"I ordered the beef steak, chicken tempura, and the new California roll. Right off the bat, they placed the hot chicken tempura rolls on the same plate as the California rolls, which made the Cali rolls warm and unappetizing. The beef steak was overcooked and quite tough, with mediocre seasoning—nothing impressive at all. They also managed to mess up the white rice, which is quite an achievement since it’s usually hard to get that wrong. It was rubbery and too firm. I won’t be ordering from here again; the food is overpriced for the low quality."

"A mixed bag this time around: Order was correct; delivery was timely and courteous, no problem there; and their Wonton Eggdrop Soup was wonderful as always. However, the other items were not up to Spring Garden's usual excellent standard. The meat in the White Meat General Tso's Chicken was very dry, tough, and skimpy. And while the shrimps in the Shrimp w/ Lobster Sauce were fresh and ample sized, the sauce wasn't what we expected not spoiled or bad, just odd tasting. Maybe we're just used to a different type of Lobster Sauce, or maybe Spring Garden was just having an off day, who knows? In any event they're still on our go to list and we'd definitely be happy to order from them again; we just hope next time they'll be back to their usual five star quality."

"This is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Twin Cities. They opened many years ago in a shopping mall at the front of our neighborhood. We frequently went there to grab dinner and were always satisfied completely with the service andmost of all THE CONSISTANCY OF THE FOOD. Having moved 15 miles from them 10 years ago, we still drove down several times peryear to enjoy their food. When my daughter and I went for lunch yesterday, she at 21, said to me: You know why Mei Wei issuch a great restaurant dad? Because there food is always consistent. It always tastes exactly like you expect it to. What achip off the old block...I 've been telling her for years that this is the most important quality a restaurant can have. Ownersare friendly and courteous. Service is always good. If you have time to venture out and drive to get here, or if you live in thesouth metro this will not be a wasted trip! Head to Mei Wei and enjoy a well prepared, flavorful, and consistent meal! Ihighly recommend trying the Pan Fried Dumplings, Singapore Fried Rice Noodles, and Mushu Pork!"

"I ordered fried shrimp for a total of $21. The delivery girl charged me $23 and they brought me burnt shrimp. When I called to complain, the person on the phone had an attitude and said, "What do you want me to do about it?" I requested a refund, but she said she couldn't just send someone to give me my money back. When I asked why I was charged $23 instead of $21, she said it was for the delivery fee. Shouldn't they inform customers when they are charging for delivery? Overall, the service was terrible."

"I've been ordering from this restaurant for the past five years; it's been my go-to spot for Chinese food delivery. Although the cleanliness could use some improvement, the food has always been good. Last night, I placed an online order at 8:25 PM, and they advertised that they were open until 10:30 PM. I received a confirmation email stating that my food would be delivered by 9:20 PM, which seemed like a long wait, but they usually overestimate the time. When 9:30 PM came and I still hadn’t received my food, I started to get worried. I hadn’t received any emails aside from the initial confirmation, and there were no missed calls. I tried calling the restaurant, but no one answered; it just kept ringing. Finally, at 9:50 PM, I made the decision to drive to the restaurant myself. I got there just before 10:00 PM, and it was completely dark inside except for the cooler. The sign on the door said they were open until 10:30 PM. Luckily, it looks like my card wasn't charged, but this experience made it clear: I won’t be ordering from them again. They’ve lost a long-time customer."

"When I placed my order over the phone, the gentleman I spoke with was quite rude. When I arrived, I found the place almost empty, with only two patrons in the corner. I ordered egg foo yong, shrimp fried rice, and garlic pepper wings, which came to a total of $36. Upon getting home, I discovered that the gravy for the egg foo yong was simply thrown into a box without a lid, resulting in hot gravy spilling all over my car and contaminating the other food items. The shrimp egg foo yong was drenched in so much soy sauce that it resembled beef egg foo yong instead. As for the garlic pepper wings, there was so much garlic on them that it felt overwhelming. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The man’s attitude was terrible, and when I called to express my concerns, he informed me that they’ve never used containers. I won’t be returning."

"While I have other favorites for purely Northern, Southern, and Dim Sum cuisine, I was pleasantly surprised by this establishment. It opened five years ago, and although I had passed by for years thinking it was just another average Chinese spot, I finally decided to visit a few months ago. I discovered that they offer dishes not found in other nearby restaurants, and they excel at preparing authentic dishes from both Northern and Southern China. I even requested a dish that wasn't on the menu, and I was delighted when they were able to accommodate me with a fantastic meal. I've dined at Chinese restaurants in cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver, TX, New York, and Florida, and while this restaurant may not be the absolute best, it stands out as a very good option for this area."

"Beware!!! We both got food poisoning!!! We had the egg drop soup, house lo mein, egg food young, pupu platter, orange chicken and general tso chicken. We got delivery in the evening. Everything seemed to be ok. I ate a little and was fine for about 4 hours, then was sick for the next 30 hours. My bf had more the next day and he was sick all night last night.
