"Absolutely fantastic! I loved everything about this place—the food, the atmosphere, and the service! The staff was exceptionally polite. The food was incredible, simple yet packed with flavor. If you're in Atlanta, this should definitely be your go-to Indian restaurant! We ordered mushroom bhaji, chapati, stuffed paratha, mango lassi, and vegetable biryani. The interior is also neat and pleasant."

"The veggie korma, butter chicken, and pomegranate chicken were absolutely incredible. I can't get enough of the papadums served with chutney before the meal; they're simple yet bursting with flavor. We've tried various Indian restaurants, and this one is hands down the best. We live in Mount Vernon and happily make the 45-minute drive once a month just to enjoy this amazing food!"

"In Solano, having a restaurant there means higher cost on the menu items because of rent, etc. Overall I would rather go to a all you can eat Indian buffet restaurant and have extra money in my pockets at the end of the meal. The food Chicken Tiki Marsala, Lamb Korma and Garlic Naan bread wasn't bad but for the price you pay there, the portion sizes were just too small. Ajanta has been in Solano for decades and will be there as a fixture in the neighborhood"

"First time back after Covid and was sad to learn the place had changed ownership. They still had desserts and a salad bar. The familiar dishes were still on the buffet. However, the taste isn’t how I remembered it to be. A little bit bland. Also, their mango ice cream, an old time favorite tasted more of cream than mango. They still provide naan on the side but this time, we only got 2 pieces of naan( 1/2 of a naan each). Staff looked angry and not at all attentive. In the past, if we ran out of naan, the kind lady would ask if we needed more naan. I won’t return."

"If you want to eat the worst possible version of Indian/Nepali cuisine, then this is the place to go. The most basic gravy you can order butter masala how is it possible to ruin it? It was a watery, oily mess with oil floating on top, and a ton of chilli powder added. God knows what recipe this is. This is the simplest dish to make and a universally popular dish and it was so badly done, we could not eat it. AWFUL! I felt terrible to waste food and money but I would end up with some health issues if I had eaten it. Have some pride in your food and profession! This was inedible. I tried to call you back to get talk to you about this but you were closed. Will return tomorrow to speak with in person."

"Have been getting takeout since moving nearby and just went to sit in last night. Happy to find it even better in person! Everything has been excellent, okra, eggplant, classic chicken tikka masala. The naan is fresh and fabulous. My only comment is the fried appetizers are a tad salty (samosa, pakora . But the samosa chaat at the restaurant and the papadum was fabulous. (And the sauces are great too! Update : It’s been a year and we have been regularly coming, everything is amazing!! Highly recommend."

"3 years ago, I gave this place 3 stars. Over the last year or two, I have heard about how great this place is, and I was so confused. When it opened, it wasn't great. I went twice and didn't go back. I was honestly surprised it stayed open! But a lot has changed in 3 years. Our usual Indian spot was closed, so I called Tandoor and ordered our own little buffet. Totally worth it. All together, this was about $70. Will feed 2 people for 3+ days haha. Everything was delicious! Yes, it would probably have been even better to dine in, but takeaway was our plan. The appetizer was the mixed platter. I like these type of options! They're great for indecisive appetizer people like me. My favorite was of course the vegetable pakora. It always is We got both plain and garlic naan. It was probably much more crisp in the restaurant, but it still tasted delicious. For meats, we had Keema Matar and Chicken Tikka Masala. Both were very very good. The Keema Matar might be better than I've had at my normal joint! For veg, we had vegetable curry and saag paneer. If anything was not as good as the rest, it was the vegetable curry, but that does not mean it wasn't good! We do still have like 4 good meals left, so it ended up being just over $10/meal. These days, you can't get much better than that. And you definitely cannot for this deliciousness. Go get you some Tandoor!"

"I have patronized this Indian restaurant since 2002 and loved their (pre covid) weekday lunch buffets, which has been discontinued in the era of the covid pandemic. What brings me back over the years is the exquisitely prepared, well seasoned and tasty cuisine from different parts of India, as well as the wonderful and welcoming hospitality of the Patels. Vegetarians will find a wide range of vegetarian options. I love their vegetarian thali. For this review, my dining companion and I came for our first in person post covid lockdown dinner and ordered our favorites see accompanying photos. The masala chai has the perfect balance of Indian black tea, milk, and cardamom. The vegetarian mulligatawny soup (also available with chicken) is my favorite Indian comfort food soup a hearty South Asian/Tamil soup of lentils, tomatoes, and spices. The curry chicken has the right balance of coconut milk and curry spices and tastes perfect with the naan and paratha (unleavened whole wheat) bread. The tandoori chicken is their signature dish and is tender, juicy, and mouthwatering. For dessert, the kheer (rice pudding with milk and cardamom) is my dining companion's favorite while I love the kulfi (made with sweetened milk and pistachios, slowly cooked and then quicky frozen). It is a testament to the excellent food that keeps me coming back regularly for more since 2002 to the present (2021). I have eaten in so many Indian restaurants in North America, Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia, and I am so proud to say that Tandoor's offerings are as authentic as it gets, without the Americanization."

"This restaurant is a charming and peaceful spot with delicious food. The Nepalese entree was outstanding (and quite large). It would be difficult for one person to finish it alone, and even for two people it might be a challenge. The appetizers, especially the Nepalese dumplings, were tasty. It appeared that they were short-staffed as the service was just okay and the waiter seemed overwhelmed. Some of the other guests were not very understanding, which took away from the overall experience. The bar was closed, possibly due to the staffing issue, but they did offer beer and wine."

"The lunch buffet at this restaurant is truly unbeatable. On one side, you'll find an array of meat curries, while the other features delicious vegetarian options, all bursting with complex flavors and a satisfying level of heat. Although the selection isn't overwhelming, this actually works in your favor, as it can be tough to decide what to put on your plate! There's a salad bar, but it's rather underwhelming. However, fresh naan is served at your table right when you sit down, and tea or lemonade is included in the price. Overall, it’s such a delightful experience!"

"The food is great. The owner is very hospitable. However, each time that I have been to Namaste, the server has had problems understanding my order, which makes things uncomfortable.I really like this place and wish more people knew about it. It is a very lonely restauarant, meaning that it doesn't have a lot of eat in customers. I certainly hope the carryout business is good because it would be a shame for this restaurant to close its doors"

"I used to frequent this restaurant a lot in 2020, and the food was well prepared and extremely flavorful. I moved away for about 3 years and returned to Columbia MD not long ago. And the very first place I made sure to visit was Chutney. Well, unfortunately, I’m incredibly disappointed with the food I recv’d today. It was soooo bland and had absolutely NO flavor!!! I spent close to $30 for my meal and ended up throwing half of it in the trash. Not sure what happened in the three years I was gone, if they have a new chef or what. But the food was really bad. I don’t even think I can chance it giving them another try in the event that today was just a one off. $30 down the drain. What a huge disappointment. Smh"

"When I arrived at the restaurant, there was only one table of four seated. I was alone, ready to order after looking at the menu. However, I had to wait while the waiter attended to the other table, taking their order, serving their drinks and appetizers before finally coming to take my order. The service was slow and unimpressive. The food was mediocre, nothing special to note. The condiments, like the tamarind sauce, were subpar. When I finished eating, I had to wait a long time to ask for my check as the staff was preoccupied talking behind the bar. With only three other parties in the restaurant, it was clear that the slow and inefficient service was likely the reason they were not busy."

"I used to consider this restaurant to have average Indian food in the area. It was convenient, decent, and affordable. However, over the past two years, the portion sizes have significantly decreased. When I mentioned this to the person at the pickup counter, they insisted that the serving size was normal. This is not true. The prices have gone up slightly, while the portions have shrunk considerably. This new portion size is not acceptable after being a loyal customer for almost a decade. I suggest that we all refrain from ordering from this restaurant until they return to their previous portion sizes. I'm not upset, just stating the facts. The portions have definitely decreased, from being full to now only 2/3 to 1/2 full."

"I went here with a couple of colleagues. First time visit but really enjoyed the food. Very nice appetizers, great vegetarian dishes and really outstanding naan; fresh, a bit crispy, not dry and a bit salty. Best naan I had so far of all Indian restaurants visited (and I visited many in the world). This restaurant made it to my list of great Indian restaurants in las Vegas. So far there are only three. Highly recommended."

"I haven't been to an Indian Buffet since way before the pandemic, so now that this buffet is open, here we go. First off, wow, the price sure has gone up! It's $15 for the lunch buffet now! I never paid that much, but I guess prices are up all over. The big Chinese buffet in town is $14, so I guess that's the price of buffets now. Parking is open but a little weird, but just park on the empty lot and cross the curb to the door. The place looks better on the inside than on the outside for sure. Plenty of open seating inside. I was surprised how small the buffet was, just one small line of steam tables, but I guess maybe there's not that much variety in Indian buffets. They did have what I came for though, and that's the Tandoori Chicken! Most of the other offerings besides the Tikka Masala and basmati rice, I'll pass on ... not the most appetizing looking stuff I've seen. But I'll tell you what, that was the best tasting Tandoori Chicken I ever had at a buffet! It was so tender your teeth just sank in and pulled away effortlessly. The flavor was right on as well. I did like that they included thighs and drumsticks. Not like some Indian buffets, serving just the weird back and boney pieces and saving the good pieces for the ala carte dinner menu. I got my fill of chicken so I guess the price was worth it. Nice hot naan was brought to my table too. Drinks included with this buffet, soda, mango lasse and hot Cha. The Tikka Masala was good flavored, but the white meat chicken in it was a little dry, but that's white meat for ya. Poured over rice, the Tikka was very good. I'll come back here sometime. But I can't help think, the big Chinese buffet for a buck less you get way more selection of food ..... but you can get Tandoori Chicken there!"

"We had a fantastic dinner! The chai and lentil soup were complimentary, and the service was excellent. We dined on the patio out back, which had a quirky yet comfortable ambiance. There was a small mix-up with our orders – I ordered a mild chana paneer but received my boyfriend's hot version, while he got my mild dish. However, we both loved the garlic naan; it was outstanding. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends!"
