"The food was amazing. The food comes in large portions, so if you order a dish it’s very shareable. If you get “medium” spice, it’s pretty hot The price was nice for three large dishes (around $60+ . Only downside was the amount of time we had to wait for someone to come to our table to order when we first sat down (about 15+ minutes , but overall nice place to take someone."

"I've visited this restaurant almost six times now, and the food is consistently excellent. We had the beef teriyaki and the walnut delight, both of which were delightful. It’s a cute and cozy little place; however, I believe some of the waitstaff could benefit from additional training. Our waitress was very sweet, but I felt there should be more consideration for customers’ dining experiences. She approached our table at least four times, even after I kindly requested to be left undisturbed. While I understand she was trying to ensure we had everything we needed, I ended up feeling rushed. When another waitress came over and asked if we were finished, it really gave me the impression that we were no longer welcome. We hadn't even received our bill yet, and our table was almost cleared! Yes, we were eating slowly, but I think it's important to be able to enjoy a meal at a leisurely pace. I work two jobs, and my cousin travels often, so we appreciate the opportunity to relax and savor our time together. Honestly, I'm not sure if I feel comfortable returning to a place where I don’t feel welcomed."

"claires is an amazing place. I ordered a vegan grilled cheese with avocado tomato and vegan speck. it was the best grilled cheese sandwich I ever had. I also saw the relationship between claire and her employees. claire included her personal in the right menu decision and showed a very high respect for her input. it is clear that this restaurant works with a high degree of integrity, camaradery and warm among the employees, owners and parasols. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be sure to be back many times in the future."

"Overall, it was good. It is Indian food afterall. That said, it wasn 't our favorite. We always have a hard time deciding what to order so we love sampler platters but they don 't have one. The server didn 't seem to knowledgeable about the menu and wasn 't too keen on asking the cooks details we needed to know. We were there for nearly two hours and most of it was spent waiting for our server to come to our table. At first we thought it was because they were busy but about an hour into our visit it died down considerably and we still never saw our server. We had to find extra silverware on our own and eventually had to flag down a host or busboy (not sure) to advise that our daughter 's meal, which was supposed to be mild, was in fact spicy and she couldn 't eat it. He eventually got our server but rather than explain, he just told her we had a problem with our food. When we did explain, she said looked at the order on her device and confirmed it said mild. We were not doubting that she entered the ordered correctly, we 're doubting that it was prepared correctly. Big difference. Next time I think we 'll just drive out to Baymeadows instead and go to Maa Kitchen."

"Hadn’t been to Vin Rouge for years, but had fond memories. We invited two guests. The restaurant was busy, but not especially so. We ordered and then waited. And waited. The drinks finally came. Then we waited. The appetizers took half an hour to arrive, and they were quite tasty. Then we waited. And waited. It was close to 45 minutes between courses. I finally asked the waitress about the delay. The response was to say that the chef said dinner would be out soon. She had been serving other tables and failed to notice my attempts to get her attention. When the mains finally arrived, they were not as described by the wait staff. There was garnish instead of green beans. There were fries instead of mashed potatoes. Meanwhile, the noise level had become intolerable. We couldn’t converse with our guests. I found the experience to be extremely embarrassing. Fortunately, with so many excellent restaurants in Durham, we won’t need to endure this sort of treatment again."

"I went to OM for lunch with a group of coworkers. Everyone enjoyed the lunch buffet, which had a wide variety of Indian dishes. There also was a cold table for salads and fruit. All of the dishes were seasoned well, and there were mild and medium spiced dishes, so there was something for everyone's palate. The goat and chicken curries were among the standout dishes. The naan was a bit chewy for my taste, as I prefer crispier naan, but that reflects personal preference more than a criticism. There is no ambiance of which to speak, but it is a comfortable restaurant with friendly staff members, who made sure we were content without hovering over us. OM is not a destination restaurant, unless you are craving Indian food, but if you are it delivers very good Indian food in an informal and relaxed setting"

"I have to say that I was impressed with the food. Specifically because Lafayette is a small city and not a melting pot like Houston, LA or NYC where you can find so many choices. I mentioned that the chef had to be from India, and my guess was right. When I tasted the food, I knew the ingredients were balanced in a way that whoever is cooking, he is someone experienced and had to be born in the Indian region where he can tell the exact taste and balance the spices that makes it delicious. Our waitress Allie was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. She is a great listener and willing to learn. Lamb Biryani: The lamb was cooked to perfection. Very tender, great portion with respect to rice. Many places put 3 pieces and fill the whole plate with rice to save on cost and take away from the quality of the dish. My only comment is the riata should not be in a plastic cup. It took away from the presentation of the metal bowl. Butter Chicken: Sauce was equally balanced in respect to flavor. The creamy sauce was not too much buttery to the point where you can taste the butter and not too watery where you don't taste the main ingredients of the sauce. Chicken was soft and also cooked right. Some places you will eat the chicken and it has that little hard bite as if you're biting an undercooked steak fries. Samosas : Absolutely amazing, with the Tamarindo. Nan Garlic Bread: Delicious, dipping it with the butter chicken sauce was amazing. I would add the crispy bread Pappdum as soon as guests sit on the table. Ambience: I would invest a little bit lighting bulbs, decor here and there, some Indian music in the background to give that full experience. Entrance: Can be decorated better with Indian sari, vase, and accents. Overall, loved the place, keep up the quality of the food. Invest little more in the place and start working on some marketing strategies. This place has lots of potential. Highly recommended"

"They food was amazing! The portions are huge so be prepared and don’t over order like we did! Although, with all of the great items on the menu it will be hard not to order a lot! Food was very flavorful! We had the Bruschetta (must order), shrimp fried rice (good), fried calamari (great). For our entrees we order the chicken (so flavorful) and the prime rib sandwich (good). Others at our table order the salmon and the Ribeye and they said their entrees were great! Drinks were very creative and great! Service was amazing!"

"I ordered chicken briyani and it was the worst one that I ever had. Instead of making a real biryani they add all FROZEN vegetables to my CHICKEN biryani and threw some pieces of chicken in there. The rice were sticking to each other. No biryani flavor at all. Upon seeing reviews now…I see only American people are praising this restaurant’s food bcz may be they actually don’t know how these Nepalese or Indian food should be. All the reviews I see from Indian people are BAD. If you want to try anything Indian, please don’t waste your money or time for this restaurant."

"It was a near-3-star experience with the service 3*, food 3*, ambience 2*. The trip to Henrico (13 miles) and the locations (several miles on a busy strip) might slow down an eager diner staying in the city. We enjoyed a beer and glass of wine, appetizers, and entrée (lamb biryani, sizzling meat platter) and enjoyed all of this. Still, having dined at a number of Indian restaurants, we were unclear as to how India K'Raja was rated so highly."

"We made a reservation for a party of 10, including 3 children, and were not informed that it was "fight night" and we would be asked to leave early. Some of the staff were quite disrespectful, blasting the sound system for checks while we were celebrating our son's birthday. The manager did adjust the bill to make up for the inconvenience, but it did not make up for our unpleasant experience. We would not consider returning to this restaurant."

"Traditional Japanese food and sushi. One of the first and last true Japanese Restaurant in St.Louis. Owners don't speak the greatest english , If your not patient don't come here, its not for you! Also, If your looking for large portion and cheap prices, this is not the place for you! Quality products from overseas comes with a price, if you can't taste a difference go to a place that makes you happy! We are sorry if you have a bad experience here during our busy days, we are short staffed. Its possible here to have a miscommunication, again not the greatest in speaking english, so instead of posting negative insults because you have nothing better to do, but to make yourself feel good about yourself. Lets teach people to love and not to hate. immature comments doesn't make a better world. Thanks for taking a moment, Don't miss out before we close our doors in a few more years!"

"I spent a delightful lunch today. The naan is excellent, they have two clay ovens. I got a veggie dish and it was authentic enough. Medium was just right for my american pallet. I am often disappointed by fake Indian like locals can't tell the difference, but this is not true for Zaika. Also, the staff were exceptionally pleasant. I had a long chat with the manager, because it was late lunch on a weekday. Then the rest of the staff became more friendly. I can't blame staff for being cautious with customers because there are so many rude people that ruin restaurants for us nice people. I suspect that the one star review folks all need a happy meal from MacDonald's instead."

"This place is so good I went two days in a row! The first day I got a delicious sautéed chili momo dish which was unlike anything I’ve had before I got the pork) and the masala chow chow which was soooo good. The next day I got the goat curry which was excellent and we also got the butter chicken and garlic cheese naan $1 up-charge). They also have a local beer for only $3 a can, love it here!!! "Additionally, the prices there are quite steep. They first run your credit card and then present you with the receipt. Unfortunately, they charge extra for salad and tomatoes on sandwiches, which is understandable if you ask for them, but my wife didn't request either. As for the decor, you might expect something that captures an Irish vibe given the name "Chipper Truck." However, the dining area is instead adorned with packed boxes that do little to inspire any sense of place. The chicken appears to be frozen, rather than fresh, which is disappointing. Also, there is no public restroom available, nor any option to wash your hands in the middle of a pandemic. Overall, I strongly advise staying away from this place."

"On Saturday, we tried the vegan lunch buffet at Mount Everest Cuisine. This was their 7th week hosting the midday buffet and one of the owners mentioned that they had a big turnout that day. The buffet costs $9.99 per person and included dishes such as channa masala, dal, saag dal, veggie chow chow, and sweet potato masala, just to name a few. Everything was delicious! We left the restaurant feeling satisfied and pampered after our meal."

"As an enthusiast of Indian cuisine, I make it a point to explore new Indian restaurants whenever they open nearby. However, Aman's has consistently been my top choice for many years. The North Indian dishes are exceptionally prepared, the naan is always fresh and delicious, and the staff is friendly with great service. They genuinely go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, Aman, the owner’s daughter, is a delightful presence, even if she’s only there occasionally."
