than picturesque area of Glen Burnie, surrounded by used car lots and transmission repair shops, this restaurant may not seem like much from the outside. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing food and great service. I ordered a simple jerk chicken sandwich with fries, and was blown away by the tender, juicy, and spicy chicken nestled between slices of sweet coco bread. The homemade pineapple ginger juice was also a highlight of the meal. The staff, particularly Marlon, was incredibly friendly and helpful, suggesting I try their whole snapper on my next visit. Overall, despite its less than ideal location, I will definitely be returning to this restaurant soon. If only it were situated by the water or a marina, I would become a regular customer."

"I was trying to find a cuban restaurant similar to the Versailles Cuban restaurant in West LA. White rice, black beans and sweet plantains brought back great memories. We started w empanadas, couldn't wait for them to cool and so yummy we burnt our mouths. You could split one (there are 2 esp if you're getting a plate. I had the fried pork, daughter had mofongo (Jo Koy, is this similar to what you talk about? . That had green plantains, sweet plantains and yucca. THEN they add meat and rice. Mofongo would be enough. It's alot of food! AC was getting repaired so it was super hot and stuffy. Don't forget to try the adult capri sun! Definitely want to try more."

"Unfortunately I arrived to pickup a Grubhub order which states that it had been confirmed shortly before I arrived (closer to 9p.m. I went to complete the order specifically because of the confirmation.However when I arrived I was told that they didn 't have any Grubhub orders and they hadn 't confirmed anything by the young lady sweeping the front.I asked her was she the only in there because after doing over 1000 Grubhub deliveries, I know that the confirmation is usually done directly by restaurants. If that was the case, I 'd prefer an honest response about not being able to complete the order.I hope that in the future they turn off online ordering sooner or cancel orders that come in too late because I as the driver wasted time being there and I am sure that the customer is even more disappointed.As a first encounter I am unsure of if would want to return as a driver and I was disappointed because I am always looking for new Caribbean spots to frequent and tell people about.On the plus side, the atmosphere of the store was nice with music and the store was clean.I hope to have a better experience next time."

Upon entering, the employee at the door did not welcome us in with a smile, making us feel unwelcome. To add insult to injury, the server who attended to us seemed a bit racist and gave us subpar service. It was just us and another table, yet the server gave them better service as they were not a minority.Despite the poor service, I must admit that the food was great. The flavors were bold and the portions were generous. However, it was disappointing to have such a negative experience due to the poor service and racist undertones.As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect and given the same level of service as any other patron, regardless of my ethnicity. It's a shame that in this day and age, such prejudices still exist in the hospitality industry.Overall, while the food was great, the service was lacking and the establishment needs to address its outdated decor. Until they can provide equal and fair treatment to all customers, I cannot recommend this restaurant."

"It has been said if you want to understand and learn about a culture, you should eat their food. I like Jamaican jerk chicken, I like rice and peas, also known as rice with beans. The flavor of the Caribbean, found with the bahamians as well as the Haitians. Those flavors are to be found here. The people who waited on me were very friendly and inviting. I went here for lunch with a friend he had the oxtail he remarked that it was very good. I had the jerk chicken with the barbecue sauce on it. Understand they put barbecue sauce all over the plate not just on the chicken. So if you ask for barbecue you better love barbecue sauce because they put lots on it. You should try this place you may find it to your liking."

"Highly disappointed!! Need to work on both delivery and pick up service. This was the fourth time I ordered food and had to wait a long time to get it. Ordered delivery this time around the driver took 2 hours to deliver. Call the restaurant the lady kept saying the food will be there soon, and she will call me back to let me know what’s going on. She never called lied! Only to find out the food never left the restaurant no driver assigned to deliver the food. Order was placed at 3:50 food got delivered way after 5. The driver said the restaurant never called him and reached out to him mins after 5. What made it worst they gave me the wrong order! Sickening."
