"The atmosphere was a bit loud, and the tables felt quite cramped. I ordered the pork chop dinner, which was slightly overcooked, but the flavor was excellent. However, we all agreed that the sides lacked seasoning, and the potatoes were overcooked as well. It seemed like the food was prepared in a bit of a rush. My husband chose the chicken, but unfortunately, the skin was also overcooked. He ordered octopus, presented on a slate plate, which looked appealing, but the juices ran over it.
One thing they need to address is the lack of paper napkins; it’s inconvenient to use cloth napkins for everything, especially wiping hands. Our waiter, Octavius, was very attentive, but at times it was hard to hear him because he was the only server in the dining area. He did his best to accommodate us, but there were moments when we were left with dirty dishes on the table and had to ask the hostess for extra items.
Despite these concerns, the food was enjoyable and the staff, including the server, were friendly. We appreciate the concept of farm-to-table dining, and we’ve dined at many similar restaurants before. I hope the owner addresses these issues, as the restaurant has great potential. I look forward to trying lunch there one day and hope to return for dinner as well."
